Well, after the weekend, I've gained some.  I'm over 180 now.  YIKES!  Today I'll be cutting back, waaaayyyyyy back!  I can't believe I'm over 180.  It's been many, many months since I've seen a number on the scale that high.  Hopefully it's just the amount of salt and the beer I drank and it'll go down in a few days.

Congrats, eechie!  That's great!  I love when my clothes get too big and I have to go shopping for new ones.  It's been quite a while since I've had to do that. :(  Maybe soon.  I have to think positive!

I'm not beating myself up at all anymore.  If I lose, I lose. so what.  The stress of it all is killing me.  I have never stressed so much over losing weight.  I think its this website doing it.  Really.  Instead of helping me, it's hindering my progress.  I've become obsessed with the scale bc of the challenges and everyone asking me what I weigh "today". 

When I've lost weight in the past, I weighed once a week and I was happy.  I never obsessed over the food I ate.  I just ate less and did a little walking.  I didn't care what I burned.  I never heard of a deficit b4 CC.  So I think I'm cutting back on CC.  I'll be on here once a week and thats it.

Nice to see someone came on!  I was wondering......

Hey Shelton!  Nice to see you here!  :)  

EECHIE ~ I said earlier that we should post whenever we want.  I support that totally.  We should share our experiences to help others and see how everyone deals with the everyday pressures of food!  It's tough sometimes.  And also, there's no such thing (as far as I'm concerned) as too much posting.  :)  Post away til your hearts content!  LOL

Went to visit my MIL today.  Talk about restraint!  It's a hard place to be when you're watching your calories.  But I did ok and didn't eat a bit!  LOL

Does anyone else want to join us? 

I went for a walk yesterday and it was really nice to get out in the warm sun. Don't think I'll be walking today though.  My knee is hurting and "clicking".  Drives me nuts! LOL  Even though I wrapped it tight yesterday, I don't think it'll work today.

Hubby is off from work today, so I'll be spending time with him.  :)

Lynn ~ I cut back on the protein.  Been a while now since I've drank one of those shakes.  Can't remember when I last had one. LOL 

Weight today........182!!!!!  I can't believe I was above 180.  Been a loooooong time since I've been above 180.  Hopefully it'll just go away.  No reason for the raise in number.

It's so nice and warm out today....70*!  Went for my walk yesterday, but I don't know if my knee will allow me to go today.  It's hurting and clicking like crazy.  Went to WalMart and had to take my cane.  I haven't needed to take it in a while.  Even though I park in handicap parking close to the store, I still needed it today.  :(   In the store, I just lean on the cart!  hehehe  I hate using my cane other than to take my walks.

I'm on this strawberry kick now (been about a month) and when I run out I freak. LOL  I act like there's nothing to eat when I don't have them to snack on. Hence, the run to WalMart!

Yesterday I cleaned th outdoor furniture and put it out.  Kids were happy about that.  Usually I have them do it.  Calories burned there!!!  How obsessed is that?!?!?!  :)

For my stretch marks I use StriVectin-SD.  It's for existing marks, not to prevent them.  It works, but it is a little pricey.  They have faded considerably.

I've lost 70lbs over a year and I have marks on my abdomen, top of my thighs (you can't see them with shorts on), and my boobs (UGH!). 

The excess skin.....I have none!  I'm 44 yrs old and I was worried about that.  But I'm fine, I think, because I lost weight so slow and my skin had time to firm up as I lost.

Hello everyone!  I just got back from a walk.  I wrapped this knee tight and away I went!  This isn't going to keep me in the house on a warm day.  It's in the upper 60's today and so nice and sunny!

I burned 600 calories and feel good about it.  I'm hanging out at 178 lbs.  So I lost 3 pounds.  but no more in over a week.  I'm trying, but no luck!  :(

Aj, good luck to ya. And I sure hope he can get that taken care of.

Gotta go to my pain management dr in the morning.....UGH!  I know what's coming.  Steroid Injection in my back for the new stuff that's going on.  And I know they are going to want to do another Discogram.  THAT hurts like a mother!  Extreme pain to the max!!!!  Last time he had to shoot some morphine in my IV and knock me out bc I was screaming.  I'll let ya'all know the dates on those.  You can say some prayers for me to get thru it. 

My knee is giving me grief again too.  All these aches and pains at 44 yrs of age!  What am I going to be like when I'm 60????  I feel 80 now.  :(   Dr says this knee is like this bc I overcompensate for my bad left leg.  Wonderful. 

And onto my weight.......179 this morning.  I was 178 yesterday.  I'm eating 1500 calories now and doing ok with it.  I'll stay there and see what happens over the next few weeks.  Atleast I'm no longer gaining.  I went up to 181 a few days ago.....YIKES!

AJ ~ Ok, I'm gonna play the devil's advocate here.  :)  You say he's in pain and nothing seems to help it.  Now, I'm a person who lives in constant, chronic pain day in and day out.  when I feel like my pain meds aren't helping, the WHOLE house, no the whole neighborhood, knows it!!!!   And noone understands it unless they go through it.  When people are in pain they do and say things that just don't make sense.  I've done it.  Ignoring him won't help matters.  Yelling at him, won't help either.  Just make him defensive.  He probably doesn't even realise what he's doing.  I didn't. 

What my hubby did was just hug me and talk to me.  Telling me he was on my side and we would get me feeling better made a difference.  Finding a dr who will help his knee is key to the problem. 

Once he feels better, his attitude will change too.  Hope this helps.

You're so welcome!  I almost didn't do this challenge.  Mainly bc I'm having so  much trouble losing.  I was thinking, Why should I start a challenge when I can't even lose weight!  But I did it anyways.

