| Is there any truth to the fact that you HAVE to eat the exact amount of calories as your BMR -- i.e. if your BMR is 1500, then you should not go BELOW 1500 because this sends your body into starvation mode? What happens then if you want to lose weight? And you shave 500 off of the BMR...that only leaves you with a 1000 calorie a day diet and almost everyone on the website says that 1200 is the minimum amount of calories to be consumed by women everyday. | |||
