He also said if your doctor would not give it to you, find a new doctor. That is the point that I stopped reading. Up until that point, I was reading out of morbid curiosity. |

Shopping in any store I want & finding clothes that fit. wearing pretty summer dresses. shorts again! I'm sick of wearing pants in August just because I'm self-conscious. No more control top nylons.

| It helps me to stop before I eat anything and ask myself if I am hungry or just bored. Sometimes just calling attention the fact that I am munching for no reason, will make me rethink doing it. I have a weakness for Doritos & Oprah. Sometimes nothing helps, and I just want to munch. When that happens, I try to munch something reasonably healthy so that I won't regret it later. It also helps me to put my snack in a bowl. If I eat anything right out of the bag/box it comes in, it is much harder to be good. | |||

| Thanks everyone! I like the idea of saving a few calories for an evening snack, which is actually what I have been doing. I am glad to know that it doesn't matter when the calories are consumed. I have also found that skim milk is just as filling and doesn't taste bad at all. Sleeping is important to me, because I have some health issues, and I tend to be in much more pain if I am up all night. It may not be the best habit, but I have made a lot of changes so far. I want to make changes that I know I can stick with so that I don't give up. Someone suggested veggie soup, which is a great idea. It gives that warm tummy feeling that usually is good for sleep.
