Funny enough, I don't have any pics currently....but some were taken at my bachelorette party this past weekend...I'll have to get a hold of my BFF that took them and have her email them to me. I'll try though Dalma.

Sneaking in...HI EVERYBODY!!!!

So the wedding countdown continues....19 days left till the big day!!!! Oh I can't even tell you all how excited I am!

I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to get in here for quite some time and give you all updates! I'm going to be honest, I'm not even going to try to read all previous posts back to the last time I posted..I'd be here for weeks!!!

The stress of planning a wedding is ridiculous!!! But I haven't really gained any weight...maybe .6 lbs but it's been going up and down the last few months. I have managed to lose 12.25" since I started going to Curves at the end of February! AND I STILL LOVE GOING THERE!!! Just wish I didn't have so much wedding stuff to do lately that keeps me from going there on a daily basis.

How are you all doing?? It's been way too long!!!

Hope all is well!

*HUGS*

sweepie - how goes the wedding plans?  how goes the weight loss DURING the wedding plans?  haven't seen you post in FOREVER.

I know, I've been really bad about getting in here in a very scarce free moment and posting. Wedding plans are going ok. I've made an appt for the guys to get measured for their tuxes this Saturday. One more thing to check off of the list. Thought we had our invitations done...then a few people that we didn't have addresses for but were on our list popped up...OOPS!!!! Gotta get some more done. *sigh* it's a never ending saga it seems! I tried my dress on 2 weeks ago...still fits perfectly. As for the weight loss...I haven't really lost weight, more like gained a few pounds...I think from all the stress. But I've lost almost 10" since the end of February when I joined Curves. I'm still going at least 3 days a week...try to push for 4, 5, or even 6 days when I can. But at this point with the craziness of summer plans and the wedding, 3 days is about all I can fit in, which really sucks! Going camping again next weekend...but it's at a friend's house, they're throwing a huge party for the 4th of July...in which they've invited people to camp instead of driving home intoxicated/tired. We've decided to take them up on that offer. Better to be safe than sorry.

In just a few weeks would be Shawn and my 5 year anniversary...I can't believe we've been together that long!!! It doesn't seem like that long some days...but then others it seems like it's been much longer. What can I say...I love him faults and all!!! Yeah he leaves his clothes every where, he doesn't help with household chores all the time, I cook most of the meals, but he still treats me good and takes care of me, and understands me. Plus the big one....accepts me for who I am.

A few weeks ago...I had a huge frustration breakdown with my diet...I hadn't been losing weight and that one day it finally got to me...and Shawn just sat there by my side, let me cry, scream at myself and what not...but he still told me that I was beautiful...and that he didn't care how much I weighed, or what I looked like; he loves me for who I am inside, and that's what matters most. I still get teary eyed when I think about that moment. *grabs a tissue* I guess that's why we're getting married....because we "get" eachother. We push eachother along with our diets/exercise, and are there for eachother when we fall short of what we should be.

I've glanced at a few posts....and noticed that some of you are wondering if you should "give up" what you have because he hasn't asked you to marry him yet or made no signs or even talked about that next step. The best advice that I can give you is to hold on to what you got, unless you absolutely know for sure that you will never marry that person. I can't tell you how many times that I put an ultimatium down to Shawn about us getting married. Heck last summer...I remember it like it was yesterday...we were sitting by the firepit in our backyard...and he had a few beers in him...and I said, "lets go get married tomorrow" he looked at me and said "nah, I don't think so". I was so upset that I went in the house and went to bed and didn't say one thing to him the rest of the night. I told him about it the next day because he didn't remember anything about it, and I told him that what he said hurt me, and that I was tired of holding on to a relationship that wasn't going anywhere. He flat out told me that he doesn't want to feel pressured, and every time that I bring it up, it pushes his further away from wanting to ever get married. Then in November when he proposed to me, I found out that he's had it in his head since SPRING TIME to ask me around Thanksgiving or Christmas!!!! The only people that knew were his parents, my parents and my sister & brother in law!!! He kept it a secret, and they did too so fricken well....I thought for sure I would have picked up on something strange going on, but I never did. So don't doubt your man....your time will come. That's the key...a real relationship needs time to grow and prosper. Just like a flower planted from a seed, you need to take care of it for it to grow. Without love and strong will, the flower will die...just like any relationship/friendship. Everything takes work for it to get where you want it to be. Your man might need that time to grow himself. Just don't give up if he hasn't asked you to marry him within the first few years of dating. If you would have asked me 3 years ago if Shawn and I were going to get married...I would have laughed!!! Not because I didn't want to marry him, but because he and I have already had that talk...and he flat out told me that he DIDN'T want to get married. I gave it time, and waited patiently...impatiently at times, and now we are getting married. I still don't believe that it's happening yet, but I've been told that that's normal...I won't believe it until the day of or the night before the wedding. So, bottom line...give it time. Rome wasn't built in 1 day! The best marriages are ones that the couple are together for a while before the marriage takes place. It gives each person plenty of time to get to know the other inside and out and see what they are truly like before taking a huge step.

