Vegetarian Help! I so badly want to go Vegan! Jul 14 2009

Hey, Ive been a vegetarian for about 7 months and ive recently started the switch to veganism.  Im pretty much there.  Its not always an easy lifestyle change especially when you try to go out to dinner with friends but it is a well worth while cause.  If lack of suport is an issue, you must first make sure that you are firm in your beliefs for going vegan, and you may need to try and talk to those who are givng you trouble.  I have difficulty since i am still living at home, when my mother goes grocery shopping she tends not to read the label, and sometimes dosnt relize that some tomato sauce has cheese or what not in it.  But I work around it.

I guess the best advice is to just take is slow, I would start by being a strict vegitarian for a while then begin to explore with vegan options.

Good luck-

Well, If you have a serious ed disorder, a professional should be helping you in your recovery process.  As far a pot is concerned, I to use it for many different reasons.  It helps me relax after a long day, and accually stops me from eating emotionaly as I normaly do.  Watch out for the munchies though. But in all serious, pot helps you open your mind do new ideas, and perceptions, I dont see any reason why that wouldn't pertain to food.  If its being used as a resource to help you have a better relationship with food, that might not be a bad idea.  However, If your relationship food is distorted to the point where you fear calories and gaining weight, marijuana may not provide all of the help that you are seeking, or should be recieving.  I hope this helped.

YES!! Women should let go of the old fashion ideas of the man making the first move.  Just try asking him if he wants to hang out sometime after class, and see what happens from there.

Hello, I'm about 5'4 and 140 pounds.  I have a goal to be 124lb, but really just trying to find my healthy weight.  Im 19 and a sophmore in college.  It would be great to find a buddy who is dealing with the same issues college presents, when trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle such as dinning halls with limited nutritional options a weekends where beer seems to be everywhere.
