Hey everybody. Well I got zapped for two weeks and gained 4 pounds so I went back up to 167 and I decided not to weigh in for two weeks. I am back down to 165 so that is something. I wasn't eating the way I should and it showed on my scale. No more of that. I hope more people will chat about their weight loss. Phiniman you are doing great. I know if you keep working you will reach your goal by may. I want to be 150 by the time my girlfriend comes down from new york in June so I am right there with you all the way. I am running another 5k this weekend and I am going to try and beat my time on my first one by a minute or two. Hopefully there won't be as many hills this time. I don't know the course and won't know it until saturday but wish me luck. I hope everyone is doing great this week and talk to you again next week. Melissa |

Hey everybody, I did my weigh in on saturday and I am down to 163.5 which is down from last week. I didn't eat any pizza this week-end so that was good. I work part time at papa johns as my second job. I hope everyone has a good week. Phiniman get to the gym no excuses. You have to take the time to care for yourself cause no one else can do it and usually they will have all kinds of reasons why you shouldn't go because they are insecure themselves. Take care Melissa

hey everybody! I did my weigh in today and was 167.5 so only a half a pound but at least I didn't gain. I ate waffle house twice last week and just had a bad week with food but I worked out especially hard each day so I wouldn't gain. i hope everyone has a good week with their program. Start weight 207 oct 07 Goal weight 130 Last week 168 Current weight 167.5 total in program 9.5 |

| Hey phinman. Try cutting your fat intake to around 20 percent and add an extra 15 minutes of cardio to your workout. If that doesn't work let me know I have more ideas. I try to keep my fat intake between 20 and 22 percent and so far I haven't stopped losing. I keep adding different things to my workouts also. Just change things up. I also eat a lot of fish and only eat red meat once a week so I am getting more good protein and good fat. Also if you drink soda cut them out completely. My first 10 pounds was soda weight. That includes the diet soda because of the sugar derivitives. (sp) Good Luck and keep trying. Melissa | |||

| Another weigh in for me on saturday and am down to 168, so two pounds for this week. Only 38 more to go. I tried a kickboxing class on saturday and it was so much fun. Also a real calorie burner. He worked my abs so hard ( i didn't know they were still in there) I had a hard time opening cans of pizza sauce today at my 2nd job. Oh well no pain no gain or should I say loss. Hope everyone has a great week. | |||

| I did my weigh in on Saturday and I am at 170 so not a lot of change for the week but I didn't get to work out for two days. I am back on track though this week. I signed up for the avon walk for breast cancer in oct of this year. It is a 39 mile walk spread over two days. I have got some serious training to do as well as fund raising. I have to get 1800 dollars by october. This is a major goal for me to work towards so now I really have motivation to go to the gym every day for other reasons than losing weight. | well today was weigh in and I am down another three pounds. I now weigh 170. Only 40 more to go and I can't wait to get there. How is everyone else doing with theirs. I hope good. | |||

| It takes a little while to get the weight to start coming off especially when you are lifting weights. It will come though once your body is more toned. I know it did for me and I work out 6 days a week. My weight stayed up for about 5 weeks before I lost my first two pounds and now it is pretty steady dropping a pound to a pound and a half per week. God I wish I only had 20 pounds to lose. You will get there don't change anything about working out. Try drinking only water for a while it seems to have helped me. Good Luck. | |||

| Thanks I just didn't want to be the only one out there fighting against the odds. I do feel much better since I started working out. I also quit smoking the same time I started working out so I know I am fighting off that weight gain also. My doctor changed my anti depressent to one that is not a weight gainer and she said that I should be able to lose all the weight I want. It is effexor. So far it is working fine for my depression so we will see if the weight will really come off. | |||