Sorry, I'm rambling on.....sorry for the long post.

Miss you girls!!! Have a great day!

PS. ASH, sorry to hear that you got sun burnt really bad...hope you feel better soon. You may have gotten sun poisoning, be careful! Don't put aloe on it though, it holds the heat in and takes it longer to heal. Get some shea or cocoa butter lotion, that'll help with keeping your skin moist and not peeling. But for soothing...make a pot (a sauce pot, not a tea pot) or herbal tea, any kind...let it cool, and then take a towel and soak up some of the tea and then lightly ring out the excess, and then place on your burns...it'll help draw the heat out of the burn and makes it seem not as bad. Leave tea-soaked towel on until you feel the towel getting warm, and repeat as long as you want. Helps it heal too. Shawn's mom did this to me when we went camping a few summers ago and I got super burnt on a long walk to the beach/nature walk at a state park campground/lodge/resort by lake Erie.

sweepie Did somebody say wedding?! Did I miss an engagment?!

Well, Shapie...I'm not sure if you missed it or not, but I'll give ya a quick recap....

Shawn proposed to me the day before my birthday in November (1 week before Thanksgiving). We're planning a Sept. 19th wedding this year. I'm about to pull my hair out with all of this wedding stress...and work stress. The special day just can't get here quick enough. Colors are Wine & Champagne. I'm excited to have my sister, brother-in-law, niece as part of the wedding party, along with 2 of my bffs! Shawn has his best friend as his best man, which is married to one of my bffs that's in the wedding. And our other groomsman is dating my other bff in the wedding party. It's going to be so much fun!  Just have little things to worry about...centerpieces, table favors, getting the license, and all the other legal stuff straightened out.

Sorry I've been out of the forum lately..things have been just too busy with the wedding stuff, work, and gardening at home.

I did manage to fall asleep in our pool saturday and got really sunburnt. :( But on the good note...now I don't have to pay to go tanning! lol

Once the wedding is done, I'll post pics on my facebook/myspace...

*quietly sneaks in* Hi everybody!! Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I didn't forget about you guys! I've just flat out been to busy to check in.

I scanned a few of the posts today, then just decided to say "f it!" and just post something quick!

I really miss you guys. This darn wedding can't get here soon enough! I'll be glad when it's here and I have some time to get back into things and stop stressing about the little crap!

89 days & counting...can you tell I'm getting anxious?!?!?

I try to get on facebook & myspace here and there...which I find myself on there more often than I am on here...probably b/c it's easier to communicate with some of my bridal party that live in Alaska. Look me up/add me on there....facebook : Kristin Levandoski   www.myspace.com/mskristin1982

I need to get back to work before I get in trouble!

Hope you all are doing well. *hugs*

Miss you guys terribly!

Wow! It's been a while since I "checked in". I really miss you girls!!! I don't like being this busy...constantly!

I decided to join in a study through Curves and Avon...started yesterday. So I had to get measured and weighed...again...and what do you know...I've lost another 2 lbs...and 1.25 inches! For a total of 7 inches lost and 4 lbs down!! How exciting is that?!

