5'8", 19 yrs old, 215 lbs... however I don't look my weight. The thinnest I ever was was around 160 when I was 15 and 16. About a size 10. My goal (by next year) is to be 145, because its a healthy weight for my height. But seeing as I've never been that thin... it'll definitely be interesting! I'm looking forward to being a tall, skinny, fierce biatch lol |

Its alllllllll water weight and bloating. Just keep doing what you're doing. Actually, if you get bad cramps, I've read that exercising helps to ease them. So you might even want to work out a little bit more, especially to keep off that blah feeling. I know I always feel so tired and drained when I have my period. |

i'm more worried about the weight at this point, once I'm past 200 I'll start to do more weight training i think. i kind of like logging everything... its sorta comforting haha |

| Weight Loss | Opinions on my plan, please? | Jan 24 2008 13:57 (UTC) |

Yeah I've been logging everything... I'm a little anal retentive about it actually. Stuff like sitting, sleeping, driving- I log it all! I do my cardio every other day, so when I'm not jogging I do some weight training. I don't really want to build muscle quite yet, just tone. So I do some arm curls, crunches, and ball rolls (I have one of those big blue exercise balls). |

yeah it says 1450. Guess I'll bump it up, huh? lol As for exercise, that's ok right? I always feel like i'm a baby for only doing 30min of cardio but my legs are exhausted after it so... i can't really do any more haha |

| Weight Loss | Dieting or smoking | Jan 24 2008 13:31 (UTC) |

so earlier in this post I said I loved smoking... I had a cigarette this morning and I couldn't finish it. Ever since I started eating right and exercising, I've had a hard time with smoking. Which I'm sure most people trying to quit would love but... I love smoking! lol. I think my lungs are conspiring against me... |

well I always heard that 1200 was what women were supposed to eat.... but then through this site I learned that that really wasn't enough. So I bumped it up to 1350. Sometimes I'll go over, but I try to keep it between 1350-1450. That's not enough? |

Drink LOTS OF WATER! Also... what exactly are you eating? If you eat 3 meals with 350 calories, with 2 150 calorie snacks... you'll be eating all day and staying with your calorie intake. |

BMR doesn't make sense to me. I've always heard that eating 1200-1500 calories a day + exercise is healthy for a woman. My goal weight BMR is a little over 1500... I don't want to be eating that much, I don't think. I'm sticking with eating 1350 and exercising... all this BMR talk scares me lol |

I like smoking so I'm focusing on losing the weight. Though running is kind of a bitch because of it lol. I would think that it would be easier to diet and get in that healthy mindset, then try to quit smoking. |

yeah unfortunately that's true... when you get bigger your boobs do too and when you lose the weight so do your boobs. but honestly, don't worry about it too much. If you have a proportional shape, it'll stay that way when you're thinner. I love my 38Cs, but I really wouldn't mind having them a little smaller and perkier. Pec exercises help too |

| Weight Loss | The subway diet...Anybody ever try it? | Jan 22 2008 14:40 (UTC) |
11 |
I hated working at my Subway for many reasons, but one of them was that they didn't give us a free sub. Half off... of ONLY a 6inch, anything else was full price and you couldn't use a subway card for points. Needless to say my regional manager was a DICK lol |

| Weight Loss | The subway diet...Anybody ever try it? | Jan 22 2008 14:35 (UTC) |

I worked at Subway for a year and when it says the 6 grams of fat or less, you need to stick EXACTLY to the measurements... so its usually never 6 grams of fat. However a veggie sub, or one of the wraps... they're good and pretty good for you. Though *this is a trick of the trade* be WARY of the wraps because they aren't as popular and subway will leave them there for days. I can't count how many times I'd check the wraps and found that a dumbass co-worker had let them go moldy. |

get the clothes that I wanted before. I also do a lot of acting in theatre, but my parts get somewhat limited because of my size... so I might do more theatre because that won't be an issue anymore. Oh and notice all the guys checking me out ;-) |

I don't think that's unreasonable at all. I wish I had that kind of time to devote to the gym! I wouldn't do cardio for 2 hours, no... but maybe 45min-1hr of cardio and then the other hour stretching and muscle training would be better. But considering its once a day, not every day of the week, and they see you eating and don't hear you puking it all up again, they have no reason to harp on you about it lol |

| Weight Loss | How bad is it to not eat enough? | Jan 20 2008 08:41 (UTC) |
|
its always hard for me to find time to eat... this morning i had raisin bran, milk, and cranberry juice. but i ran late for work and didn't get a break so I didn't eat for the rest of the day. when i got home at 10pm i made myself a tuna sandwich. so today i only had 945 calories. but like you, I wasn't hungry until around 7pm and when i ate my sandwich i was fine. in my opinion, its better to eat when you're hungry and making sure everything's in the 1200 range, then trying to stuff yourself just because you *should* |
