| I downloaded the tool bar for internet explorer and it keeps a running total on the top of your window.
So using this, i enter it as I eat it and keep a running tally. |

I know what you mean about the clothes, I just went and bought some new jeans because my old ones were too big.. and the new jeans cost me 100 bucks... but I guess i would rather spend the limited money on smaller clothes that larger ones... I was up to a XXXL shirt and now I am a XL... | |||

| I did slim fast and gained 8 lbs. Those shakes are good.
I eat honny nut cheerios and 1 oz of milk on them for breakfast and that is 125 cal... and I feel fuller |

| My doc said to eat 5 times a day.. so I dont go into starvation mode.. so I eat Cheerios for breakfast, I eat a apple and other fruit at 10ish, then I east a nice turkey sandwich at noon, another snack at 2-3:00 and then a dinner at 6pm or so...
I hit about 12-1600 cal per day... But the MOST important thing i do for weight loss is I walk. every day I go on a walk for about 1 hour. and what I have noticed is if I do not walk i just stay the same.. If I do walk I loose weight. since Jan 4th till now I have lost more than I expected.. about 2-3 lbs a week and I feel great!! |

| If you are stalling.. make sure you are eating 5 times a day.. small amounts to keep metobolism burning....
Also go for walks, and burn more... keep the "burn going" You can do it.. just focus on the goal... |

Welcome to the club.. :) I beleive that you can do this, because you have already did the most imporant step... you made the decission to make it work for you !! Loosing weight for me has been a mental thing as well as a physical. And hearing you say "THIS YEAR" sounds like a commitment, a commitment that will happen! This site has work perfectly with me, I recommend downloading the desk top tool bar, it is very handy. then every time I eat I log it in and I hold myself to my goals. For me my doctor told me to eat 5 times a day but small portions. maybe 100 - 200 for breakfast snack like a apple or something smaller 150-250 at lunch a nice turkey and cheese sandwich (?) 250-350 an after noon snack 100-200 and then a dinner 350-550 She said to eat very slowly because it takes 20 min for the brain to reconize that food is in the stomach.She said that fast eaters tend to over eat .. so now I take a bite and set down the fork... chew... sip water.. then take another bite.. its weird at first be then i got use to it. And mostimportantly I bought a pedometer and started walking. at first it was just around the block.. then 2 blocks.. next thing I knew I now walk about 5-6 miles a day and I feel great!! I started dieting on Jan 5th weighing in at 245. I weighed in this morning at 212... PRAISE GOD Tbini |

Breakfast 200 cal snack 150 cal lunch 300-400 snack 250 dinner 3-400 1400-1700 cal a day also walk for 10000 steps!!! It works I loose about 1.5- 2.5 lbs a week Tbini |

| Same thing happened to me...
Doc restricted to 1500 Cal / day and in the first 10 days i droped like mad... I talked to the doc and she said as long as you are eating healthy foods, excerzing and eating 5 times a day small amounts to keep the metabloism running.... you are ok andkeep it up!!! |