The wedding stuff is going ok. We are meeting with the caterer tomorrow to finalize the menu. OH THE FUN! LOL We changed the colors of our wedding to Wine & Champagne from Marine & Silver. The new colors look so much better with the tux style we picked out. Plus it'll look better with the fall decor to. Is it September yet?!

Last week I was sick with a sinus infection...that really sucked. I couldn't go to Curves for 3 days!!!! I was so bummed!

Hope everybody is doing well...there's just too much for me to try and catch up on. *hugs* miss you guys alot!

Well, just as I thought...they aren't done firing at work...they fired another girl today...another one of my friends. GRR!!! I still don't think that they are done. I'm really starting to wonder if I'm next. She got caught using the internet for personal stuff on company time....so therefore I will be more cautious of my own stuff that I do, and not get online at work anymore. I will try to post in the evenings after my workouts, but I think even then will be hard to do. With so much to do around here when I get home (shower, house chores, soon yard/garden work, taking care of the dogs, making dinner) all before 10:00 bedtime! I'm going to be worn thin! Maybe that'll be a good thing.

But I caved this evening for dinner....the stress finally got to me...had mac & cheese for dinner...the whole box of kraft!!!! I couldn't believe it!!! Then I had some icecream....sugar free reduced fat turtle sundae....and Shawn made me a mixed drink...hell I don't even know what to call it....it was Capt. Morgan & diet Cherry 7Up. How I managed to stay on my diet and work outs during this whole month I have no idea. THe motivation was, still is there, but today I just couldn't push myself hard enough. Too many things on my mind.

I'm such a mess. Really stressing about possibly losing my job...I'm so scared. There is no way possible that Shawn and I could pay our bills with just one income. I doubt I'll get any sleep tonight.

On a bright note...grandma comes home from the hospital tomorrow. I think she'll still have to go in every so often for her therapy, but at least she'll be at home, where she likes it and is comfortable.

Thanks for all the good words about my loss of pounds, and about grandma, and my friend's husband.

Time to get ready for bed. G'nite ladies.

*hugs*

Hey everybody!!

What a crazy month this has been!!! Quick update:

3-12-09 Shawn's grandma fell down some stairs at her home and broke her hip. Had partial hip replacement

3-13-09 Hospital coded grandma Blue after she passed out from getting up and taking two steps. Left work @ noon thirty to be there with the family. Went to the hospital everyday, all weekend...exhausting weekend worrying about Grandma.

3-21-09 Went wedding stuff shopping with my mom and step mom...and my mom was driving me crazy!! We did get a few things accomplished though. I really can't wait till this is all over with!

3-24-09 One of my best friend's husband lost his battle with cancer at the age of 27.

3-26-09 The company I work for has decided to downsize and let go 9 people!!! One of them included one of my bridesmaids...and is also one of my best friends. Luckily, I wasn't one of them, but I don't think they are done "cleaning house" yet.

3-28-09 Went to Curves for my usual work out...got measured for the first time since I joined (they measure you after each month so you can see your progress) and the results....*drum rolls*.... (According to their scale) I've lost 2 lbs and 5.75 inches off my total body. Most of my inches were lost in my ab area...which I'm so happy about! All this in only 15 visits as of Saturday!!! I've also been doing their weight management program to "reset my metabolism" and get myself to eat even better and be more aware of what I'm eating and how much of it. It really helps.

Hope you all are doing well. Happy Monday!

watchme: the wedding plans are going great. Just about all done, I hope!!! My step-mom, mom, and bridesmaid Carolyn are already planning the wedding shower!! I can't wait. I'm so excited!

Another update, I signed up for Curves officially on Friday of last week. I weighed in on Monday when I got there....250lbs...EEK!!! Worked out hard all week long. Managed to get there 5 times last week. Tuesday morning I weighed myself before getting in the shower...scale said 248.5.....plus it was my TOM week, so that may have a lot to do with the weight gain. I weighed myself this morning....242. So I may just jump on the scale at Curves tonight and see what it says. Had a greek salad for lunch. I love those!! YUMMY

Gotta go. Time to get my butt to Curves!

Miss you girls! Love ya! Kiss

Great news ladies!!!! The "BAD" gym cancelled my membership...no questions asked, and no termination fee to pay either!!! YAY!!! I couldn't be happier!

