fruitlover- maybe making your breakfast bigger would help spread out your calories, i typically eat about a 500 cal breakfast..maybe more breakfast- oatmeal made with 1 cup whole milk, cinnamon, 1 banana mashed in, banana larabar crumbled on top, with some slivered almond, 12 oz coffee with 2 T half and half, 1/2 cup milk, and 2 tsp sugar; 2 veggie sausage patties snack- strawberry fortify plus, other half of banana larabar, 8 oz 2% greek yogurt, 1 T honey, 2 T crushed cashews lunch- 1 cup brocolli with cheese, 1 cup bell peppers with hummus, thick bread 2 slices, with 2 oz turkey slices, 2 pieces of cheese, 1 T wasabi mayo, glass of strawberry milk snack-yogurt shack- medium yogurt w/ granola and fresh fruit dinner- 1 baked potato with cheese, sour cream, and chives, 3 oz chicken breast cooked in olive oil, 1 cup of corn, 1/2 cup zucchini snack- 1/2 cup trail mix, hot chocolate with mini marshmellows calories= ??? no idea but i am guessing quite a bit! |

agru+everyone that posted above---corn is a carb, at least in treatment, we count it as a starch (: and it looks like she has a lot of proteins with all the PB+trail mixx due to a 5lb weight loss, im back for some more gaining! my dietician has upped my meal plan considerably.... breakfast- oatmeal with 1/2 cup chopped apple, 1/2 apple larabar, 1/2 cup whole milk, with a banana and 2T sunbutter on the side, 12 oz coffee with 1/2 cup milk, 2T half and half snack- 1/2 cup of trail roasted almond trail mix, ensure plus lunch- 7 oz 2% fage w/ honey and granola, 1 cup snap peas, 1 cup bell pepper, 2/3 cup hummus, 1/2 cup edamame, 1/2 larabar, 6 almonds, cheese stick ...weird lunch but it matches my exchanges and i believe it's around 750 cals snack- 8 oz yogurt, 1/3 cup granola, 1 cup juice dinner- grilled mushroom panini with cheese and pesto sauce, asparagus, side of 3oz chicken cooked in olive oil, pudding cup snack- more oatmeal! this time with 1/2 cup pumpkin, 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup almond slivers, 1tsp cinnamon & 1/4 tsp nutmeg & allspice

breakfast- 45g oatmeal cooked in full fat milk 1/2 cup, 1/2 cup pureed pumpkin, 1/4 tsp each of nutmeg, all spice, and cinnamon. 2 tbsp sunflower seeds, one banana with 2 tbsp sunbutter on it, cup of 8oz strawberry milk snack- cashew cookie larabar with an apple and large vanilla latte lunch- veggie couscous burrito, 1 cup cooked brocolli, 1/3 cup hummus, fortify plus, handful of almonds snack- full fat greek yogurt with honey, some candied walnuts, whole wheat blueberry muffin- mini dinner- 8 oz scallops on a bed of 8oz buttered noodles, asparagus, fortify plus snack- giant frozen yogurt- large size with granola and mango toppings yum! |

i have a question, i am 5'6'' and 119 pounds, if i am maintaining on 2500 calories, does that mean i should be gaining more? or should i just maintain? yesterday: b-oatmeal made w/ 1% milk, almond butter and banana slices "sandwhiches" s-venti soy milk vanilla latte, lollypop l-chicken salad with asian vinagarette(2 cups mixed greens and 1 cup brocolli slaw, 2 oz chicken,3 tbsp dressing), honey nut cheerios cereal bar(a fear food!) string cheese stick s-small blueberry pomegrante yogurt with blueberries from golden spoon yum! d-butternut squash rissoto(sp?) with chicken s-oatmeal made with 1% milk, dried blueberries, 2 lollypops |

i'm in an outpatient program so i go there from 12-8pm. before going, i usually eat, do light exercise, clean, homework...walk the dog..listen to music...relax. sometimes pilates or yoga is calming. on the weekends though i am usually with friends or family, running errands, etc etc |

