oh gosh. im feeling guilty.

so ive been gone because its been "senior week" aka community service, overnight, and bbq.....so i havent weighed in for a while. pretty scared to. i havent eaten well at all and can feel that weight again. HOWEVER, community service was essentaily hard labor....so im hoping maybe MAYBE some things cancelled out....ill know by tomorrow.

id love to be in the next forum even though ive been behaving badly lately...

hi all.

once again at 134.

amazing what happens when i dont stay strict with myself. however! on a good note i don't get as hungry anymore and have fewer cravings! yay!

GOAL!!!! AHHHH!!!!! so several boys my age want to do a century ride (100 mile bike ride for those of you who dont know) and keep trying to get me to join because i attempted one before.....SO im going to start biking again. i hope. i really just need the motivation to tire myself out. i think i will start small (REALLY small) with a goal of 20 miles a week. that way i could do it all in one day or over two.

to everyone else- keep it up! everyone seems to be doing grrreat!

alright so i weighed in today

im at 135. still hovering around there. im beginning to think that while i would like to slim down a little this might just be my healthier weight. maybe i should start turning what i have into muscle.

thanks so much for all the suggestions! i'm sure i'll like one of the many you have. i might just have to try them all.  in being a bread lover, i've always taken like french bread (so tasty!) over wheat, but i really do need to change that.

zimcassy; welcome back you lucky duck! hope you had an awesome time

jjlewis305; that sucks. amazing how frustrating things can be. BUT while strangling someone could burn some calories, im gonna bet the jail time wouldnt be worth it, so hang in there. hopefully the house ordeal will be over soon

alright so i weighed in today.

134 pounds. up a pound from thursday and i totally know why. i cant seem to keep it under 2000 calories. i dont know why really...i am eating fairly healthy, i love fruit.  i think i just eat too much bready type things but thats what fills me up best. any suggestions on healthier filling alternatives?

so....i forgot today was monday....just remembered. so i havent weighed myself but will do it tomorrow. i'm fairly certain i've gone up. i have been above 2000 calories every day the past couple of days. but i hope to do better this week.

excellent job to everyone else who has been working so hard and seeing great success. hope everyone has a good week!

oh my gosh, i am SO proud of you! avoiding those chips and salsa is freaking IMPOSSIBLE, so delicious, so excellent job avoiding that! and kfc planning too! youve got it together, awesome.

no worries, im sure youll be getting back in stride this week without a problem, we all need have a break every once in a while.

now, time to talk about myself.....so. i played some volleyball today and now my legs are really sore, which is slightly embarressing, but also a good motivater i suppose. i didnt do too badly today during the day, it was once i got home that killed me. bread and sugar. favorite bad things. SO, my goals for the weekend are to avoid that tempting ice cream after dinner settles and to go biking.

i forgot to weigh in/ was too busy on monday....... ive gotten really bad at doing things regularly. BUT i weighed in today (after lunch, bad i know) and im at 134. thats the good news, bad news is its senior ditch today for my high school and we're all getting together for a bbq......lots of tasty yet horrible things will be abounding im sure. AND i went out to lunch with my friend and got ice cream. with chocolate chips. so im thinking about blowing off the whole eating well thing today since it seems like an impossible goal.

how is everyone else doing?

in being the laziest person on this earth (i cannot understand how a human being could run 4 hours, oh man!) i will not claim to understand your disorder. however, i agree with amberrr. you need to see a doctor type person again, preferably one who is actually helpful. if the doctor does not make you feel better or give you a better option than just giving up (i cannot believe they told you you would have to live with this forever) you need a new one. keep looking until you find one that you relate to/one that is actually helpful. canadaleaf seems incredibly insensitive, BUT is right in that you should talk to your friends as well. they will be your support during the day seeing as youre around them all the time.

ALSO, maybe you should tell your parents that their lack of concern makes you want to lose it again, that should get their attention. no parent wants to watch their child wither away.

thank god theres somebody else out there like me!

i have no suggestions for you, so helpful i know. my guess is that a lot of it is mental. im so used to eating a lot all the time that its really hard for me to resist having seconds or piling on things i dont really need.  maybe its the same for you?  i think it also just has to do with the person, for me its really hard to resist things i know i dont need to eat, but my mom is never even tempted by that chocolate chip cookie the size of her head...needless to say, i always go for it.

but! amazing job on cutting back so much, thats really great. hopefully our stomachs will "get smaller" (sounds bogus to me) and it will be easier to eat less instead of just eat healthy.