I'm going to sign up with Curves this week. I stayed there about 40 minutes last night, worked up a really good sweat about halfway through my first circuit. Did 3 full circuits last night and felt great about it. I think I may do a full 3 all this week and then gradually work my way up to 4-5 circuits and see how that feels. Wouldn't that be great if I could "cut" my wedding dress in half by September?!?!?! They say it's doable if I keep at it and work hard at it.

Jambalaya last night was so good.

I'm going to lunch with some of the girls from work today...going out for Mexican...may treat this as my "cheat" day, but we'll see what I'm hungry for around lunch time. If I over do it at lunch, I'll just have some simple fat free popcorn for dinner. :)

Happy Hump Day ladies!!!

sweepie Glad you liked Curves! When I went with my Mom one day it wasn't really my cup of tea and all the ladies at the one near me were all really old...well, not all of them but they were easily all 40+ and it just wasn't my kind of atmosphere. But I'm really happy that your's has such a time-flying atmosphere, that's wonderful!

The ladies that were in there last night, some of them old...like old old..lol, but some of them mid 40s, and some of them about my age. It was a nice change of pace, since it wasn't the snotty "rich" ladies that belong to the gym that I'm trying to get away from. Which I have to call and speak with the manager tomorrow morning before 11:30 when he leaves...should be fun trying to get out of my contract! I will state my case, and fight to the bitter end though!

Happy b-day Fayny!!! Sorry I forgot to put it in earlier. silly me!

So I went to Curves last night and absolutely loved it! I can't wait to go back tonight. I still haven't heard from the other gym yet on what they've decided to do with my contract. I really hope they will cancel it for me since it wasn't what I signed up for. But Curves said they are willing to work with me throughout the ordeal. I get a 2 week membership for free and they said if I need more time, they'll give me more time to get things worked out. I'm so happy about that. I love the atmosphere there. The ladies that work there are so wonderful. They play good music too and time just flys on by! I got there at 5:10 last night and didn't leave until 6:50!!!! It didn't even seem like I was there that long. Though at the other gym, time just drug on like it was never going to end! They said my goal of 140lbs (down 110 lbs) is totally doable! I'm so excited! I can really see myself enjoying this. The best part of it is the sign up fee ($74) is truly a ONE TIME charge. I can cancel my membership whenever I want to, and if I decide to rejoin, I don't have to pay that $74 again. :)

Happy Skinny Tuesday ladies! :) I sent Shawn a text this morning wishing him a happy "FAT" Tuesday, and he sent one back wishing me a happy "skinny" Tuesday. Got a giggle out of it. I'm so glad nobody brought in packis in today!!! I have no will power when it comes to those!

I had peanut butter & jelly on wheat for lunch today, oh man was it good!!! I haven't had one in a while. Also had cauliflower bites & baby carrots with cucumber dill dip (fat free of course!). Making jambalya for dinner. OOOHHHH I can't wait!

My mom is coming down for "gardening" shopping and dinner on Friday. We're having tacos. Yummy!

Hope you are all having a great day! Sorry about being "absent" for so long, I found myself in a horrible rut of laziness with exercise & been crazy busy wedding planning to be quite honest about it!

Hey girls!!

HAPPY MONDAY!

I think I may see the light at the end of my co-ed gym problem tunnel!!! I went to a bridal fair this weekend and ended up talking to a few girls from Curves. One of that used to belong to the same gym that I did (before they changed) and she said she was able to get out of her contract because she didn't want to go to the co-ed gym since that's not what she signed up for, and also because the next closest Lifestyles Gym (Ladies only) was more than 25 miles away. Which is out of jurisdiction for us both to go. They stopped withdrawing the monthly payments right away. I wrote to Lifestyles this morning, and they already replied to me saying they would forward my request to cancel to the manager at St. Julian's Fitness (Co-ed gym) and I should follow up with them.

