Weight Loss oh no PIZZA Feb 10 2008

I would recommend having emergency backup healthy food or...more negotiable foods.

If there is cookie dough in the freezer go to your local grocer and find the frozen yogurt form of that. Frozen yogurt is slightly better for you. Peanut butter...always have low fat peanut butter around.

For pizza, same deal. Always keep a frozen pizza that you've compared and analyzed the calories, sodium and fat on. Archer Farms frozen pizzas are relatively healthy compared to most other frozen and delivery pizzas. When your parents order pizza pull out the frozen pizza and heat it up in the oven. Then share it with your family. Or encourage them to choose the frozen pizza over the delivery. Reminding your family of your goals and encouraging them to join you or negotiate will be a big plus.

But if they aren't being reasonable...eat one slice, drink TONS of water, eat an apple and you won't need any more pizza. Sometimes it's okay to eat that big greasy slice of pizza :D

Well my weigh in was satisfying as it has been for the past month.  I started at 200, last week I was at 190 and this week, 187.5.  That totals 12.5 pounds in 6 weeks.

My fiance has been so good to me.  The weekends are my relax days where I worry less about what I eat.  But I still like to stay aware of what I'm eating.  He really wanted to have pizza last night.  So I asked if we could possibly go to Target and see what the frozen pizzas were like.  This avoided the unknown calories in many major delivery pizza places and having to limit myself to one slice.  We went to the grocery store and found that Archer Farms sold some rather healthy frozen pizzas.  We negotiated and went home with a chicken Parmesan pizza.   you could have three slices that equaled to 386 calories total, very low in fat, no trans fat, and very low in sodium.

He also bought me some "Boca" burgers (tofu burgers) which I've wanted to try out and some shrimp to cook for myself on Monday with some salad.  He takes good care of me :)

New here, 21 years old :) been losing weight before I joined this. I started at the beginning of January and by the first of Feb.

I went from 201 to 189.5!

I cut my calories to 1500. I don't feel hungry, I eat food high in protein (yogurt, egg whites, etc...), lots of fruit, lots of water, small meals throughout the day, oatmeal in the morning etc...

I also don't punish myself. Instead of dropping chocolate or chips or snacks I like, I find substitutes or those 100 calorie packs! Those 100 calorie packs are great...they are low in sodium, 0 trans fat etc..

Finally I play DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). I burn about 900 calories playing the game. I burn 350 calories during lunch playing the game and then another 550 when I get home from work.

Hoping to continue losing at the same rate!

I'm engaged and my wedding is next year :)
