Same here, I weigh in on Fridays too, and after a 2 pound loss last week, I was looking forward to this week, but snuck an early peek this morning and was up 5 pounds from last week, AARRRGGGGG!!!!!! Hopefully, by next Friday, I'll be back on track, good luck to all of you in doing the same!! |

I have the same problem, doesn't matter what type of food it is, I'm going to overeat. I have had some success though. Exercise is amazing, start out by walking and go a little further every day. It really does help! Also, start writing down what you are feeling (thinking) when your eating is out of control. There must be some unhappiness/stress going on in your life that is causing you to be out of control. If you ever need to talk, e-mail me, I'd love to be freinds, good luck.

1. Beth 2. 41 3. 5' 1 1/4"/172-down from 210 October 07' 4. Since teeage years, yoyo dieter, up and down my entire life 5. I would like to be 130/135-the lowest I've been was at 17-around 125-130. Since then when I was about 30 I got down in the 150's, about 37 I got to the 160's-then ballooned again. 6. No exact goal-although I'd like to lose as much as possible by December, we are supposed to be going to Hawaii. Yes, thanks so much for starting this group, not many people my height at the same or close to the same place I am-it's noice to have people who understand where I'm coming from!!

I have the same darn yo-yo problem!! Yesterday was my first day back on the wagon also. I exercised all summer, but didn't eat right, so I haven't gained much, but I know it is time to get back to work, I have 35 to 40 pounds more to go, am going low carb for 2 weeks, and then easing back into the healthy ones, seems to help jump start my metabolism if I ease off the carbs for a couple of weeks. Good luck to everyone!! I think we're in the best place possible. |

I'm in. I've been at this since October of last year, lost 35 pounds, and although I've kept it off, I can't seem to get the ambition to do it again!! That's what I'd like to lose, 35 more, at least!! Friday weigh ins are good for me, I usually do fine during the week, it's the weekends that screw me up, royally!! If you've lost 26 pounds, then I would say "YOU WIN!!!" Be proud of your accomplishments, and move on, another week or two and you will lose the other 4, Set a new goal, maybe by July 31st you will have lost the other 4, but don't give up!!! I'm proud of you!!!! |

Thank you so much for all of the good advice, I do appreciate it!! I really have a hard time understanding, when you are building muscle, when does the fat loss happen? I think I may try running aoifek, I used to do that, but switched to aerobics instead, your pictures are amazing!!!! You are doing a wonderful job!! You must be so proud of yourself!! How far do you run, or how long, per day? I'll keep it up, I have just been at a standstill for a couple of months, and I need a boost!! |

Hello Jason, nice to meet you!! I have the same sort of background with diets, lose weight, feel great, gain it back-and then some!! I have tried every diet out there, and there really isn't a magic pill-such a shame!! Thirty isn't so bad, wait until you turn 40!!!! Realistically though, what are your options? It REALLY is only a number, everyone has to turn 30 at some point, unless they croak, right??? Just wanted to say hello and welcome you to CC--good luck on your journey!! |

Hey there!! Sorry I haven't posted before now-my father-in-law passed away last week, not sure how this weeks weigh in will be, you know how it goes with funerals, it seems like all you do is eat-and exercise isn't easy to get in when you have company-and showings, etc. Anyway, back on track Saturday, worked out, going to do it tonight also, and hope for the best tomorrow, I hope I don't GAIN, that would be horrible!!! Until tomorrow. . . . |

I use Slimfast, usually twice a day, I eat a healthy lunch though, because I go to Jazzercise right after work. I don't get home until around 8:30, so I use Slimfast as my dinner also. I have lost 30 pounds, but am much easier on myself on the weekends than during the week. I also have snacks (I try to keep those healthy also) every 2 hours. It seems to be working for me so far. . . . Good luck to you!! |