I have an appt. with the lady from Curves tonight to check it out and see what it's like there. I'm so excited. I can't wait. It's all circuit training, and I know that works. I've done it before years ago and managed to lose 57 lbs in 3 months!!! It was great! I toned up my body, and didn't have any lose skin to get rid. I loved it. Went from a 20/22 down to a 12/14. I'll let you girls know what I decide after I go a few days, since they're allowing me to check it out for a week first before I make a commitment. It's a few dollars more for a monthly membership than what I'm paying now, but I see it as, I'd rathter pay the extra few $$ (like $7) to a gym that I know I'll go to, than to waste $23 a month for a gym that I hate going to and find excuses not to go anymore. Do any of you belong to Curves? Or have you tried it? Did/do you like it?

Another huge update...I've started talking to my biological mom again. We haven't spoken since July of 2007...and something inside just told me to call her one day, so I did. We sat down and talked, and apologized for our stubborness, and being idiots. She came down to our place last week for dinner, we had stuffed cabbage rolls..YUMMY I love those things! We've gone up to her place for dinner a few weeks ago too. This past weekend we (her, my step-mom and I) were supposed to go wedding stuff shopping but we postponed it to another weekend because of the crappy weather we had Saturday, ended up getting between 3 & 5 inches of snow in one day...roads were horrible. So we'll try going again in a few weeks when the weather has calmed down (or so we hope). I've put my mom in charge of taking care of the table centerpieces. She's really crafty, and loves to do that sort of thing, so she's really happy about it. We bought our invitation kits this weekend. I can't wait to get started on them, also bought 100 of the Forever postage stamps, I'll buy another 100 next month and then another 100 the following month after that, so I'll be all set for the wedding invitions, reply cards, and also the thank you cards. Trying to get them before the price goes up again... blah!

I've been away for far too long from you girls and miss you all alot! I'm sure there's a lot to catch up on, and I'll try, but being so busy lately, it's been hard enough to eat right. The wedding planning is almost over with...at least I hope so. I've had a horrible cold for over a month now due to lack of sleep, and I can't seem to just kick it. Monster bitchy yesterday because I'm tired of being sick and also TOM is approaching.

Went to the doctor last week, blood pressure is down to normal again (strange because I've been under tons of stress since the 1st of the year), and my weight is up a few pounds, but I tried to justify to my doctor that it's because I've been going to the gym and working out, gaining muscle weight and not fat...clothes have been fitting quite lose around my hips and butt lately. Stomach area is starting to disipate as well.

I hope you all are doing great, and if you're not, I hope that things get better for you soon.

I've missed you all, have a great Monday!

Wow I finally get a moment that I'm not doing something to post...things have just been absolutely crazy at work lately. We had a snow storm come through yesterday afternoon, overnight, and into this morning, so the phones are pretty quiet today, THANK GOODNESS!

anywho...my stats...

I'm 5' 6.5" (told I carry my weight well)

SW:256 (Jan 2006)

CW: 239~243 (seems to be fluctuating a lot lately)

GW: 140 or so, but I think I'll see how 160 feels and looks on me and decide from there.

A little about me: I'm 26, work for a janitorial & packaging supply company. Live in Portage, Ohio (really small town south of Bowling Green, OH). I'm currently engaged and getting married in September (oh gosh I really can't wait any longer!!! Most of the big stuff is taken care of, sitting down with our photographer on Monday evening to decide on a package and pictures that I definitely want to have.) My favorite color is purple. I love all sorts of music. I have 3 hilarious miniture dachshunds. I love them so much, they are our "kids" for now until we decide we want to have an actual child of our own. Last summer it was so hot, we went out and bought a small childrens pool for the little guys. Laughing I know it sounds really silly, but they really enjoyed getting into the pool with us for a cool down. I've been overweight all my life, and tried diet after diet and failed them all...I have a hard time staying away from food. I'm an emotional eater, and I'm stressed 6.5 out of 7 days a week....by the time I finally get unstressed, it's back to work, and it starts all over again. I love to cook, bake, and try new things. I go to the gym as much as I can, even though I don't like the gym I go to, I still try.

I guess that's me.

Welcome to all the new gals, and good luck!

