As mentioned before make sure you brine your turkey. This will sound odd but last year I roasted our turkey at 450 degrees for an hour and a half (14lbs.). It was great. I read an article on the net about how they bought several turkeys and fixed them all different ways. The best one was the one that was cooked at 450. I was hesitant to try it. It was by far the best turkey I've ever done.

I think the Coke Zero is not as sweet as diet Coke. I like it better myself. I tend to think all diet soda's are more sweet than the regular version.

Thanks. We have a local restaurant that has been here for many years. They call it "Turkey Bailey". I also saw it on the Food Network. They are really good. I figure if I can get the cheese sauce down and use 35 calorie bread I should be good to go.

Thanks Claire . I'll try it. Do you know what the calorie count is?

No turkey bacon. Not much calorie difference from the real thing. Good idea on the cheese. I wonder if it would melt OK? Do you put tomato slices on yours?

Try an omelet with onions, peppers, mushrooms. Could even put a little broccoli  in it.

I made a 9' deep dish pizza for dinner. It was really good. Used standard package crust mix (1/2 of the package). 4 slices of mozzarella cheese, turkey peperoni, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, green olives, and topped with sauce and parmesan cheese. It was 860 calories for the whole pie. Each had 2 nice thick slices (430 calories).

I like to have a couple of low fat waffles with sugar free syrup. Usually have that with 3 strips of bacon.

I'm going to make pizza this week. I'm going to do a small deep dish with lots of vegetables. I figure with the deep dish there will be less crust and more fillings.

How about an  egg white omelet with mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and a little ham. Maybe an english muffin with fat free cream cheese. Low calorie waffles with sugar free syrup and turkey bacon.
