A really big difference for me has been strength training. I joined Curves and since November, I've lost almost 30 lbs. You really have to make your resting metabolism better, and you need to do that with more muscles. I really enjoy working out there. It's only women, and believe me, it's not just young, skinny women. My hubby is trying to lose weight too, and can't because he just sits on his butt when he comes home from sitting on his butt all day! Even if I'm so tired I can't see straight, I feel great when I come home from working out at Curves. Hope this helps, keep it up, even if you don't lose a lot of weight, eating better and exercising is going to be good for you!!!! Cindy :-) |

Hopefully, it will be safe to run... it should be. I bet you'll also be walking a lot, if you go to museums and such. My advice would be portion control, portion control, portion control. Try the local food, it should be interesting, just take what you would normally eat and cut it in half. Resturants in Europe are not like in America, where you get such huge portions. Good luck and have a great time.