Ash: Good luck with the house, I hope you can get it! :) I remember when Shawn and I bought our house in Dec 2007, it was very frustrating with all the paperwork being sent via snail mail from Ohio to Texas and back instead of Fed-Exing it since it already was on a short time frame. (sent out on Thursday, needed to be signed and back to Ohio by Monday) Needless to say, we had to move out of our place so the new owners could move in, and we had to move into Shawn's parents' house for 2.5 weeks until we could sign the papers on our house and move in. Very frustrating!

Man, lunch break is over...back to work.

Have a great HUMP day ladies!!!

Ally, You look great!!! Love the new pic. :)

I forgot about the on demand channels for a while too...but it helps that sometimes that I get home from the gym before Shawn does, so I can fit 1 or 2 of those work outs in after I get home from doing my workout at the gym. I know that sounds funny....but the gym that I'm forced to go to....I really don't like, and still don't feel comfortable there. But I still go and do the elliptical/treadmill/bike there and also the universal weights and try to fit in some of the free weights too. I'm not too big on getting into one of the classes, I'd rather do it at my own pace, but the on demand work outs are helping with that. So last night I was thinking....and I've decided to get into a routine of going to the gym lets say all week long, but on M-W-F, I stay there the whole time and do my WHOLE work out of cardio warm up, weights, and then cardio cool down. Then on Tues & thurs, I go to the gym and just do my cardio warm up (extra long 45mins -an hour) then go home (5-10 minute drive depending on traffic and lights) and then do the rest of my work out with the on demand channels. And on Saturdays it will be strictly the on demand work out right after I wake up in the morning since Shawn now gets off at noon every Saturday now. I think it'll help keep things changed up enough that I won't get bored, but also I won't be doing that same work outs on the on demand channels either....they change them every month, and there are so many to choose from any ways! The one I really got a laugh out of was Carmen Electra's Strip tease work out....I couldn't stop laughing when I watched it...I even attempted it...for possibly a little surprise for Shawn on our honeymoon???? LOL But not only change up my routine every week, but alternate weeks too...Like Week 1 & 3 I'll go to the gym every day, but do my full work outs there on M-W-F and the on demand workouts on Tues & Thurs, and full work outs on demand on Saturday. Then weeks 2 & 4, it'll be M-W-F partial work out at the gym and then OD workouts at home, and Tues & Thurs will be my full work outs at the gym...Do you think that will work???

Anywho, I'm glad that all of you are doing so well...it seems as though I'm stuck at 242 again....I hope it doesn't last too long before I start seeing some changes in my sizes again. I did the free weights last night at the gym, and I couldn't believe how hard it was for me to do my reps 3 & 4 (sets of 15 each rep) with just a 5lb weight!!! I didn't realize how weak I really was. :(

Going out of town for the weekend for a work meeting thing, so I won't be able to hit the gym, I'll have to make it count tonight at the gym, and definitely again on Monday when I can get back to the gym.

OMG girls, I kicked my own butt last night when I got home. I had to skip lunch yesterday because I was so busy. I can only imagine how behind I would have been if I did take my lunch hour. Anywho, I packed some tuna with a little bit of light mayo and mustard and a little bit of garlic power/onion powder mixed in it to have before I went to the gym last night. Well since I didn't get to eat my soup I had packed for lunch, I quickly ate my tuna stuff between phone calls, emails and looking up stuff for customers. I ended up staying late after 5 last night. Shawn and I planned on having meatloaf for dinner, so I had to skip the gym and go home and put that in the oven. I made some baked fries. YUMMY!!! And while all of that was in the oven baking, and Shawn was at the gym, I decided to scope out the On Demand channels we have with our cable co. I found Exercise on demand...so I browsed through there and found a Tae-Bo 29 minute class thing, so I did that...WOW!!!! I found some muscles that I didn't know that I had. I'm actually kinda excited to try that again. I also found another one that I did after the Tae-Bo, called Bridal ABsession. It was just a 10 minute one, but man I just about killed myself doing it. My mid-section hurts so bad this morning. I'm going to try that one again...and keep doing those on my off days from the gym so I'm still getting my work outs. Or even if I go to the gym to do my cardio work outs on the treadmill, bike, or the elliptical, I'll go home and do the other work outs instead of my strength training with the weights at the gym...kinda have a break from the usual routine every now and then so I don't get bored.

