New graph looks good.  Nice to easily be able to look up data for specific days by using the points on the graph.  I also saw more clearly the time frames for my mini-plateaus.  Might make for some good analyses when I get some free time.

Malkavian,

With my own recent loss, know that my heart knows your pain and grief.  My heart weeps with yours.  A flood of tears has begun again.  Although it may feel unbearable right now, the pain of Charlie's loss will subside with time.  Take one day at a time and you will work through the grief.  Just as you saved Charlie, let his memory assist you in helping yourself move forward.  I know you have lots of great memories of your time with Charlie.  Don't throw them away.  Smile and share those wonderful memories.  Let Charlie live on in your heart.

Some of my great memories Laughinginclude....Candy (first family dog I can remember); Kitty (swiped a steak from the kitchen table - boy did mom get mad), baby chickens (we put little cowboy hats on them); miscellaneous kittens my siblings and I would get dizzy with and then we would all stumble around in the grass....or simply watch the kittens run their little races from one end of the house to the other; Foots (a vicious german shepherd my dad brought home - I worked day after day for weeks until I befriended him - to my mom's horror); Susie & her 13 puppies (what fun that was); Shrimp (the cat that should have been part of a trapeze act); Sherman (white german shepherd with one ear straight up and and one floppy - he could run forever chasing his tennis balls); Bear (abandoned by someone in my yard & became my protector against people but hid behind me when another dog came around; my late Dax (yellow lab - my first dog to "talk to me" when I asked him to and rough and tumble friend to my youngest niece and nephew - still in grief mode over Dax).  So many years and so many memories.

Now old Odo the cat and young Jack (my goofy 3-month old boxer) are learning to treat each other with respect (quite a spectacle at times).  Lots of new memories already in the making.

You've already taken some steps to help yourself.  Good girl.  Now, the previous responders to your post have provided some other great suggestions.  Please consider them.  Take care....all will be well.

My thoughts are with you.

Only 4 pounds to go....well done!  Have an awesome celebration when you reach your goal.

Myself, I've got 8 pounds to go.  I'm very proud of myself for setting my goal nineteen months ago and following through each day in healthy ways to reach it.  I think I actually smile each day I put on my size 10 jeans....Laughing.

Ooooh Astralhippy,

The timing of your question and the reply posts couldn't have been more helpful.  Lately I have heard the same comments from so many friends and family.  Just over a year ago, I began this journey to reach a healthy weight and I'm more than half way there....from 317 pounds to a current 179.4 pounds.  Just 34.4 pounds before I reach my goal.   I see that this is something I must continue to do for myself since know what is best for me.

You look great in your picture.  Keep up the excellent work.  You know what is best for youSmile
