Hi,

I did the yoga this am as well. Wow 90 minutes!!!  I haven't really done yoga before, very little....so it was a challenge, but most challenging was keeping my attention.  I definately worked up a sweat and felt great after I was done.

I do eat egg whites a couple times a week, but have since increased the amount after starting p90x.  I am doing this program only, nothing else.  A walk here or there but nothing more.

Keep up the good work, have a great weekend!  I think tomorrow is Plyo! I'm excited!

WOW. 90 minutes of yoga. How long are the p90x workouts usually and is there one to do everyday for 90 days?

You need to wet the sensors on the heart rate monitor strap.  It's probably not picking up your HR until you start sweating.  Spit works, or you can try something manufactured, like this.

Thanks. I tried wetting the sensors last night and it worked!Laughing

Weight Loss More calorie advice... Oct 07 2009

Thanks for the tips, some of them are useful. However, I am in kind of a different situation. I am living in a remote community in Northern Canada. So when friends and I get together, it is at someone's home and everyone always brings food. Planning other activities is great for the day, but it still doesnt eliminate the Saturday night get together that we all need by that point.

I have been drinking only hard liquer and zero calorie drinks, so I think that has helped a little. I will try to limit how much I eat before hand and exercise a little more if I can and see how I do this weekend.

Recipes Can applesauce replace butter in all recipes? Oct 07 2009

I seldom mess with existing baking recipes.  Baking is like chemistry - everything is in there for a reason.  Instead, if I want a fat free cookie or other baked goods, I go searching for a fat free recipe that has been tested.

Where can I find these fat free recipes? Other than CC is there another site with good low cal recipes?

I'd definitely replace the batteries first.

Is there any batteries in the strap or just the watch part? (I'm at work and not looking at my HRM).

I completely agree! Naturally More is my absolute favorite! I basically refuse to eat any other kinds haha. well I like PB2 but not by itself, only mixed in things or in sandwiches with nutella. Naturally More is amazing and I can eat it right out of the jar.

Can you order naturally more online?

Ok, no effing way..I just looked up PB2. I'm getting this stuff.

It's definitely worth it! I usually mix it with my protein shakes, and it gives it an amazing flavor.

I cant find PB2 in the food browser. How many cals per tbsp does it have?

I have freakishly skinny fingers :(
If I remember correctly size 5 is a bit loose on me. I don't even bother with rings anymore, I always lose them.

^^ Me too! My ring finger is a 4.5/5 and my sister-in-law described my hands as "freakishly small". At least one (or technically two) things on me can be described that way! LOL

toasted probably is a better way to put it. =]

I know eating burnt things isn't goo, although I'm not sure why exactly.

Eating burnt food is not recommended because of the high content carcinogens which can cause cancer. Burning food also destroys the nutrients (not sure by how much, though.) We do take in a small amount whenever we cook/bake/grill food. I don't think you have anything to worry about since you said it was pretty much toasted instead of burnt. :)

So you shouldnt eat burnt toast?? I always heard that burnt toast was good if you had a headache/migraine.

Thanks. I will weigh it raw. I would much rather over estimate on food than under estimate.

I havent posted since my initial post. July was an up and down month with doing really good for a few days and then overeating for a few days. But August has been better. My fiance is back and cooking dinners, but that hasnt been TOO bad. He is trying to lose weight for our wedding too, but he isnt counting calories, just trying to eat less. But I have been trying to estimate the dinner calories the best that I can. And, I am hoping to have my food scale soon!
