Yes, I weight myself under the same conditions, early morning, nude.  I also can't figure out how much more I should eat on the days I exercise strenuously.  I read the site and it sounds confusing to me.  I don't know if I'm doing it right.  I thought maybe I should add 400 additional calories to my 1350 on my exercise days.   is this correct?

Seriouslly weighting your self daily is just madness..womens body retain alot of water depending upone when your monthly cycle is..so you will fluctuate daily...Throw away the scales they just leave you feeling down and depressed if you think you havnt lost any weight just use a tape measure and take your measurements every few weeks form your waist, hips etc thats what i do im not interested in stepping on any scales

This happens to me all the time.  It happened when I was on Weight Watchers and is happening again now that I joined Calorie Count (CC).  I am a female, 5’9”, weigh 198.8, goal weight is 155.  According to CC, I just ingest 1350 calories and expend 2100 calories a day.  I am trying to eat healthy and have stayed between 1400 and 1800 calories.  My exercise consists of strength training (mornings) and brisk walk/jog/run (afternoons) about 4 times a week.

I weighed myself and found I gained a pound.  I really thought I would lose weight.  This has consistently happened to me with Weight Watchers and now on CC.   I turn down all treats; feel I am eating like I should, what is happening?  Why don’t I lose weight!!!   I have friends who are sedentary and they lose 1.5 to 2 pounds a week.  I don’t get it??

if you do the same excersise day in day out your body will ajust to that and you will reach a platue you have to keep yourbody guessing and change your exercise I read it in a articl a few weeks ago :o) in my opinion id try even more excersise if your not getting the results you want...plus you may be gaining muscle you proberlly are loseing weight but its just converting.

Foods What defines a food as a "junk food" exactly? Feb 17 2009

I see junk food as anything with saturated fats in it.

burgers fromsay mc donals are so bad i cant see how they contain and iron and protein...there made up of allsorts of crap from the animal like tendons and muscle tissues and blood clots

yes your body needs some fat every day but not that sort...fish, lean mince etc contains the right good fats.

A sad but true fact is nobody will ever be fully happy. I used to think " If was slimmer I would be so much happier"

Yeh I lost the weight & was happier. Once the health/weight issue is under control you will be happier, but soon you realise that there are other aspects of your life that you are not happy with.

The difference is that now you are at the healthy weight you want to be, you have a lot more confidence to change these things in your life that your not happy with. I found that my weight problem over shadowed any other problems, so once that my weight was under control I found other parts of my life I wasn't happy with & it was scary.

For example, in the 2 years since I lost weight I've - Broken up with my boyfriend of 4 years (it just wasn't going anywhere) I lost my job & changed my career path then lost that job 8 months later & recently started another job in a different city, I met a new fella last year & went to America with him last month, also a lot of my relationships with my friends had changed as I was no longer the 'fat friend'.

The point is life is just one long string of fixer-uppers. TBH before I lost weight my life the same old s**t all day every day for about 5 years.

As you said, you just gotta get on with it. But don't forget to enjoy it as much as you can.

I doubt surgery is the answer. If you yourself can say "I'm not fat" then you don't need to be thinner. As long as you're getting a decent & varied diet & your BMI falls into a healthy range - relax & just enjoy your life.

Im the same i am convinced in my head that if i was thinner bad things wouldnt happen to me - i wake up everyday hatin my body im not even massive or obese im just not happy but then i think if i was thinner everything would go right

I think its when you get to a point in weight loss when you lose so much each week then you start to slow down for a bit and dont notice much weight difference.

There is one thing you can do .  Embrace it.  I have a large butt as well. Sometimes, you're just built to look differently than perhaps you'd prefer.

Cardio, burning the extra fat, is the only thing that will trim it down (IF, it's fat);  if it's muscle and bone structure you're out of luck :)  Squats will perk it up. I'm sure it's lovely. :)

Its just annoying because i cant fit in jeans proper due to it I would love to have a "kylie bum" im a uk size 12 so its not a HUGE bum just looks big in the mirror haha!
