Ok, I did hear it's not good to weight yourself everyday. I do see a small difference here and there, especially when I ate too much of something or had a snack late at night. I guess I'll just have to pick a day, I have been losing which is the main thing!

Hi there, Funny you ask I just bought some the other day to make sweetpotato fries. Take a large sweetpotato peel and cut up into long french fry looking pieces, put into ziplock bag, add a little olive oil, and you don't need much, put some season salt, if you want, then shake them up, cook on cookie sheet @ 400c for about 25min, verry yummy!. Or you could cut the sweetpotato in half, cook on baking sheet, until done (depends on size) usually 30mins, when done sprinkle some cinnamon on, yummo!! I would use sweetpotato with just about any dish, their very healthy for you.

Hi there Sorry I haven't gotten back to you all. The only thing I've heard about breastfeeding and dieting, is that you burn more calories, about 500, and that it helps you lose weight?? My baby will be 7mos on monday, he was fussy and having a hard time getting to sleep one night, but nothing not typical of him, and he is cutting teeth, so it's a little hard to tell. I would have to agree that you should eat enough calories to maintain milk supply, especially the "good calories"and it shouldn't matter. I think if I was to go from one extreme to another, maybe it would affect my milk supply?? For me eating 1500 a day is good and 1700 on a bad day, sometimes I get a little hungry on 1500, but I try to eat something with good calories, like fruit or veggies or just a low cal snack. I would like to know more about the "toxins" released from your fat if you don't eat enough calories while breastfeeding though???

I agree with Kodysmomma2, make sure you take you vitamins, eat more frequently, but smaller meals, lots of water. Stay away from the fast food, greasy foods if you can. Yes talk to your OB about anything you have concern about. I used to get really hungry first thing in the morning too!!

Hi there, I had morning sickness pretty bad for my second pregnancy. What I found helped was keeping some water and soda crackers (saltines) by your bedside, eat some and sip the water before you get up. Sometimes it seemed to help, I also bought some "Sea Bands" you can get them at any drug store, their for motion/sea sickness, the elastic/button put pressure on a certain pressure point (can't remember name?) the stops the feeling. I woun't recommend gravol, just don't like the idea of taking meds while pregger unless I needed to, good night sleep and mint/peppermint tea is good though. Here's a link for those sea band, I swear by them, it made me feel better within a couple of hours. Good Luck, hopfully it will only last a few weeks
