Hi everyone, i wanted to share some of my new favorite lunches. they really fill me up, taste delicious and keep me satisfied for at least 3 hours and then i can munch on a peach or yogurt to tie me over until dinner. I bought oroweat whole wheat bread and have a slice of that (100 cal) with canned chicken breast (half can) mixed up with 2 tbsp light mayonnaise from Best Foods (1tbsp has 35 cal). On the side i slice 5 cherry tomatos in half and put a little salt on it. The other lunch i do often now is a slice of the bread (100 cal) with lowfat cottage cheese (Alta Dena 2%, 1/2 cup is 100 cals) and put some chives on top and salt and pepper and with it also cherry tomatos or fresh raw cucumber. Its fresh and delicious and really low-cal but healthy. for breakfast i usually eat muesli (with 2% milk its usually about 350 cals), but lately i've been eating a General Mills fiber one bar with chocolate & oats and its soooo tasty at 140 cals. With that i have my coffee with 2% and some sugar (bad, i know) and some fruit. only problem for me is the time after work until bedtime. i never seem to eat before at least 7:30pm and when we eat out i cant control myself always either. any tips?
Keep up the good work, everybody!! |

Hi Everyone.
I'm in too. I am from Germany and after coming here for a year as an au pair in 1998 i went from 118lbs to 145lbs. Just all this yummy food.I went back home and lost a bunch just by eating normal again. I moved here in 2000 and was able to keep my weight at 132 for 4 years. I got pregnant in 2005 and gained 47lbs during my pregnancy, going up to 190lbs. Right now i am at 149 but my boobs are huge and i've got some back rolls that i would like to get rid of. I just want to learn to control my eating and stay motivated to do fitness regularly. I think weighing in every Thursday is a good idea.
Here my stats: CW: 149lbs GW: 125-130lbs My biggest challenge is eating before 7pm and cutting out the sweet stuff. I have an extreme sweet tooth, so much even that they thought i had pregnancy diabetes when i was pregnant with my son. It was just high blood sugar from eating too much chocolate. thankfully. But that's basically my biggest vice.
I work out 5-6 times a week. I run on the treadmill for 3 miles, work on the elliptical machine for 40 minutes or take an hour class of kickboxing.
When i exercise in the morning, i try and eat a cereal bar 30 minutes before working out. That usually gives me enough energy and has been digested enough to not give me side cramps. Good luck, everyone |

Hi There. If you have the package with all the nutrition data, you can add a new food item in the food log menu. It says you can add food items 2 ways, either by browsing their list or by #2 adding your own. 2 If you know the calorie content for a particular food, add it here using a small form. Hope that helps. :) |

I usually go running if i dont want to go to the gym. We have a track nearby from a school and in the mornings and later evenings its empty and i can track my distance better than just by running on the street. plus its better for your joints. Running is a great cardio workout and always helps me destress as well. Good luck! |
