these are really good suggestions, thanks guys! i think i'm going to eat at maintenance mode for the next week... & now that i sit back and think about it, maybe i was creating too big of a deficit. i generally consider myself pretty sedentary, but i work downtown, and take the bus to work, which creates quite a bit of walking. i'm always moving in my job too. i'm sure this adds up after an entire day. i wore a pedometer a few days, and i averaged about 8000-10,000 steps a day. so after this week of eating at maintenance, i will start back on the diet but decrease my calorie deficit! :)

So after trying three different stores, I finally lucked out and got the last copy of My Fitness Coach at EB games... apparently this is a really popular game. I did a 30 minute work-out last night, and it really kicked my butt. My muscles are tender today, but not the "oh god, i pushed myself too far" sore. Looking forward to another workout tonight!

Ah! Thanks for the heads up! I read the reviews on Amazon, not good at all. On a side note, I did read the reviews on Wii "My Fitness Coach" and it seems to be pretty popular. So I think I'll get My Fitness Coach instead.

My plateau is going on 9 days now. Bah. I tried staggering for 5 days and so far it hasnt worked, so I'm just sucking it up and continueing on with what I usually do. I have to start losing again, eventually so I'm not going to worry to much about it. crosses fingers

Let me know if that method works for you! Just when things get going good and I'm losing steadily, I hit a bloody plateau, get frustrated, and fall off my diet. If it works, I'm going to try it next time!

I'm a HUGE fan of PGX. I swear by this stuff!!! (It claims: Controls and balances blood sugar levels; Supports healthy weight loss for life; Promotes satiety and reduces food cravings; Lowers cholestrol and triglyceride levels; Contains no stimulants) And it really lives up to what it claims. It noticably makes me feel full after a smaller portion of food, as well as helps me to feel full longer. I don't have those hunger pains anymore! It also helps to level out your blood sugar levels. Before PGX, my struggle in dieting was staying away from sweets. Candy<3... But I rarely ever have cravings for sugar anymore. I've had alot of success with PGX, I've been taking it for about 2 months now. I don't take the maximum dosage of 6 pills before a meal, I find that 3 is plenty enough. I heard about them on the local news channel, a doctor was talking about the benefits and that they're safe to use. I also have a co-worker who uses PGX as well, and is also a firm believer now. I buy mine at Costco - the brand is Webber Naturals - Quite pricey, but well worth it.
