Hi guys, I know it's been a while, work is so crazy! But I have been keeping up the 'diet' - in fact, I lost 1.8lbs this week - without really thinking about it (sometimes I find it's when I don't try that hard, that things just just go my way!). |

Weigh-in today was 145. Down 3lbs since February 5th. I'm really excited about that...it's motivating! Just got my Lands End bathing suit last week, and I must say, not bad (a size 10)! It would look better if I was down another 7 by mid-May and I'll be aiming for that.

| Funkymunky...thanks for the advice (and in a good way, a kick in the pants)...This weight-loss thing (or journey) sometimes takes its toll...WW is great, and my leader is extremely supportive. The discouraging part (and I know I ridiculous this sounds), is that it's taken me more than two years to lose 35 lbs. I should be focussing on the achievement rather than the time, I know that. I should be celebrating the fact that I've kept the weight off for two years and that I now wear a size 8 (for the first time in my life I am a single digit!). I guess the self-esteem issues creep in, hence my decision to post on this board (my first time ever on a board). I knew the advice and support I'd get from others would be helpful, and it is! So, thanks for bringing me back to real world |

| Well, my scale says 143.0 this morning - a good one. Feeling "plumpish" kept me away from my WW weigh-in yesterday, but I am happy with this. Down 1 from last week. Hope this downward direction stays with me for another week! | |||

I think I need some help....I'm seeing an all too familiar pattern in my weight loss (or lack thereof). I am following what I think is portion control and healthy options, but the scale isn't budging. Having said that, I am fighting an incredible case of the munchies -- but I am still sticking within my WW points, so I know I am not going overboard. I do this, I do well, then stall for a few months and then slowly, very slowly, I start losing a 1/2 pound a week. I am not one for exercise but I have been forcing myself onto the treadmill - a 4.0 speed with an incline. I must admit, I do notice that the cellulite on my butt is improving! Does this happen to anyone else? I am kinda thinking I won't make my goal of a 10lb loss by the end of March. |

Well, I, too, gained this week...up one pound. Let's see, what could have done me in...was it the pizza my brother-in-law made Friday night? (although low-cal), the Saturday must-have french fries? (only 1/2 the take-out portion), or the birthday cake with ice-cream on Sunday? (and another smaller piece on Monday). I resolve to do a much better job this week. If I can convince myself to go near the evil treadmill! Thinking bathing suit, bathing suit, bathing suit! |

missmichelle (and others) I swear, I don't lose weight like 'normal people'. I ride up and down the scale, and yet, everytime I seem to gain a few, I find that I've lost inches. So my advice, don't worry too much about the weight. Measure your arms, bust, waist and hips and watch the inches disappear. I'm also small on top but heavy in the rear and thighs...I heard that you can't focus exercise on particular trouble spots...because the weight will come off from all over. Best thing (I've heard) is tone, tone, tone! Hang in there! Added: BTW, I always supplement Lean Cuisines by adding extra veggies...while I really like them, they're not that filling. My fave though is the Weight Watchers bean, rice and cheese thing (can't remember the name of the dish)...talk about filling! |

I follow the WW Core program - I gave up most processed foods (when I can but heck, they are so convenient!), my problem is not healthy eating, I think I do...my problem is portion control. I never have that 'feeling full' sensation, so if I make something good (like a black bean chili), I just can't stop eating...and eating...and eating! I too am a carb junkie, I can't buy baked goods like fresh bread, cookies...I just plow through them until they're gone! Yesterday, my first day back on track went well...until I remembered I had a half bag of Multigran taco chips (too addicting). Well, I ate most of those until I said my new mantra, "Bathing suit in public"! It's really encouraging to hear of your struggles...I know I'm not alone! |

I don't just want to join this group, I really need to! I joined Weight Watchers two years ago in the hopes of losing 40 pounds, and I am still not there (and not for lack of trying). I'm down 30lbs, but it seems I really need help on the last 15. I'm off to Aruba in May and just want to wear a bathing suit - and not a bikini - my goals aren't that lofty! I'm 5'5" and as of today's weigh-in, I am 148. I really want to reach 130 - in my adult life (I'm 41), I've never been 130! My (naturally) stick-thin sister assures me that I was 130 once, on the way up....how supportive! Anyway, I am back to calorie-counting and using the treadmill at least 4 times a week...and hopefully I can, with your help and encouragement, avoid the junk! |

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
