ok great to hear from  you penny, i plan on logging my food again soon.  thank you for not giving up on me.  i am at 268 which is good i have not gain any weight  back.  I did go up and down between 267 and 270. so i think it is ok. i will write in my journal later ok..

Thank you for the tips and keep writing me. i did not log my food again yesterday. i just dont seem motivated to do it any more. i know i have to so that i can be aware of what i am really eating.  i will try again today.  howeve i did go for my walk and bike ride yesterday.  I am up to 8 times around the park and i walk to and from the park.  and i am also doing stretches. so not all is lost.  my weigh in is tomorrow for our biggest loser II here at work.  It appears not everyone is as motivated as the first time around.  But some people are losing.  I have basically maitain my wt i have been at 271 this around which is one pound up from my ending weight from first time.  so i have been on this plateau since july 18, 2008 so something has to change.

well i know you are right, i am going to make it a point to start logging my food starting today and see what happens.  it is just that finicially we are unable to buy the right kind of foods. I have to eat what we have on hand.  but i still can record food and try to stay with in alotted calories right?

This is what has been happening with me, not entering my food or writing in my journal. eating stuff that i know are not good for me.  i too am trying to get back on track.  starting today.  i plan on recording my food and doing my exercises.  so lets keep in touch ok supernan.  I want my old habits to be gone but i have to continue to practrice my new habits.  right?  that thought just came to me.  it has taken us several years to built up all the old habits and now i espect my new habits to stick in just a few months.  Frown

sounds like a lot of fun. congratulations for getting out of the 230's whatever you ar doing is working.  share your secrets.  i have been in the 270' s like for ever.  we have a biggest loser contest going on here at my work.  we just started biggest loser round two on july 11, and i just don't have the same emf. i think i am bored with my food and with would i am doing so i need new ideas.  i usually eat oatmeal for breakfast and a salad for lunch and some protein and veggies for dinner.  man writing it down and seeing it in writing it is boring, he! he! i mean i change it up a little and i try to get creative. I am just blah! i know this mood will pass but i thought i would share and get it off my chest in hopes that it will make me feel better. sorry for dumping all this on you but i think it may help you and someone else who may be feeling the same way. ok thanks for reading this i hope to hear from you soon..

thank you penny for the words of encouragement.  I want to report that i did good all day yesterday till dinner. went to sizzlers with my daughter.  ate the salad bar.  well not the whole bar, he!he! I ate a little more then normal.  not to to bad.  i stopped myself when i felt i was getting out of control.  goood advise about replacing bad habits with good ones. i think stopping myself is a new thing.  and reconizing the out of control feeling is something new too, and my williness to stop.  my emotions are so out of control right now and i know why and what is cousing my "craziness" . another good thing, to know why and what is cousing this emotional eating fit.  ok talk later.

thank you for replying. I will just start fresh today.  and i too am on a plateau for about three weeks.  we two more weigh in's here at work.  i am still in first place but there are a feww people coming up from behind.  i really dont care so much about winning the money just about getting back on track and staying on track after the contest is over.  my weight this morning was 274.5 which makes me up 2 pounds from last week, not to bad right?.   start wt.  306.5 my goal weight is to be under 200, ( 199)  he! he!    short term goal is to be 260 lbs.  ok everyone thanks again for this web site it has really helped me.  have a great week. i will be backkkk.Smile

hello anyone, i have not recorded my food for approx. 4 days, this is the longest that i have gone without recording my food. when i miss a day or even two, i will sit here and try to remember what i ate and record it to the best of my ability.  however i do not want to sit here and try to remember four days of bad eating. yes i have been so way off track. i kn ow there is no good excuse so i am not making any. I am just stateing the facts.. i had company since wednesday and they all just left now.  wow! wow! it has been a lonnnng weekend.  some vac.  so my question is what do you guys do when you have not record your food for days at a time or does anyone ever do that or is it just me.  HELP!!!

when you carve oranges for dessert any day. or when you give your self a cheat day and can not even enjoy the food you are eating, because you feel so guilty, sucks.

hello jerichocheyenne, wow that is a long name!   ok, well first of all we all have bad days, weeks or even months.  we would not have weight problems if we had it all together. the fact that you are writing is a good sign.  we are here for you ok. keep on keep on. 

I am new to this web site well i have been counting calories and posting my food daily since feb not to sure exact day. i just now started responding to people. so if i sound stupid so sorry.  but did you say that you are the one that started this site? or this forum? anyway if that is true it most be overwhelming. 

I know when i do something good and it goes good i sabotage myself.  ( I am not saying that is what is happening to you but I thought i would share that with you) that is my fear right now with my weight lose, i am on track, believe me i am not like 100 % good everyday, but this site has really helped me to have more good days then bad ones.  and my weight is coming off, so my fear is that i will not know how to handle success.  so keep on writing ok so that i will know that i am not alone.  today is a good day but i never know when a bad day will come.  again thanks.  i hope this helps more then hurts ok..

ok thanks lonestarpenny, it is so good to have others that are in the same boat as me. well i have seven weeks of the biggest loser contest at work, which is making me worried that i will not have the support at work that i have now. so having you guys is great, however most of my time is spent at work monday thru friday which makes it easy to stay on my plan.   the good thing is that i really enjoy reading and logging on here so that too is a motivator.  so again thanks and i will be back.  ok, my weigh in is on friday so i will post my weight ok?

i gained 1/2 a pound on friday's weigh in at work. current wt 278. oops.  Mothers day etc etc. i know no excuse, just stating facts.  ok back on track today. will post wt on monday.  thanks.

well thank you lonestarpenny it is good to know that i can share my journey with you guys that have 100 or more to lose. it is sometimes difficult to share my struggles with someone that only has 5 lbs or 20, not that they do not struggle but i guess you know what i mean.

yea, i try not be be jealous of my co workers, we have a "Biggest loser" contest at work and i am currently in first place it feels so good but my coworker that sits right next to me had been in first place since the get go. but now she has fallen behind, either by staying at the same wt or gaining.  I am so afraid to really enjoy my success for fear i will heard her feelings.  i know i was jealous when she was in first place so i guess she will be jealous too. maybe not. but it steals my joy just thinking that she does. she asks like she doesn't care but i know she is disappointed in herself. but i am afraid to give advice for fear i will fail to continue with this successful streak i am on.

I to log everything, i am learn portion sizes and i want to stop picking on food when i am cooking or when cleaning up i do that too. and boy do the calories add up fast.  it is getting better.  if i am tempted to take a little bite i just make it worth  it and eat a whole portion of what ever it is and count it in my daily calorie intake. period.
