Weight Loss Milk. May 23 2008

You could also try one of the milks that have come out that are fat free but taste like 2% milk.  I've switched the family over to the "Over the Moon" or "Simply Smart" brands ( which ever is on sale) and we love it.

Just another option as I don't care for skim milk at all.  I don't like the taste.

Hi,

I just wanted to say "Hi".  I started Jan. 29, 2008 @ 240 pounds on my 5'2" frame.

I've been working on my diet and adding in some exercise but not much, really just added walking 3 x a week and doing stretching every morning.  I have just recently added a beginners Yoga class which I LOVE !

I'm currently at 228 pounds, on my way to 135 pounds for total loss of 105 pounds.

I'm planning to buy this for our new WII game console !  Looks like the boxing game might be good for excercize as well, although I'm NOT a boxing fan.

I also noticed that WII is supposed to come out with a "fitness" game some time this year.  It'll be interesting to see what they present us as a fun fitness workout.

Hi !

I'm also new to CC and enjoying my time here !  I'd love to have a support buddie as well.

I'm 44 yo, have two boys and my pets.  I live in NH, which is currently getting a ton of snow this year !!

I started out the end of Jan at 240 pounds, down now to 234.  My goal weight is 145 then I'm going to see how I look and feel to decide if I want to lose more or go on maintaince.

If you think we'd be a good match let me know and we'll get started.

Hi All,

I'm very new to this site, but really love it.  I began at the end of Jan 2008 at 240 pounds.  I'm 5.1" and 44 years old, my current goal is 145 pounds.  Then I'll take a look at how I'm looking and feeling and decide if I should maintain or try for 110 which is my recommended weight.

I'm doing a walking program, stretching and strength building exercises.

I live in the snowy northeast and so walking out side is very hit or miss.

I'm making good changes to my food intake, I'm eating around 1400 calories a day.

Anyhow, wanted to say "hi !"

Hi,

Hate for you to feel "alone" here so I guess I'll make my first post.

I'm 44, 5.1 ish, 225 estimated as I don't have any scales in the house anywhere !

I have one on order so may have to move my start weight up (or down?).

I'm only on day 3 here but I LOVE this site, I'm a real computer person and love being able to enter my food intake and exercise on line !

I've noticed that folks have included some other sites their using, the one that was sooo helpful for me is http://www.mapmywalk.com I use this site and CC daily to help manage my weight.

One of the best things to happen, is my son who is 11 and overweight, although not obese thankfully, is as excited about this program as I am and has set up own program.
