yeah, I was really worried about overtraining when I started. But I'm not going to be running everyday of the week, I probly wasn't very clear on that xP I'm going to be running 6 days a week with sunday as my rest day. but I started running on sunday this week, so I'm going to have two days off, just because I know I'll feel like it ;)

I'm going to be following the 10% rule, I was just really hoping to start off with 20 miles this week so I could get up to about 40 miles before cross country started. I was planning on doing a 4 mile run tomorrow... probly just do a 2 mile, and take the two days off then try for 18 or so miles next week... thanks :)

I think that sounds good, but I think you should add a little bit of protein when you get home from the gym like a handful of nuts or a spoonful of peanut butter or something, just to give your body some extra fuel from working all your muslces.

I don't run in the morning, but I plan on it...

but even before I start doing stretching and stuff I have like a banana or half a banana or a pretzel rod or half a pretzel rod. something easy on the stomach. I prefer the banana or half  because I know I'm getting some nutrients, more so than the pretzel.

So I weighed myself just to see where my weight was at this morning and it said 118! gah! I was so happy!!! :D I can't remember when the scale said 118 xP

I was so stoked I made myself to my weights and a little bit of abs that I probably would've otherwise dreaded doing... but I felt so hot this morning seeing that number xD

I don't know where the number came from... because I haven't been doing too much exercise during my two weeks off... possibly loss of muscle? but with keeping my eating under check when I start training... I think I'll be good ;) anyway.. I'm totally stoked :D

Hey! :) so today is the last day of school!! :) and I reeallly want to go back looking good. I'm 5'6? I haven't had my height checked since my physical at the beginning of the school year so I'm just kind of guessing 5'6. I weight like 119-120 and I would love to get down to 115, or 110 if possible, but I'm going to be training fr cross country so with all the muscle I don't think I could weight 110, but it would be nice :P

I'm going to start training monday next week and I can't wait. I took my two weeks off and I'm totally ready to get rid of some fat and tone up. :) I'm probably going to start weights and abs and yoga and stuff this weekend and I really need to just do it!! I need to promise this to myself, and force myself to, even though I probably wont want to do it xP

oh, I'm 16, and going to be a junior next year, I really want to be good in cross country, and lose some of this fat xP

mm... watermelon sounds ah-MAzing! lol, I haven't had it in so long xD anyway...

breakfast: banana, toasted whole wheat bread w/ peanut butter, maybe a cup of cherrios?

Lunch: pasta salad w/ tomatoes and green peppers, and a bunch of carrots and celery

Snack: (before track) banana

Snack: (after track) handful of walnuts, tea, handful of cinnamon toast crunch

Snack: a little later, a cookie... and another cookie a little later

Dinner: piece of whole wheat bread w/ peanut butter, fries... homemade ;)

I think that's it... maybe something else, but I'm pretty sure that's it :)

well from what I understand it's not natural, and your body can't digest it or something so it can make you gain weight... I'll google some things up in a little bit.. :)

but I personally don't eat anything with sucralose, or aspartame... ugh.. it's just gross knowing that it's not natural... and it has a funny taste to me... I miss gum, but just thinking of the sucralose and aspartame makes me feel better about it. and besides... I'm pretty sure I inherited my mom's tmj so its probably good I don't eat it regardless :)

I haven't had my height measured since my last physical... I was 5'5 and that was months ago... I know that I've grown since then... I feel taller xD I'm prettty sure I'm like 5'6ish...

I weight like... 120/125... I don't weigh myself very much, but I was like 122 last week? so I'm sure I'm still there... I would like to weigh like.. anything under 120... I don't know, seeing the scale under 120 seems like such a pretty number to me xD if that makes sense, but I'm sure it's not entirely possible because I do have muscle...  but yeah... that's me :)

hey helloandgoodbye... I think you should go see a doctor, and explain to him your concerns and everything you have posted here. Most likely they might do some tests and they might include needles, but it would all be for the better? :)

A doctor can tell you more than what we would know here, and some people are a little more biased than others. Most likely the doctor will give you some medication or some other things.. I personally don't like medication or pain killers or anything like that.. it's just not natural, but it might help you with your slow metabolism or any other problems that they might come up with. I really wish you the best of luck, and I hope they figure out something to do if you do go see a doctor.

I've heard that some people really experience good benefits with a vegan type diet or raw foods diet? I don't really know but considering bread doesn't seem to like your stomach you could try a raw foods diet? but just make sure you try it informed in case you do think about trying it...

well I have a pretty much all muscle butt... and I run, I do track and I also play soccer, but it's the running that's made my butt toned. sorry I can't be more help, but running is a great exercise and easy to do... you just need some shoes ;)

so I'm in the same boat as just keep running...

I'm 16 and like 2 months and I've never had my period... the last time I went to get my physical, at the beginning of the school year, the doctor wasn't concerned when I told him I haven't. I'm about 5'6 ish and like 120-125.. I just weighed myself at 122... I don't weigh myself that often so... yeah :P

um... I'll just post what I've eaten today...

breakfast   sandwich with whole wheat bread and peanut butter and some muesli cereal...

lunch   same sandwich and a banana

snack before track a banana

after track I had half a blue lagoon smoothie from tropical smoothie cafe... okay so the smoothie was a treat, I never have smoothies even though I love them xD and I also had a sandwich with whole wheat bread and avocado tomatoes and onion...

then after track I just had a cup or so of some muesli cereal...

I'm considering having pasta or tea or something later... not sure yet :/

I have track 5 days a week and soccer 5 days a week... it depends for soccer... and that's not counting meets or games because on those days sometimes I just do the meet or just the game or a meet and a game depending on the day... but now that summer is coming and the seasons are ending I'm just going to be training for cross country this summer.

so yeah... any questions comments or concerns xD

Your bmr is the amount of calories you would burn if you do NOthing but sleep all day. It's kind of like your basic guideline for how many calories you should burn and eat :)

I'm totally natural... I really don't care to dye my hair... I dyed it once with temporary dye for halloween and people said it looked awesome, I even had my mom buy me brunette hair dye... but I'm a really lazy person and wouldn't want to keep up with dying my roots and all that junk. I don't straighten or blow dry my hair. I like it, if I want it curly I just don't brush it out after I take the towel off my head and if I want it straight, I brush it out and brush it every once in a while while it's drying. or I just put it  up in a pony tail if it looks like crap... xP

If I ever start to get a side cramp/stitch.. whatever you want to call it... I just start to breath in good long, slow breaths into my stomach and breath out all the air in your lungs and just do that a couple times... usually I try to hold my side too.. it works pretty well.. it never hurts to walk for a little too if it gets that bad...

On days I don't workout.. probly around 1600 or so...

and on the days I do run and stuff around 2000

about 4-5 days I week I'm doing some soccer conditioning pretty much running for like 20 minutes and some ab stuff... ladders.. sometimes stairs...

and I usually run anywhere from 2 to 4 times a week ususally  miles at least

I do some ddr every day...

and I just randomly dance and stuff when I'm in my room or whatever xP

well I haven't been feeling too good for a few days and my eating is really screwed up so I haven't been running for a good 4 days. I usually eat 2000 maybe more.. I just logged the stuff I ate today just to see how much and it was about 1600... so yeah around 2000... :)
