| Foods | Unquenchable Thirst? [Resolved; thanks!] | Jan 14 2008 19:55 (UTC) |

Sometimes, your body just wants liquid. Since your bloated, that seems to suggest you aren't going to the bathroom much, which means your body is holding onto the water. However, if this lasts more than a few days, particularly if you also start peeing a lot, go to the doctor. Excessive thirst and urination is a sign of diabetes. But one day? Just chalk it up to the bodily weirdness. |

Moderation in all things...use a combination of artificial sweetners (Splenda today, Equal tomorrow, etc.) to lower your consumption of any of them and some days, you can use real sugar (just make sure you are using the minimum you need...bet you it will still be lower than pre-sweetened stuff). Use fruits that are already in their own juice...at my local supermarket, the store brand of jar peaches aren't in syrup and when added to plain yogurt, yum. Stop thinking of yogurt as something sweet. Use it on top of a Mexican-style egg white omelette. Use it on anything you like to top with sour cream. Mix with salsa to start your day with a bit of kick. Mix it with your coffee. Add cocoa powder (although you may run into the same artificial sweetner issue). |

| The reason for the difference is that there is some of the butter/flavoring on the inside of the bag, not directly on the kernels. That means, if you were to take the kernels out of the bag and make them yourself, you would have a lower calorie count. But come on, that's kinda crazy...why wouldn't you just buy unpopped kernels and pass on the microwave bag if you were planning on doing that? | |||
What type of food should not be eaten?
Calorie Count does not prescribe a particular diet or tell people to avoid particular foods. We only ask that you eat a balanced diet... Read more
