Thank you for providing the link to this. I thought I was doing pretty well, but 2.5 planets! Yikes! I am in the process of potty training my 2 year old (I hate thinking of all the diapers I have thrown away, although I do spend most of his day as diaper free as possible. And I am praying for a good hybrid or pure electric mini-van to tote my 3 kids back and forth to school (I get nervous every time I wave good bye to them on the school bus, those things and polluting monsters and they just aren't safe without seatbelts). |

So that's why I dreamt of the water last night ;) Because of your blessing and the fact that it's finally raining way out here in the middle of the desert!
I actually have swam with wild dolphins before! My soon to be husband and I took our kayaks out at La Perouse Bay at the crack of dawn and were surrounded by those beautiful, gentle, curious, playful (I have a million adjectives for them). We got out of our kayak and swam around them! It was surreal! I would do that everyday if I could! God is amazing! |

Hi Viv- I chose this nickname a long time ago when I was living in Maui. The street that my daughter's daycare was on was Kaiwahine (mermaid) and I just really liked the way that word sounded. I am crazy about the water, I had to be in the ocean everyday (or at least the pool) so I thought that lolo-crazy, kai-salt water, wahine-girl just kind of fit me ;) |

I have been busy with church, teaching preschool and my kids school and trying to get our lives in order. I have been trying to get workouts in after my class and before I have to pick up the kiddos.
We stopped the foreclosure process!! Yeah! We are not cleared but at least the lender is working with us. We have been contemplating whether we should file a Chapter 7 or not. Thru all of this, I can't help but feel like I am getting closer to God and Jesus. Just a few years ago I would have been a certifiable basket case right now, but my faith is bringing me thru!!! |

Hi Pam and Viv!!!! It's nice to meet you, Viv. My name is lolo, I am a mother of 3 (aged 9, 7 and 2) and I have gained and lost over 180 pounds due to pregnancies, PPD treatments and an experiemental birth control injection. I was raised in a Catholic church, went thru the New Age thing in my 20's and am currently very involved in my gospel church, which I love. I find that every minute I am getting closer to God and I am a certified Jesus Freak
I hope that this thread will become more active like it used to be and you will find some of the most wonderful, lovely, kind, spirited women and men in the world right here! |

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!! I hope that we all found something to be thankful for on this special day. Thank you, Lord, for another day with my children. Thank you for the air that I breathe. Thank you for the food on our table and the roof over our heads. You are an awesome God. Amen. |

| Vegetarian | non-vegetarian.... JUICE??? wtf? | Nov 15 2007 03:34 (UTC) |

According to Snopes.com (my favorite reference for urban legends) the bugjuice is true.
And as far as the Vitamin D goes, here is an article from Vegetarian Journal That states that Tropicana's juice comes from a purely synthetic Vitamin D whilst Florida Grower's comes from a base of lanolin (sheep) and is concocted synthetically from there. Anyway you look at it, it's not vegetarian. It's eeeeewwwwy! I think I'll stick with good old sunshine and an orange ;) |

Shannon- I live in the Southeast Valley of Arizona, in Chandler. Let me know if there is anything that I can do for you. If the lead pans out and he is here, I will contact the local news and see if they can run some sort of story about him. Channel 3 (www.azfamily.com) has a wonderful caring morning show and they might be able to help get the word out to look for him. My 7 y.o. daughter asked about Christopher this afternoon and I let her light her own candle for him as she said a prayer. Take care and God bless- Lolo |

| I have the same problem, blue. I swear by magnesium tablets. I take 500mg every night and I went from going every 7 to 14 days to going every morning! It also has a ton of other health benefits, from easing depression to helping muscles recover from injury. Google it and check it out. It usually takes a few days to start working but once it does it is great. | |||

Pleasant Words Today's Scripture “Pleasant words are as honeycomb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body” (Proverbs 16:24). Today's Word from Joel and Victoria Do you look for good things to say about yourself and others? Are you speaking pleasant words? The Bible tells us that pleasant words are healing to the body. Do you need healing in your body—physically? Spiritually? Emotionally? Your words can bring that healing. Start speaking pleasant words—words of life, encouragement, and thanksgiving. Guard your heart by making sure you are only listening to pleasant, life-giving words. If there’s something on the TV or radio that isn’t bringing life to your soul, turn it off. If someone’s having a conversation that’s not uplifting or productive, don’t be a part of it. Choose to meditate on God’s Word which, according to Hebrews, is living and active and full of pleasant words. As you choose life by choosing life-giving words, you’ll see God’s healing operating in your life. You’ll feel strength and peace in your soul, and you will move forward into the abundant life God has in store for you! A Prayer for Today Father in Heaven, thank You for Your word which is truth that sets me free. I repent today for any words that have brought destruction into my life or the lives of those around me. I ask that You uproot every negative seed that is contrary to Your Word. I choose words of life today that I may glorify You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen. |

