I was raised in a Baptist Church and accepted Christ in 4th grade (I think). Having a relationship with God through Jesus is what I was taught all my life and I still believe that. What is sad is from my childhood until I turned 24 my "relationship" was based on sermons from our preacher or what I HEARD about God from other people. I prayed regularly but ultimately my knowledge of God, His character, and living for Him was based on others' beliefs. I generally give the illustration of trying to tell describe what chocolate tastes like to someone who has never tasted it. Whatever words I choose to accurately describe it, that person will not have a true understanding of what chocolate is like, much less what chocolate will taste like to THEM. At 24 I started reading the Bible with a skeptical eye. I was beginning to think that 2/3 of the New Testament was written by one man (Paul) and we were basically worshiping him. I started with Matthew, the first book in the New Testament because if I was going to believe in this Jesus guy, I needed to find out what He was really like and not what everyone had told me. I was blown away by what I read! The next year was probably the pinnacle of my spiritual life. I say all that to get to this....It's not wrong to question God and be a skeptic. Actually, as someone else has stated, I encourage it! But go to the source! Read some of the Bible with an open mind and see what God can do. See who He is, and maybe more importantly, who He ISN'T!!! He gets SUCH a bad rap because of bungholes who CLAIM to be believers and do some of the worst things you can imagine. It's not God's fault!!! Anyway, to whoever, I hope you question God and hope you check him out for real...and not what everyone else says He is. Good luck!! |

See, I think that's a misconception. Most guys definitely factor personality into things (along with mojo)....unless they're only looking for a certain thing.

heard a rule one time in regards to intamacy partners....it's the rule of 2..
take the number of partners a guy admits to having and DIVIDE by 2. take the number of partners a girl admits to having and MULTIPY by 2
seems kinda accurate to me! |

| The first thing I learned, and maybe the most important, is to go to the gym for you. I was a really small guy trying to bench press 80 lbs (which was a really small amount) when I started. No one laughed at me, which is what I was the most terrified of, and I found I wasn't the worst one there! Even if I would have been, people would had been proud of me for trying, which is all you can really do. After a time or two, you'll be in a routine and your fears will be gone! Good luck!! | |||

| Mach, I seem to be in a similar situation as you were in. I'm about 195 but my body fat is waaay too high for my tastes. (I haven't gotten it measured) What does your diet look like? Excluding supplements, what do you eat for protein? What's your target for fat grams? How many carbs are you taking in? Thanks. | |||
