I tried them for the first time last week and am hooked. I have been having one a day as a somewhat healthier treat. I have loved all flavors- pb cookie, oatmeal raisin, and choc peppermint stick....oh, the caramel brownie is awesome too! The lemon zest isn't bad, but you have to loooooove lemon. They are all natural and 70% organic......my thought is that if they fit into your calorie budget, you are good. |

| Weight Loss | FINALLY got over plateau......Now what? | Mar 06 2008 16:51 (UTC) |

| Keep your calories higher...you are exercising a lot- you want that gap to be b/t 500-800 a day, and no more than 1000. That is what helped me over my plateau and I am losing again. Good luck. | |||

| I've just managed to get out of a plateau, so here is what helped me: I have increased my calories by about 200-250 on days I don't work out, and 300-350 on days I do.....I hope this helps! | |||

| I'm on day 4 of my second bout since January. It is not fun. I haven't been able to work out since Monday. I too can't sleep, and can't seem to get my temp down. I am on antibiotics now. My only suggestion is to see the doc- there are a couple of strains going around and I have had 2 of them! Good Luck! | |||

| PLEASE DO! I went through almost an entire bag of Twizzlers today- I haven't ever been a binger, so this must be b/c I have been so strict (I love Twizzlers and chocolate!) Any recipe you can give me would be a huge help! I weigh myself every day, sometimes more than once a day, so I keep an eye on where I am. I just have felt like- what's the point....it's not changing right now! | |||

| Yes you can! I just bought a box of Bisquick Heart Smart mix (looks like I can make everything from low cal pancakes to waffles to strawberry shortcake to pizza!) From what I saw, the pizza is around 200 (give or take, I don't have the box in front of me) calories per serving!!!!! | |||

| Weight Loss | I'm gaining instead of loosing... | Jan 24 2008 14:49 (UTC) |

| Hi. I wouldn't start starving yourself, but are you documenting everything you eat? I found that was a problem for me- I was gaining but I thought I was under 1600. Come to find out, I was eating more. I would also add a bit more cardio- maybe 20 more mins/day, and see if that helps. (I'm no doctor either, but I have experience w/this). Good luck. | |||

| Not sure if you have one of these near your home, but there is a place called nutrishop (nutrishop.com) that sells a Protein shake called Pro-5. It is low in sugar (almost 0), low in fat, and only 140 calories. Add the skim milk and it is a great tasting and good for you protein shake. I have it after my workouts. Good luck! | |||

| New Members | How does the Burn meter work? | Jan 21 2008 22:56 (UTC) |

From what I understand, it is estimating your amount of calories burned based on your energy level (the one you entered in the profile- moderate, etc). It goes up as the day goes on to account for estimated daily activities. Of course, the more you do in addition to your normal activity (i.e. gym, weights), the higher the number is (if you enter it in the log).
Good luck |
