I've never eaten more in my entire life and I eat about 2,000 less calories a day. I have stuck to a 1500 calorie a day plan, and I eat 6 small meals a day. When i was in college I probably ate 3500 calories a day and only ate dinner. I never go to bed hungry and I have never looked better. But besides that, I agree, sex is GREAT now. |

| Thanks guys!! I definately want to try all the fruit and natural suggestions, because from what I've heard laxatives can be quite an unpleasant experience. Maybe once I get this problem resolved I may be able to shed the 15 pounds I've been trying to lose for years. Hey a girl can dream... | |||

I was trying to explain my whole trying to live healthier plan to my best friend the other day as I turned down a slice of pepperoni pizza...(so hard!!) She told me that she always tells herself "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels". She's 110 pounds. I told her she must never have had a good steak and a glass of red wine. There is no sense in beating yourself if you slip once and a while, and living healthy and feeling good is a reward in itself. Exercising and eating well should be a lifestyle to maintain to feel good, not to feel "thin". |

I have heard that Wellbutrin is one of the best anti-depressants for the sex drive problem: supposedly it doesn't have the same sexual side-effects as prozac, zoloft and other SSRI's. But for me being happy and anxiety-free is worth a lousy sex life. (Kinda sucks though haha). |

| anyone on zoloft?...been on it for a year and gained weight the first couple of months but now I feel great and have lost 10 pounds in about 2 months. I find it so hard to first start an anti-depressant, but after a couple of months most of the side effects have stopped. | |||

I have been on Zoloft for over 3 years now and am just going up from 100 mg to 150mg. Everytime I increase my dose I also get those kind of side effects: trouble sleeping, tiredness (extreme), sweating, and I also get the extreme shakes. If you up the dose slowly it will pass, but it generally passes after taking the meds for a couple of months. But as someone who suffers extreme anxiety and had a myriad of eating problems (disorders) for almost 10 years I can say that Zoloft saved my life, so don't give up on it. Talk to your doc if it still doesn't seem to be helping, because I had tried celexa and prozac before finding a med that worked for me. hope that helps. |
