Hi Emily...my name is Maria. I am 33 and I have been struggling with my weight after having kids. I am here hoping to make friends so I can get motivated and have the support. I just became a new member as of yesterday but I have actually been watching what I eat for about a month now. Right now I have lost 12lbs, 8 of which I had gained on my vacation this past December. I am looking to lose another 26-28 lbs with hopes that I can do it thru here. What is really hard for me is keeping up with the exercise. My husband just bought me a treadmill about 3 weeks ago and I jog on it at least 4x a week for at least 35-45 mins. The problem with me is that I was gaining the weight slowly for the past 14 yrs and thought it was ok because it would be, "Oh it's only a couple a pounds, no biggie!". This is what I always said to myself not realizing that the pounds would add up after the yrs. So I said to myself no more I need to be at a healthy weight, look good, and feel good. So with this said I hope that I can add all you ladies as my friends.      & nbsp;

Hi everyone. My name is Maria and I also happened to come across this website. I am 33 yrs old and I have been struggling with my weight since I've had my kids. I just started really watching what I eat a month ago and have lost 12 pounds (8 of those lbs I had gained when I was on vacation this past december). I just signed up thru this program and weighed in at 151 lbs. My goal is to lose another 25-28 lbs. I am hoping that by keeping track of my calories thru here will help me lose the weight. I also hope that I can get some tips on eating healthy. Right now I am getting bored of what I am eating and am scared that I will start to weaken and start having the BAD foods again. I think right now I have great will power, but hope that with having some friends here will keep me motivated.

 P.S. Congratulations to all of you who have lost some pounds by following this program. Keep it up!
