HELP!!!!!

I've not been on for a few weeks and i'm so sick of being on a "life style change" (as i like to call it ) for a year now, so i decided to relax on my self a little and though i've only gained a pound i have gained 2inch round my waist 1inch onto my hips and 1inch onto my legs (thigh).  it feels like i'm going to struggle with this forever. 

So now i need a little support on getting back on track please, any advice for me??????

God jst think if i never took those few weeks out then i could be on here saying yipee i've lost another few inch and pounds but i'm not.  God i could kick myself.xxx

this week - 13stn 7

so theres a loss of 4lb again thank god i think (cross fingers and knock on wood) that my long stop of weight loss is behind me for the time being, long may it last,  good luck everyone for the rest of the week xxxx

i know how you feel i'm jst getting over the flu so i really hope your better soon theres nothing worse than feelin crappy eh. 

As far as i have been told (by fitness instructors and such) you should never excersise unless you feel 100% as your body jst wont cope, its in the process of trying to repair whatever is wrong with you so there is less energy to go anywhere else.  my advice is jst rest and take advantage of the time to yourself,  jst make sure to watch your cals and you'll be fine, if your getting itchy feet (as i did) talk a walk not to strenous but excersise all the same

Hi everyone, so i missed my weigh in yesterday and i never weighed myself all weekend i wz scared incase my scales laughed at me and told me to get off, all easter weekend i have ate nothing but crap, but i've been sick (had a throat infection and now have the flu) and when your sick who on earth wants to eat healthy so anywho i thought i'd be brave and face the scales and i could not belive it i have lost 4lb now this could be fake weight loss coz my diet has been terrible but i'm going to relish this moment as i have not lost anyhing for a month i'm now 13st 11 woop woop.  good luck for the rest of the week xxxx

i weigh myself most days but in saying that i dont really pay much attention to it as my Doctor weighs me every 3 months and thats the weigh in that really counts to me (i think if any set of scales are corrects it has to be your doctors set) xxx

hi there,

indian def has more cals than chinese but if you were to order have a dry chicken tikka no sauce, boiled rice, chappati(no butter on it) and plenty of salad (if you need a sauce then order rita its yogurt, mint and cucumber) thats prob the lowest cal thing you could order. i would say that your cal content in this meal would be less than 600cals (this is just a guess though).  all i can say is that i use to work in an indian restaurant for 5 years and the amount of oils and butters that they use in cooking is VERY high, so i would def go easy on the indian take outs

Well this week i've lost nothing not an oz but still its much better than last week when i gained, i must admint that i have not been to the gym since tuesday last week, i've serously not had the time so going to go to body attack tonight and then i'm going to the gym for 2hrs tomorrow, can only hope and cross my fingers that i will lose somthing this week,  good luck everyone xxxx

hi kaufmkk,  i've been doing this diet and workout since May07, i'm still loosing inches so i know that i really shouldn't moan, i don't think that it could be water retention as i do drink loads of water (stick a pin in me and i'll become a fountan) and i don't tend to eat any salt or add it to my cooking  (the mane reasons for this is because my daughter is still too young for it and when i work out and start to sweat the salt comes out too and stings my face).  I just got really dis-hartened when the scales went up xxxx

thanks kae, according to cc i'm ment to eat 1850 but my total for today so far is 1650 i might have a cup of tea before bed but thats me my stats are age 26, 5ft 7inch, 198lb, so does the amount that i am eating sound about right, and plus on the day that i'm not working out how much am i ment to eat ?????

ok so i never weighed in yesterday but i did today and now i'm really not happy......after staying the same for weeks i have now gained two pounds i cant belive it, i really want to cry,  what is the point in doing all my hard work in the gym (and i'm not kidding either i'm in there for an hour mon,2hrs tues, 1hr wed day off thurs 2hr friday) and eating all the right stuff when i'm going to gain weight any way:( sorry for complaing.

Hope everyone else is having better luck than me xxxx

hi there,

 

most scales do give you a different reading. the best way to keep a more accuret note of your weight is to try and weight yourself at the same time and in the same spot using the same scales for eg. in the gym my weight is 14stn7lb at home on my own scales my weight is 14stn and if i weight myself in the kitchen  my weight is different again,  so it is possable that you have lost, i suppose the best way to see if you have lost is to use the same scales down at your doc's or invest in your own set,  but don't weigh yourself to often as your weight can go up and down a few times through the week (water retention sucks)

the same thing happened to me and in the shop right there in front of the woman who mesured me i got panic stricken she just smiled at me and said this happens and when i lose another half stone (more or less depending on your body frame i imagine) it will more than likely come down again.  hope this settles you a bit. and good luck on your future slimeing xxxx

First of all big whoop whoop for your loss so far thats really great

 I think that sometimes you should vary your excersie routine so that you done get board of the same constant thing even if 1 day a week you use the cross trainer instead, that way it will keep you intrested for longer giving you better results in the long run.