If you want to join a group, just look under 'community' and click on groups.  You can check out groups for anything. 

I find the best support in the challenges.  That's why I started challenges.  You can come on here anytime.  You can vent, support others, talk about any challenge your having.  Whatever comes to mind!  We are here for ya.  We'll help you in any way we can.  :)

After the weigh in on the 6th, I jumped up to 181.  So I'm happy to see 178 now.  I'm sticking to about 1500 calories lately and I think that's the magic number! LOL  I guess I had to play with the numbers to find the one I needed.

I'm happy to see some of you signed up for the new challenge.  :)  Anyone else up for it?  It's OPEN, so you can sign up whenever you want.

Anyother suggestions for a name?  C'Mon, I want to hear them all. And I do think I am switching the weigh in day to Friday.  Then if you splurge on the weekend, you have all week to get it back down.

jnielsen - there's nothing better than a nice walk!  Good luck with the weigh in too!  It's always nice to see a loss on the scale.  Even though my number is rising!  UGH!

This 1700-1800 calories/day isn't working for me.  My number is still going up!  I have to stop this now.  181 today!!!!  So, starting today I'm going back to 1350 and if I exercise, I'll eat 100 more.  I can't gain anymore just waiting to see if it's going to stop!  I think the 177 on Monday was a fluke or something.

Have a nice weekend!  I'm off to the store to buy some Easter candy for my kids and flowers for my mom.  :)

It's a nice day today, about a warm 60* out and I feel crappy and stuck inside. My allergies are making my whole face hurt!

Weighed in today at a whole 180 lbs!  10 pounds up from my lowest weight.  I was hoping that by this time of year I could be buying some nice summer clothes.  Not yet.  How disappointing.

Making BBQ Country-style Ribs (the ones with no bone and all meat!) today.  I'm not eating it.  Making me turkey burgers instead. :)  Gotta stay away from the pork.  They smell really good too!

Hi!  Yeah, we got snow!  About 1.5 inches....it was crazy!  It looked like January this morning with snow all over the place.  I hope its the last for the year.  I'm ready for summer now.

I didn't weigh in.  Call me chicken!  I ate instead.  I had some oatmeal and that's a first in awhile.  I forgot I even had some in the cupboard.  LOL  I ate some strawberries too.  I finished off what I had.  So I have to get to the store and get some more. 

Hubby is eating all my good food.  He says he wants to get rid of his belly.  He gets rid of it, then he wants to eat chicken nuggets and fried this and that and it makes me mad.  If you're going to eat crummy stay out of MY food!  Yell  That's what I want to tell him.

nikki ~ I know all too well abuot gaining from not moving.  It comes back fast once you break that routine.  You'll get back to things soon and you can lose that.  Don't worry.

 Lynn ~ You were posting when I was!  That's too funny.  The door thing! LOL  I potty trained my son by letting him pee on trees! hehe

Hi everyone!  I haven't deserted you.  I've had a bad last couple days (ttom) and spent most of my time laying in bed and eating junk.  I'll see what the damage is later.

I'm back on track starting today and hopefully I can undo what I've done!  Boy!  Ttom really kicked my butt.  :(   But here I am now and ready to move on.

Hi Nikki!  Welcome.......

I'm here now!  I was in bad shape for a couple days...ttom!  That's all I can say.

Haven't weighed myself yet.  I went crazy with the eating sweets for 2 days.  I felt like crap and the cravings were unreal.  So, with that said I'll weigh myself in a bit and let ya'all know what the damage is.

BL was crazy last night!  I knew the one girl was going to throw the weigh in. They want to lose weight, but at the same time it's a game they're playing and you have to play the game. I know I would!

I'm back on track today.  No more sweets. No more ice cream, chips, cookies and all that other good stuff!  I told you, I went bezurk with the "bad" stuff!  Yesterday morning I ate 6 cookies (300 calories) for breakfast!  With milk, of course.  I didn't even touch a piece of fruit in 2 days!  Very unlike me! 

I feel bad today, but it's over and done with now. So on to better things today.

I'll check in later.  Have a good day!

Lynn ~ Been looking for a bike I can afford.  I don't have much money to get one, so I'm looking for a good used one.  I'm not gonna get one I can't ride first to make sure it suits me.  Ya know?  I want a recumbant so I can adjust the seat and be comfortable.  I use to ride one at the gym and I did well.  I'm not paying for a gym membership just to rdie the bike! LOL

Ttom showed up, finally!  A whole week late too!  Tomorrow will be one miserable day for me.  May not get on much bc the 1st day is a doozie and I end up just laying in bed.  Wish me luck bc I feel it in my back already.

Hope the weight goes down now!  Can't wait to see where I end up in a couple days.

Hubby is all excited to get back to work tomorrow!  I'm happy too!  MONEEEEYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!  LOL  What a relief to know that we'll be getting caught up in a few weeks.  The utility companies will be relieved too!  Just been paying the least we can for now.  We gotta eat!  ;)

My hubs ate 5 tacos, and not small ones either! lol  He thanked me for making it about 3 times too!  LOL 

AJ ~ The guys have to trust us to make healthy things that taste good too!  When are they going to trust us!  LOL

My weight went down today 179 even.  But lowered my calories yesterday a bit.  Ate 1500 instead of the 1700 I've been eating.  Gonna eat 1500 today too and see what happens.  Maybe I need to slowwwwly increase the calories. 

My allergies are kicking butt today!  I'm gonna walk in a bit.  Just a short walk bc the knee is still being a pain.
