After looking at your pictures all I can say is WOW...you are stunning and look great! Some people are just mean. Maybe he had some kind of hidden feelings for you and when he realized that nothing would come from it he got hurt (like children pulling hair and irritating you constantly).

Anyway be proud of youself and your progress. You look fantastic.

I am living in Holland and have been for about 9 years. I am from America and understand what you are saying. There are some major differences in the foods. I know that here they use alot less sugar, and no cornsyrup, which is in alot of american drinks and foods. I still use CC for all my fresh foods but when i'm just not sure I use a dutch site which lists alot dutch products.

You could always looked for the same in the country you are in.

Sorry for not weighing in last week, was extremely bloated and retaining water. I was put on hormone balancers to help with everything and it has.

I have been working out an average of 3 days a week for 45 to 60 min, and walking another 2 days for an hour+.

SW: 189

W1: 187.6

W2: 190.1

W3: 191.6

W4: 194 (not posted last week, mostly due to pretzels)

CW: 188.1

0.9lbs so far. I'm happy with that.

I have been sticking to 1550 calories a day for the past 8 days and today i am going to have a little more like 2000 (boyfriend took me out to dinner), still under my burn meter of 2340 (yay light exerise ;)).

I think home is were the heart is and my heart is with my boyfriend and two loving kitties. For now it is in a small apartment over looking a small park, tomorrow it may change, as long as I have the things I love most.

Like some I have moved around alot and as I grew up I realized that a place doesn't make a home.

I'm 20 and my boyfriend is 23, we have been together almost 3 years now. We have known each other for a long time, since I was like 12 years old. Our relationship started when he kissed me, and from there things went pretty fast. He was the first one to say "I love you" and at the time I wasn't ready to say it back. I told him how I honesly felt and he said he was ok with it. Now I can't stop saying it.

Anyway, point of the story...just tell him. It isn't like he is going to back off...You have been together to long for that.

If you are still afraid to tell him in person, write him a note explaining everything you feel for him.

Oh what a week I had! I was contacted by my old college and they told me my father still needs to pay 1875 euro, he has to pay it my january 30th! Talk about stress, I am the one who gets punished if he doesn't.

Due to the stress I have not started my period and am still extremely bloated.

My boyfriends the same. Ever since I stopped working last december I have been doing the cooking (which is mostly healthy) and he started losing weight. He Is trying to gain some needed pounds so what I started doing (don't like him eating fatty foods...heart attack calling) I started giving him twice as much as I ate.

Like tonight, I made chicken burgers. Per burger it's about 350 calories. I make 2 for me (one for now, and one for later) and make 4 for boyfirend. So he is getting enough calories (1400) to not lose weight and I am getting enough (700 over 2 meals) to lose.

Maybe you should try dubbling the portions for him. Say you are on a 1500 calorie plan, then he will get at least 3000 (if you cook all meals...) and it is way healthier then things guys would grab on there own.

I am getting close to TTOM so I am retaining water, I usually start bloating a week before I start and then it goes down a few days into it (Sorry if TMI). I can bloat up to 5lbs so yeah. I will give my weight from yesterday (Saturday) because I feel blah today.

I think they meant more as fluid requirements...and I think it should...basically just flavored water. I too drink more tea then water.

It has been 1 year to the day that I stopped smoking and started watching what I ate. I lost 20lbs last year (not a lot, but atleast something) I never really wanted more to eat, just something to put in my month...Gum was my bff for a long time...but it gets easier.

My mother was one of those who "don't like the taste" of green tea. I personally have grown to like it. One day I brought her a eucalyptus and mint flavored one when she was sick and she took one sip and was like "This is pretty good". I would say pick a flavor you like. I personally like jasmine or lemon grass with honey. Warm or cold...they taste nice.

If I know I am moving alot I eat my sedentary level (1980 calories). Because I will still hae like 500 calories more burnt. I think it might be wise for you, on the days you are exercising to do the same. You will need those extra calories.

Some advice for today, if you are hungry eat. I tend to be more hungry at night so that is when I eat more.

I stayed on my 1500 calorie target sunday and monday went slightly over at 1566. Today I was really hungry (did food shopping and carried 20lbs of stuff by myself *proud*) so I at at burning level for sedentary (1980).

I made gulash (sp?) for dinner. It was filling for me and enough for boyfriend. I still have 2 servings left for tomorrow (made enough for 6 people. 300 calories per portion).