Yet I'm getting discouraged because the scale as begun to go back up. I talked to Shawn's trainer about it, and he said I shouldn't be worried or focused too much with the scale but pay attention more to measurements and how my clothes fit, as it's very possible that I'm builing muscle mass, which is leaner than fat. So I try to keep that in mind when I get on the scale.

Thank you all for the good words. :) I can't wait to wear my dress again. :)

Ally: yeah I had to cancel due to the weather, we got 5 inches of snow just on Friday alone...and then another 3 inches on Saturday. Most of the girls were coming from about 20 miles away, so I needed to think of them, and didn't want them driving in the horrible weather. I'm going to reschedule it though for sometime in February as the rest of this month is booked.

Shawn and I sat in on Saturday night (he got off work early) and made homemade semi-healthy pizza...the only unhealthy things on it were the cheese, crust. While he was at work, I browned up some ground turkey and sprinkled italian seasoning in it for flavor, ended up making it taste like sausage, it was really good. cooked up some turkey bacon and crumbled that up. cut up some green peppers, black olives, mushrooms, and onions. Man that pizza was really good. We cheated with the crust and used the pillsbury pizza crust that you just put onto the pan. Brushed that with olive oil to help make it golden, and then sprinkled a little italian seasoning it for added flavor. We made it onto one of our cookie sheet pans so it was a rectangle pizza (i get tired of round pizza!) so our slices were little squares about 3". Then we got really bad and made some cheesy garlic bread. Used our country crock spread, 1 tsp minced garlic and melted that in the microwave, then brushed it on the crust, and then baked in the oven, and about 5 minutes before it was done, we took it out and topped with cheese...I was so bad this weekend!!!!

I'm up to 241.5...grr...that makes me so mad! It's my own fault though.

We went to a bridal show on Sunday, and were tasting some of the cake samples that they had out so we could get an idea of what kind of cake we would like...I think I had maybe 3 1" squares of cake...but I'm still mad at myself for that. Then went to my parents' house for dinner that afternoon and had pork loin roast, with mixed veggies (unsalted- I hate salt!), and some garlic red potatoes (had some other seasonings on it too). It was so good, I know I had more than what I should have.

But I still went to the gym yesterday and worked out for about 30 minutes, I started getting a headache while I was on the treadmill so I had to stop & skip doing my weights. But Monday morning back to the normal routine, 2 HB eggs & 2 slices of toast for breakfast, progresso light soup for lunch....failed at dinner had 2 slices of left over pizza and 1 small slice of cheesy garlic bread, with 1 cup of milk. Try again tonight...salad for dinner.

Back to the gym after work today, I'm really going to push myself hard tonight. I hope the weather doesn't ruin it though. We're supposed to get more snow today about 1-3 inches and another 2-4 inches tomorrow. BLAH! I actually want to work out so hard that it hurts...I want to feel the burn...no pain, no gain or loss however you see fit. I will do it as a punishment to myself for gaining over the weekend....eventhough I had tons of water to help with the salt (cheese & crust) of the pizza.

Oh Dalma, I was saying the same thing all last year. But this year is going to be different, I can feel it!!! I'm going to beat this I know that I can. I really need to up my exercise though. I'm slacking really bad...I'll try again for a full week next week. This week is already shot...bad snow storm tonight possibly 6-10 inches by morning and then another 2-4 tomorrow afternoon, it's snowing pretty good right now.

Plus tomorrow (may cancel it for now) I'm supposed to have my Mary Kay bridal make over that I won from the bridal show...most of the girls that are attending it live 25 miles north...I don't want to burden them with driving to my house in a snow storm. I guess we'll see what it's like tonight before bed, and how it is in the morning, if it's too bad, I'll definitely cancel it.

I stepped on the scale this morning and....

Drum roll please.......

239.5!!!!!

I was way excited when I saw that this morning...it's Friday...payday...and a good weight day!!! YAY!!!

YAY!!! I'm on the right track again!!! I skipped my HB egg whites & toast this morning and just had some fresh cut fruit (pineapple, melons, grapes & strawberries). I brought a big bowl in to work for a co-workers b-day. I can't stay away from it. It's so yummy.

