OM Can relate with you. WE are having the same in our office but it isn't flowers. We have had a mager back up in the office. has gone on since last week. We are suffering from mold. My collegue is really bad I keep waiting for hiom to have a major attack. I'm sicker than a dog by the time I get home due to my intolerence to mold. We have complained and complained. The matiance man keeps saying it's in our heads. Yesterday we had QA meeting with the Doctor of facility. I brought up this mold issue. 5 minutes after the meeting personnel was there to clean it up. Big surprise for them. They had to replace base boards of cabinet becuse they were satuated mold not only on outsides but also growing inside of them because they were just fiber board. I took it one step forward and pulled up the carpetting to show it was no longer clued down and revealed the mold under the tiles that the carpet was clued on. Arlis |

Arlis - 185 Clarie How trying these days are for you. In 2000 I was in the same boat My father was dying from lympthnolia cancer. I only lived 2 1/2 hours away but I always feared the worst while I was on the rode Dad was bed ridden in the hospital. For him his time was not coming quick enough. You could tell by the look in his eyes. from October- Jan. were hectic days. He rused the holliday celebrations. The stress and running back and forth to the hospital helped burn 4 pounds off. Robert was not realeased until Tuesday right before his stepfather's funeral. As for now he is fine. Waiting on the sonogram of heart results. So far everything has showed negative (no reason for reoccurring weakness spells)

Way to go My walk today was a no go. 80* and windy now, but spent from 1:30 PM till half an hour ago with Robert in the hospital. So far things are fine, but because of history with gluten intolerence and strokes they are keeping him overnight to keep an eye on him. So no walking to work tomorrow. Arlis |

Good morning all http://www.geocities.com/a_nuter_kruse/life_i n_kansas. I weighed in at 191, was actually dreading this weigh in, since I cheated by having a slice of birthday cake at work. I have discovered if I fix myself a snack pack of celery with fat free creem cheese and Smart balance peanut butter spread on top, sliced in bite sizes, triscuit fat free, and grapes or sliced apple to take to work. I snack on a couple of these items every hour and by lunch time I'm not as hungry. Then at lunch I will have weight watchers or other meal of the sort with a class of V8 low sodium never eating the whole meal. Also Health Smarth and progressive have wonderful soups of only 100 calories Arlis |

I envy you. Ever since I can remember I've always have been intrigued with light house. I have a longing to spend a week doing nothing but exploring light houses. I did get to exploring one light house in Honolulu in November, but it was not at a leisure pace. Keep up the work. Arlis |

I watch a special on Discovery. They were testing different foods for different affects. They concluded a diet high in protien stays with you longer than a diet of high carbs or fat. They also tested the affects of dairy products to aid in dieting. They concluded the calcium in dairy produts helps prevent the absorbtion of fat. They suggest if your dieting to eat high protein, fish, chicken, turkey with 8ounces of dairy, and recommended fiber, in each meal. I tried that today and I hunger cravings (snack) were not there that much Arlis |

Thanks Omagraf I will try your suggestions. Robert does drink high calorie suppliments/ soy based/ to prevent any cross contamination of gluten. He'd love a beer but it is a no no for him loL. My weekend was not a great weekend. I know it was too good to be true, I had not yet come down with the bug going around out work. This weekend consisted of broths and jello the bug caught up with me. To make matters even worse we had 5" of snow Saturday night grrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm going back to bed for I still feel terrible all take care. Hey throw this into your German Kruse. It is my maiden name yep full German blooded. Arlis |

OOOPppppppsssssssssssss allow me to introduce myself. I am Arlis, mother of two grown daughters, 2 dogs and 1 cat LOL. I am 44 heading to 45 as of April. Nov 16 2007 I be came Activity Director instead of House Keeper of Westview Manor. I passed my course 100%. This encouraged me more since I had not had any schooling since I graduated high school. I am 190 and hoping to get down to 135 by end of the summer. I enjoy the outdoors and this Kansas weather, keeps changing on me one day it can be beautiful and the next thing you know we are burried with ice and snow. Closest mall is 30 miles away, so I try to walk much at work. This is day one for me so any exercise suggestions are welcomed. I have noticed in my previous attempts if I cut out my diet sodas I have much better results, I also do not due much caffine for it causes me to constantly run to the restroom to urinate. Trying to locate a low carb list of vegetable and fruits that I can eat in place of the high ones my husband needs. I will post photo later since I just my computer cleaned out and updated. Photos are all on disc. Arlis K. Hirsch |

Hello mavmom I am willing to join you in this quest. I seem to have a problem losing then gaining right back. I need low cal, and low fat, but my husband needs high cal and fat. 2 years ago he fell ill spent 1month in hospital fighting for his life. The stress was too much and my diet went out the door, now I am going to try once again. My morning and afternoon meals are not a challenge for I eat them at work. My evening meal is the most difficult. My husband cooks the evening meal since he is disabled and now retired. He keeps in mind that he has to put on the weight. It's been a long difficult journey for him. When he came home he weighed 104 pounds he has slowly gained up to 124 pounds. His meals are very delious, but high in calories. What can I do?????????????????? I am stuck and wish not to discourage his weight gain. |

Hi I can fully help you out 1 1/2 years ago I nearly lost my husband. He spent 1 month in the hospital. the culprit was Celiac Disease/ He is allergic to any thing containing gluten. he can not have any produts that consist of wheat barley rye or oats. Try using potatoe flour, rice flour or corn flour. |