*********************Joke of the Day***************************8 A man riding his Harley was riding along a California beach when suddenly the sky clouded above his head and, in a booming voice, the Lord said, "Because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish." The Lord said, "Your request is materialistic. Think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking: the supports required reaching the bottom of the Pacific and the concrete and steel it would take! It will nearly exhaust several natural resources. I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of something that could possibly help mankind."

Hi everyone. Welcome McKenzie! Psalms 121 1-2 I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains? I hope you can all forgive my absence. I had some terrible/disheartening news that I had asked for prayer about on October 1. And I noticed that only Pam responded to my plea for prayer, so I went into a downward spiral into depression. Nothing has changed except that I am disgusted at myself for not putting all faith in the Lord. Each day is a new day and I am thankful for the air that I breathe and the children that I have. A house is just a house and if we end up losing it to the bank, then I believe that is what is in God's plan for my family...perhaps He knows we would be happier back in Maui or in California closer to my parents...it is not for me to question. I have been working double shifts and so that is part of the reason that I have not taken the time to come here and write. Dili-It is so nice to hear from you and to see your words. I placed a request at my library for Francine's books. I guess Pam is busy with her own thread. Tracker- You are the glue, baby! Mamas - Welcome to the club! I hope you are doing better, death is so hard on the ones that get left behind. Joan- How did everything go?

| I sure could use some prayers tonight. I am humbling myself in the eyes of the Lord as Your will be done. It is not for us to question what You do or how You do it. Help me to have peace with this newest of obstacles in our path and help me to rest easy in knowing that You have a purpose for everything and it shall be revealed in Your time. | |||

Thanks, tracker! I just realized that it's October 1st and we should restart our Healthy Mind/Body/Soul Challenge. Shall we go Monday to Monday, that will give us 5 weeks then 2 days. I think all the old points systems are still valid (as Pam had won the prior challenge). I weigh in at 122.6 today with measurements of chest 35.5, waist 29, hips 36.75. |

Hello everyone! This week Sedona saved a Gecko from being eaten by my neighbor's cat and we tried to nurse it back to health. It survived for 3 days but on the Saturday night it passed away. Sedona has always said that she either wanted to be a farmer or a vet so I was hoping that this would be a "life" experience for her. She took it pretty hard and carried "Baby Gater" in his coffin to church, but as soon as her friend came over to pick her up for an impromptu sleepover, she perked right up. I haven't seen her since yesterday so I think she will be alright. I have been waiting to have his funeral until she gets back home. |

I looked at your picture and cannot even begin to think of why anyone would ask if you are pregnant! Most people don't even think about asking a woman this unless she is over 8 months and has a huge stomach (check out my profile)!! And then it came to me....someone must have started a rumor about you. Maybe your ex-boyfriends current girlfriend or something. So laugh it off because you look so good that someone out there is jealous enough to start a rumor about you Lolo |

I have an idea (don't go running away screaming, it's a good idea, really)! It sounds as though we all miss it when we were all on here at similar times so that we had more of a chat room than a bulletin board type atmosphere, so.........how about we try to have a chat night once a week. Let's try to make it at the same night and time every week so that we (meaning me) don't forget Lonely Lolo |

| Dili- I hope things will be better by morning. And glad you had something to calm you down, sometimes that can change everything for ourselves and help us get a new attitude. The Lord tells us to forgive, but darn it, that's not so easy to do!! Especially when someone we love is being so mean and rude to us. |

Solomon will be 2 on October 10th. Did I tell you he puts his hands together and places them right under his nose and against his mouth! My littlest angel When does everything change? I can, thankfully, still look at my children and think that they will never turn on me and they won't be like other teenagers, but I know that they are going to be whatever they want to be. It won't/doesn't seem to matter what you try to teach/show them, they have to figure it out for themselves. |