Had a salad last night with pan grilled chicken last night...oh so yummy!!! greek vinegrette dressing, fresh tomatoes, HB egg whites, and chopped green onions and a few kalamata olives (my fav), washed the salad down with a glass of milk. But had tons of water yesterday to help wash the salt away. And still drinking tons of water this morning.

Happy Friday Ladies!!!!

I'm still alive and kicking ladies!!! This wedding planning is really tiring!!! But I've been trying to get to the gym when I can...seems like 1-3 times a week...things are so hectic. I'm so glad that that holidays are finally over! I hope everybody had a great Christmas and New Year. We had our engagement party on New Years Day...Shawn fried a turkey...man that was awesome!!! I made darn sure to stay away from the dark meat and the skin...I only had the breast meat, which I read is only about 70 cals for 2oz. I had maybe 3-3.5 oz at max, but it was really good!!! The left overs I've been cutting up and putting in my salads for dinner. Oh man things have been great. For breakfast I eat 2 hard boiled eggs (NO YOLK) just the whites, and give the yolk to the dogs, and also have 4 oz of 1% milk (or just a bottle of water), and 2 slices of whole grain wheat toast with 1tsp (between the two pieces) of county crock spread with calcium & vitamins. Then I've been having healthy choice meals for lunch. I love those things!!! Then have the salad for dinner when I get home from the gym or just home from work.

Last Saturday I went dress shopping and found my perfect dress...and funny enough, it's not the dress that I picked out originally. I picked different bridesmaids dresses to, I'll have to get you guys the pictures soon!!!

Shawn has started dieting with me, he wants to bulk up muscle wise, and lose his belly fat. He meets with his trainer (a close family friend who owns a co-ed gym and is the trainer there) 3 times a week to start with and then will get up to meeting with him 6 days a week. He says he's been pretty sore, but I keep telling him to drink more water and eat more proteins. So he's been eating tuna, shrimp, and hard boiled eggs plus his salads too and lots of water (he can't drink plain water, he has to put those flavor packets in them) which is fine. To each their own right?

But in the last week he's gone from 209 to 203.5. In the last week I've gone from 244/245ish to 241. I haven't gained any weight from the holidays...Thank goodness. Somehow I've managed to watch what I ate carefully.

But back to my dress, I tried on 5 dresses total that day, felt good in 2 of them...but my #3 dress was the dress that I chose. I think I tried that one on at least 3 times. The final time coming out of the dressing room, my mom, my future mother in law and one of my bridesmaids started to cry. I looked in the mirror and started to cry a little bit myself. I knew then, that was the dress. We had alot of fun. What's even better (to a point) the dress fit me perfectly....right now it doesn't need any alterations whatsoever. But I do know of a reasonably priced seamstress incase I do need it taken in before the wedding. WAHOO!!!

I then treated them to Applebee's for lunch...I was a bit bad, ordered the smothered chicken...man they really loaded that up with veggies!!! But that's fine, I love veggies. I only had 2 pieces of toast that morning for breakfast and by 2pm I was starving!!! I thought my stomach was going to cave in. Had a light dinner that night....salad with "taco" chicken on it.

I think we're going to come in under budget for our wedding. Still have to price a few things out yet, but so far everything is going great!

Hope you are all doing well. Take care.

I'll try not to stay away so long from now on. I'll keep y'all posted on the weight loss progress.

Thanks to you all for the wonderful comments on the wedding stuff.

I'm still sick...lost my voice about 90% now...funny thing is when I try to talk it sounds like I'm squawking! lol Any who, I've been drinking tons of water and eating soup, and hot tea. Taking medicine and trying to get rest in this busy holiday season. Amazingly enough, I haven't lost any weight while being sick, but I've decided to eat steamed veggies for a few days in a row, no meat, unless it's scrambled egg whites. Hope that'll jumpstart my metabolism soon.

Being sick sure does suck!

We put up our Christmas tree yesterday, it looks beautiful! Already started some christmas shopping on Saturday (I was already at the store to pick up my perscriptions).

Happy Monday girls!