Tomorrow is new years eve and I plan to have that as my "free" day. I have been craving "olieballen (oilballs)" they are a dutch treat that is only sold during the holidays. I have my eyes set on a bag made with apples.

I know it's not weigh in day but I weighed this morning and to my surpise I wa 187.6, 1.4 down since monday. I think it was water weight.


Anyway, good to see how many people are interested. To lose 10lbs by March 31st is a great goal, and a realistic goal. When I was trying to lose weight earlier this year I set unreallistic goals and it made me sick. I want to take my time this time around. Overal goal is 40lbs by December 09, 10lbs every 3 months.

I wills stop typing now :).

It's been a good while since I've joined in. I would love to join in with this.

I am 19 (20 in 2 weeks), just under 5'1, and 188lbs (29/12).

I have slowly been losing weight for a year (20lbs in total) and I am ready to jump back on.

178 by March 31st.

I wouldn't say I have a phobia, but I am scared to death of spiders. It started when I was like 3 and I was asleep on the couch. All of a sudden I woke up to find a huge spider (daddy longleg) across my face. I couldn't even get a scream out. Finally my mother noticed and ever since then I tend to scream and jump up when I see a spider. Thankfully I have 2 cats that will eat anything that moved (and doesn't) so most spiders don't stand a chance. If they do happen to find there way in I scream and have someone come kill it. Ever since I moved in with my boyfriend and this happens he laughs, but then told me he is just as afraid as I am but he wants to look manly.

Buy some spider catchers or bug spray and keep it handy for when you see them. Most are harmless and wont even bother you.

Or get a big manly man to protect you when ever they might strike :D.

Time for a mini update.

My hot water boiler is broken so I have been suffering cold showers for a week, so all that dancing around the coldness must be doing something. I feel good and have seen a steady decrease in weight.

 I haven't gotten on the crosstrainer because it has been too hot. I have been out walking. I try and wear highheels just because they make my legs feel and look great :D and burns slightly more calories.

I have stayed within my 1450 calorie limit (except wednesday it was 1550). I have been trying new recipes for all the fresh veggies I bought lost wednesday. Right now I am making baked tofu marienated (sp?) in soysauce and rosemary. It smells onbelievable. I also find that I get hungry right before bed and bell pepper sticks and garlic sauce make a great midnight snack.

I also found a recipe for curry rice that is really nice. Just need to remember not to buy my chilipowder at the asian store because it is hotter then normal ;).

I am tired of this heatwave that has come accross. It did storm last night which made it nice and cool this morning and early afternoon, but now it is hot again and it is almost 9:30 pm. Oh the summer!

It's monday...yay.

I got a new scale, it is called the dieting scale...very interesting. It tracks your weight and will show how much you gained/lossed since the last weigh in.

I wieghed my self and it says i am 190, i can believe that since I haven't doodled in a while, but I got some yoghurt so that should change.

It is just so hot here, I am already sweating and all I did was walk around town shopping. I dunno if I will work out so day because of the fact it is so darn hot. I will try to get my 20 minutes of crosstrainer in.

Mini-update for the day -

I woke up feeling very bloated and just feeling blah. I still kicked my self in to motion and took a walk to my mothers and then the store. When I got home I finally did 20 minutes on the crosstrainer (burning 352 calories).

My reward will be a 25 calorie popsickle.

*Edit - I am ready to throw my scale aginst the f-ing wall. In one room it is saying 178 (close) and in another 204. I am comfussed. I am going to go get a new one tomorrow if I can get my boyfriend out to buy it. He was like "We don't need one!" I'm like "Yes we do!" this went on for a while and he finally asked why. So we will see. I am just worried that it has been broke for a while and what if I really am 204 again (dunno how) but yeah. (just a little rant)

I'll give a little mini-update. Some how between last wednesday and now my scale has broke. I stepped on it this moring and it said 150...I know 30 pounds in 1 night is not possible so I turned it over and poked the weight thingies...(they poke out) then put it back down and tried adain this time it showing 205...by this time I was laughing. After more poking I think I got it somewhat normal. It settled between 183 and 184 so I am right on track.

Still haven't worked on the crosstrainer but I have been walking outside (Great walking weather).

I went overboard on the peanut butter last night but still stayed below my burnmeter.
