Alright so last night we had our leadership team meeting, and of course there was free food. And I ended up having 6 cookies (chocolate chip-pecan) and some rolo pieces. It wasnt a full blown binge, but I think Im going to call it a binge :( I was so close to 30! hahaha, well back to the beginning. I've learned that my main trigger foods right now are cookies and chocolate. I will stay far, far away from now on.

Will be back later to post my day 1 of no bingeing.

Yes, the temptation of anything sweet is horrible! I have to stay away from all sweets. lol

AND PLUS EVERYDAY I log on my calorie coach has changed my expected goal date to a day further away from the original one! This is very frustrating!!! I don't think I eat bad foods at least not regularly for that to be happening, I stay within my cal limit, actually try to stay under if I can. and STILL, this coach is making me feel hopeless!

Yeah same! I don't understand why it keeps changing my goal date. It's a bit annoying, and everytime I try to change it back, it won't let me. I understand that CC wants to help out as much as possible, but it should let us freely decide on certain things. lol

I would also like to join this support group. My binging is IMPOSSIBLE to deal with. I absolutely despise it, and I am really trying to help myself with this issue.

Today, I binged again. I had basically a full bag of bbq chips, and TWO chocolate bars. Oh the horror. I felt horrible afterwards, of course.

Well, tomorrow is a new day, and hopefully I'll do better.

I find myself thinking that way when I get tempted to eat. Except my quote is a bit different, but same idea.

"Nothing tastes as good as being being skinny"

=]  Keeps me away from making a bad choice some of the time aha.

I've heard that quote as well. Both of those quotes are very useful. Another quote I've heard is, "I've gone too far to take orders from a cookie." I find this one to be quite humourous. :)

I'm reaching for a thought..I guess if you want to "locate" yourself and "Know" what you're consuming this is a necessary-evil for you.
I find in everything we are creatures of habit.  The more you do it the more it will be habit.

Once you begin eating the same healthy things and locating your calories then you can go on Auto-pilot.

If you want change you gotta make changes.

For weight loss:
Eat less
Exercise
keep track
Eat healthy

I gained weight eating healthy so I HAVE to count my calories.

I wrote everything down for about 8mths or so.  Now I keep track on my computer.  I can remember what I eat and come in and type away.  It's nice b/c at the end of a month I can find out my AVG. calories for the month.  That's fun to me.

All the Best
DWF

Very great points! I also go online and keep track of what I eat. I'm not the type that can write down everything in a book or journal, so instead I go on websites (such as this one) and keep track this way. I feel a lot more motivated when I can type as apposed to writing it by hand. What's great about sites like Calorie-Count is that they help you figure out the amount of calories as well, which is another advantage. :)

Motivation I ate bad good.... Feb 04 2008

I am still adjusting to making some lifestyle changes. I was put in a situation yesterday where I knew I wouldn't be able to resist some foods.

So....

1. I LOVE OREOS!!! I only ate 1!!! Normally I could finish off half of a bag but I only ate 1!!

2. Pizza: I could eat a whole one....I ate 2 pieces!

3. I ordered a 6 in sub sandwich. I was full after half and I stopped!!!!! Amazing! :o)

4. The neighbor brought over a delicious looking cinn. roll and I only ate half!!!

So, although I made some bad choices I didn't over do it which was one issue I was REALLY!!! dealing with!

Good for you! :D

I had a HUGE issue with Subs; they're sinfully delicious. lol. They always promote that they're healthy, which I sort of understand if you compare them to fast foods. But, I never feel full enough from a 6-inch, and a 12-inch is packed with TOO many calories, so I also have decided to decrease the Sub consumption. Actually, I think it'd be best if I stopped eating them altogether. *sigh*

I basically love any vegetable that I've eaten, but I guess I would say that broccoli is my absolute favourite. Delicious.
