I think you look fantastic!

My addition to this thread is this: At my lowest weight during the weight loss process, I really did have a change in mood.  I was irritable all of the time, and mean.  For some reason, not having enough nutrition each day made me really cranky and angry all of the time.  I'm not saying that this is what your mom meant or this is what is happening to you.  I guess my addition to this conversation is that I wish I had known that this would happen, Iand  would have tried harder to control my anger since it was coming from the dieting, and not from reality.  Now that I am trying to level off and maintain, I am also trying to repair some of these strained relationships.  Its possible, but it was easier to cause the strain than to repair it.

Hope that helps

I think the final solutions are:

1. don't take food with you.  harder to do than say, but I think this is probably the best for me.

2. if necessary, chew gum.  Coffee is probably a bad idea, once I get into the coffee shop, i'll buy a snack to eat in the car.

3. keep both hands on the wheel and occupy yourself with singing/music

4. clean your car and start fresh.

Thanks everyone!
