I'm 5'1" 188 pounds and i just started seeing a guy who thinks i'm beautiful just as i am. He's happy that I want to get healthy for myself but he truely thinks i'm beautiful. (and he doesnt even wear glasses! lol)

I'm sorry to hear that this guy was such a jerk after a year. In time, you may realize other things he did and said while you were together to undermine your confidence. He probably has low self esteem and needs someone really hot to make him feel better. its a shame he didnt realize what he had in you.

Remember, the ones that make you cry aren't worth it, and the ones that are worth, won't make you cry.

Can i ask how old you are? Height etc? 1200 calories shouldnt be the max for anyone unless you are older and very sedentary (doesnt sound like you if you are exercising). I'm not an expert in eating disorders in any way shape or form, but from what i've read and heard, binging can occur from prolonged over restriction of calories. Basically, if you arent giving your body enough calories on a daily basis, your brain can tune out and you'll just eat. *please please anyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong here*. Also, i've noticed that i truely do lose more weight if i eat an appropriate amount of calories for my age, height, and weight. When i cut down to 1200 calories, i'm more likely to not lose weight as fast than if i eat 1400. Just my 2 cents.

It's one candy bar out of your life. You enjoyed it. Don't stress about it. Eat healthy the next day! The whole point of a sustainable lifestyle is to be able to have a treat now and then. Otherwise, whats the point? lol

Try Mrs. Dash's seasonings. The italian is really good on pork and chicken and they make one specifically for chicken and one for beef. Lemon Pepper is always good on chicken. A good italian dressing marinade is always tasty.

I've lost 83 pounds in 11 months with no exercise. i started at 277 and i'm at 193ish now. I'm sure exercise would be better for me but i'm not a huge fan yet. i'm working on it lol! Happy holidays!

Congratulations everyone!

i started my weight loss in january of 2008 at 277 pounds and I'm currently at 193.6 for a total loss of 83.4 pounds!! I'm at my lowest weight in 12 years!!! Its been a learning process for me but one that i've enjoyed. my entire family eats healthier now! I'm coming up on my one year date and i'm hoping to have lost 90 pounds by then. I cant wait to see what the next year brings with weight loss. Every month is something new and exciting even with all the hard work!

I've lost 82 pounds and i had a similar situation happen with a friend of mine who pretty much asked if i was anorexic then wondered if i was bulimic. I've never had an eating disorder and I eat 1500-1600 calories every day and eat healthy food. I think people just don't understand how you can look at a plate of cookies and not have to have several.

Don't worry about it! Just keep eating healthy and doing what you're doing! good job!

I can't help you with the binge eating but CAN help you with the email thing. If you click on a persons screenname in their post, it takes you to their profile. towards the right side in the box is a little envelope that says send message. this will allow you to email someone privately through calorie count and then you can exchange private emails or just use calorie count's email. 2008 has been a fantastic year for me. I started my journey January 27, 2008 at 277 pounds. I'm currently at 194.2 pounds for a total loss of 82.8 pounds! Not only have I lost weight, I've also learned to eat healthy and have taught my kids to eat healthy. We do more things together than we ever have and are happier. I no longer have issues with ibs now that i've changed my eating habits and I'm not tired like I used to be.

My goal for 2009 is to get to a healthy BMI, somewhere around 130 pounds depending (i'm 5'1"). I hope next year is as good as this year has been!

i agree with the op totally. I've been thinking a lot about this lately. As i've lost weight i've noticed i feel bony in some spots already. I'm not real thrilled with that. I have a long way to go still. I'm at 195. CC says I should be 130ish. I'm thinking that will be too thin. I'm just going to wait and see when i get there but i definitely think curves are sexy!

I've lost 81.8 pounds since January 27, 2008. I started at 277 and i'm at 195.2. I'm hoping to be at 190 by Christmas day! In the beginning i lost around 3-4 pounds per week. Now i lose 1-2 pounds per week.  i agree with one of the above posters. This isn't a diet. it's a lifestyle change. Good luck!

i had a normal calorie day yesterday. I'm just not a big fan of pie i guess lol. Today is a new low weight got me, 195.4 so i'm pretty happy about that!

I like taking a Thomas's light multi grain english muffin and spreading a little peanut butter on it. Then i put sliced banana, a little drizzle of honey, and some sunflower seeds on it. This keeps me full for a long time for around 400 calories.

unfortunately there isnt anything you can do to stop your breasts from shrinking. they are fat and eventually you lose there too. I wish we could choose where to lose weight because i wouldnt mind losing some of my boobs or donating it to the less boobily fortunate :P. I'm a ddd and i'm dying to get to a DD or a D and buy a bra at a regular store!

ok i'm a little embarrassed to admit this but....i know for a fact that the bun doesn't mold. I once found 3/4 of a burger under the seat in my car. I know it was at least 4 months old, probably older lol. It looked just like the pic she had. it DOESN'T mold, it doesn't rot, and it doesnt smell. it just gets hard and looks exactly the same.