they have apple pie ice cream out too, as well as a bunch of other seasonal flavors, i'm going to have to go get some pumpkin ice cream tho :) breakfast- oatmeal made w/ 2% milk, banana w/ almond butter snack-lollypop, 1/2 larabar lunch-2% fage yogurt w/ honey, cashew butter and jelly sandwhich, salad with poppyseed dressing snack- 1300 calorie blueberry shake, 1/2 lunabar, dried blueberries dinner- 3oz turkey, mashed potatoes w/ smart balance, cup of green beans snack- oatmeal made with 1% milk, walnuts, dried blueberries, scoop of cashew butter got all of my exchanges in today :) |

although i have reached 120 pounds i keep flucuating and losing weight even though i am eating 3500 calories and NO exercise..my dietician still has me on a weight gain diet, so i'll keep posting here.. breakfast- veggie sausage patty, banana, almond butter, oatmeal made with a cup of 2% milk snack- my 500 calorie shake- 1 cup ice cream, 1 cup 2% milk, 1 cup blueberries, 2 tablespoons cashew butter lunch- 2 cups lettuce/cabbage, 1 tbsp ranch, cashew butter and jelly sandwhich, 1/2 larabar, fage 2% yogurt w/ honey dinner-6 pieces of brown rice sushi, edamame, 4 shrimp, fortify plus snack- oatmeal made with 2% milk, candied walnuts, fruit juice

yesterday: -pumpkin pancakes, banana, almond butter, walnuts -greek yogurt with dried blueberries -1/2 1300 cal shake, PB&J, salad w/ dressing, another greek yogurt -half granola bar, dried blueberries again! -other half of shake, 1/2 pita, salad with dressing, 3 oz chicken, yogurt -oatmeal, some chocolate even tho ED told me no since i had already met my exchanges total based on exchanges is 3300 calories |

I just want you to know that recovery from Bulimia is possible, message me if you need any support (: I live by: Do the next right thing. so maybe you messed up by b/p but you can do the next right thing by moving on and just keep on going and eating like normal. hope that helps! |

weird day, i woke up at 5am because of hunger pains! so i ate breakfast even though my ED told me not to ;) breakfast 1/2 banana, 1/8 cup dried blueberries, 1 T almond butter, oatmeal, veggie sausage patty snack 12 oz vanilla latte lunch 1/2 pita filled with egg salad made with 1 T poppyseed dressing, 1 cup greek yogurt with 1/4 cup granola, 1 cup of brocolli and carrot mix snack 1300 calorie shake, 1/4 cup dried blueberries, 6 nilla wafers dinner 5 taquitos, 2 T guacamole, 2 cups salad, 1 T dressing snack oatmeal, 5 almonds, 1/8 cup dried dates |

tessa- thank you for the advice, you are right. today i restricted my snacks and felt AWFUL. i had obsessive food thoughts all day and it was ridiculous. so then i made up for it with my night time snack and i feel much better and decided i just really need to follow my meal plan...weighing less wont make me happier, i just need to find BALANCE. bsh- i agree with you, thanks for the advice. jcl76- very reassuring! if only they would let me exercise :/ hah but you are definetely very in shape and i wouldnt feel bad pushing my weight if i looked as good as that. thanks for the insight! |

yes, i am in a day program from 12-8pm...i guess it's just really tough to trust my nutritionist because she is nearly obese. and that's not my ED mind, she will even admit she is..and that doesn't make her a bad person, that's not what i am trying to say, it's just she's in charge of my health and yet she doesn't take care of herself?! i know it's wrong to try and control my weight while i am in recovery, really wrong, and i have talked with them numerous times about this but i dunno, i can't handle going above 115 for some reason and i am already 118 and then they make me drink weight gain shakes and i just want to cry. it sounds soo stupid i know, and it's not my thinking it's my eating disorder talking...i guess deep down i am just hoping i can just get out of this center and lose weight again to what i want to weigh. because at 115 i felt better than ever, and i dont see why we have to keep pushing my weight. ahh so frusterating, mostly with myself. |

