Weight Loss Confused about body shape May 27 2009

I've always been confused about my shape. These are my measurements:

Bust: 34

Underbust: 27

Waist: 26

Hips: 36

Midthigh: 19

 

Anyone know what shape I am? I always thought maybe pear, but magazines always say you have to have a small stomach and small boobs to be pear, and I don't they're just smallER than my hips. Then I thought maybe hourglass, but they also hav to have small waists.

I'm 13, 5'1 1/2, and 121 pounds. I'm pudgy, as every single person I know, including my parents, seems to feel the need to remind me, and I'm trying to lose weight.

Can I join? Spiffy! I have been trying and trying and I haven't lost a pound! But I really think if I have a nice, tiny, achievable goal I'll be able to do it.

I know weigh-ins are on Sundays, but I'll just tell you now and from here on after I'll do it on Sundays, yes?

 

Age: 13 (I appear to be the youngest of us all, despite this being in the YCC section)

Funny that you would say that, because I DO have time to turn it into my part-time job! I have nothing else to do while we stay here in Albuquerque. My mom is here for a temporary job, and I'm just tagging along because if I'm not with her I'd have to be with my dad. Anyways, the thing with jump roping is that... okay, this is embarrassing... I can't jump rope. I got one for Christmas, but I'm really not good enough at it. The last time I tried, chaos ensued.

 

And on the strength training front, I'm totally covered. The thing is, I need cardio as well because strength training doesn't burn very many calories.

For your shoulders, back and arms, push-ups do wonders. The top part of your abs? Easy; crunches.

French Vanilla Designer Whey Protein. I always put it in my cereal. 18g of protein and it's an A here on CC. Promax bars are also As and they're 20g of protein, plus they have a bunch of nutrients. I have difficulty getting all my protein in a day so these two items are a must for me.

I'm... not so great about my fiber. I've been logging my meals for like a week, and the highest I've gone is 26 grams in one day. But I just started eating a high fiber cereal for breakfast, so it'll get better.