I'm going to start off by saying I kicked ED's butt today :) breakfast oatmeal made with milk, banana, almond butter, veggie sausage patty snack 1200 calorie shake (recipe posted earlier) lunch english muffin with PB&J, brocolli, carrots, snap peas and poppyseed dressing snack oatmeal with some dried blueberries dinner pre-made salad with mixed greens, cranberries, yellow raisons, apple slices, chicken, sunflower seeds, and zesty poppyseed dressing...some yams and a pudding snack an unmeasured bowl of ice cream! also had some candy at sweet factory at the mall! AND i went jeans shopping today and didnt even have a breakdown when i had to buy jeans 2 SIZES BIGGER than my ED weight! they look great, theyre comfortable, and im happy with what i bought. hope everyone is doing well (: |

i made this weight gaining shake yesterday and it was so good, way better than my supplement shake for sure! it was: 2 scoops of muscle milk protein powder (350) 3 tbsp peanut butter (270) 1/2 banana (60) 1 cup of blueberries (100) 1 tbsp flax oil (120) 1 cup of milk (130) 1 cup of vanilla ice cream (200) total = 1230 calories it sounds like a weird combo, but it was really good and a really easy way to get those calories in without eating a lot of foods (: |

i wasnt saying i thought those weights were overweight...i was just thinking i needed to be taller to be those weights. right now i am at 118, i think they want me to be 120ish. which i have told my treatment team over and over again that if they make me gain that much i'm probably just going to lose weight when i leave, and i know that is a horrible way of thinking so i am going to try to work towards trusting the process... ive heard the thing about the skeleton, i looked at it as someone at their lowest point asking for help in recovery, but i see how that could look bad, so i changed it. thanks for the advice (: |

breakfast- 1 piece of homemade coffee cake, 1 egg, 1 peach, 1 glass of 2% milk snack- 1300 calorie shake(Benacalorie, Carnation Instant Breakfast, 2 scoops vanilla protein powder, 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream, and 1 cup of frozen berries) and dried blueberries lunch- PB and honey on wheat, side salad with poppyseed dressing snack- dessert challenge! sugar cookie "pizza" topped with berries on top of white icing, tbsp of nutella dinner- veggie burger with tomato and lettuce, corn on the side snack- oatmeal, 4 candied walnuts they upped my meal plan tomorrow and so i will see how that goes tomorrow morning! and NO MORE EXERCISE for a few weeks!

IM GOING BACK TO RESIDENTIAL CARE :( somehow i managed to LOSE weight eating over 2500 calories a day, that's insane! yesterday: breakfast pecans, almonds, greek yogurt w/ blueberries, honey, and granola, homemade pumpkin bread :) snack strawberry fortify plus lunch half pita, egg salad made with poppyseed dressing, bell pepper, celery, hummus, grapefruit yogurt snack 1400 calorie shake! dried blueberries dinner tuna casserole :P side salad with ranch snack tart and chai frozen yogurt loaded with strawberries, granola, and yogurt chips!

today was my "PIZZA CHALLENGE" day at treatment, and a challenge would be an understatement, but i still did it! breakfast- oatmeal made with milk, strawberry milk, banana with sunbutter snack- 1/2 cup ice cream lunch- 2 slices digorno cheese pizza, 2 cups salad with 1 tbsp poppyseed dressing, pudding snack- 1300 calorie shake, dried blueberries dinner- homemade cheeseless pizza: one with sausage & bell pepper, the other with chicken, onion, and mushroom, 2 cups salad, with 1 tbsp caesar dressing snack- OJ with fiber |

breakfast after yoga and pilates- apple pancakes with sunbutter, strawberry milk, half an apple snack- banana, vanilla latte with an added shot lunch- PB and J, fage 0% yogurt with honey, spinach and mixed greens salad, poppyseed dressing snack- original peanut butter moo'd smoothie (770 calories) dinner- scallops with shell pasta, asparagus snack- oatmeal, dried blueberries, fortify plus today was my 1st day outside residential eating all my meals, it was a bit difficult especially when i was not at my house, but i stuck to my exchanges and even managed to get close to the calories of my shake in with the fortify and smoothie :) |
