Hi Ladies, I must say I enjoy reading everyone's posts each day - I just need to get better at posting on the weekends. Friday night I had Fajitas and brown rice, not so bad but I also had a glass of wine. Saturday I had a fajitas for breakfast lol and then I didn't eat again until dinner (Quiznos, mmmmmmmmm) was totally stuffed after that but still managed to have some orange pop (my fav but always a treat) and some sour key rings :) Then I spent the whole night until 1:15 am painting..good workout for the arms! Sunday I went to Amherst with a friend for a family bbq. The dogs got to swim and we got to EAT! I had 2 glasses of wine, some seafood casserole to die for, some salad, coleslaw, and of course Choc covered strawberries.....not a great weekend but all in all, not that bad. I'm jealous of the Poutine Steph.....my fav but I always feel icky after eating it as well. Welcome to the group, newcomers! I'm going to weigh in on Friday for the first time in awhile. I'm heading to TO tomorrow for work and will be back on Thurs....probably won't eat much while I'm there! Take care all, and Happy Monday! NOT :p |

Sarah I saw Angels and Demons - it was good, but didn't like Tom Hanks...just as I didn't like him in Da Vinci Code. Oh well, I guess I'm not the person in charge of casting :p Beavertails......mmmmMMmmmm Steph I love 30 day Shred and I do feel much stronger already and I've only done it about 7 times, don't know the exact number. It's hard for me as I don't exercise much but I can spare the 25 min to do it and I really get a work out from it. Haven't tried the one you mentioned but my friend has it...maybe we should swap and I'll try it out...I like changing it up once and awhile. Today B: thin crust works pizza S: Banana L: whole wheat pasta salad with lots of veggies and a little feta S: piece of dark chocolate mmm D: Salad and tuna melt I'll have to figure out calories later but hopefully I'll be around 1500 |

If it tastes good, spit it out?? NO WAY lol. I'm trying to have one cheat day a week (Sat) usually turns into Sat and Sunday :p Oh well......... Everyone seems to be doing pretty good - it's hard to stay on track but I find this helps me. B: Cereal, 1 cup skim milk (290) S: Banana (110) L: Turkey wrap with spicy mustard, greens, peppers, carrots, 2 small choc chip cookies (~450) S: Yogurt (~70) D: 1 cup of chili w/1 slice of multigrain bread (~400) S: not sure.....maybe some apple slices I'll be around 1450, where I like to be on a usual day. I'll take Molly for a walk and do the 30 day shred again, I'm feeling stronger everyday :) |

Hey Ladies, I really need to get better at posting on the weekend, just never seem to be near a computer when the weather is nice! Friday night I drank way too much, my cousin graduated from Dal so we were celebrating, so I had a late night piece of pizza as well. Saturday I went out to Breakfast, 2 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast MMMmmmmMmM. Sat night I had pizza again, so good! Sunday I did pretty good. Had a bbq with my friend Ange, 1 bbq'd hotdog (my fav), macaroni salad and coleslaw, and one small piece of cake. Sunday night had a hash with left over ham and potatoes, peppers, onion...it was good but ended up being too salty! Today: B: Cereal, 1 cup skim milk (290) S: nothing...forgot my stuff L: 1 cup of chili, salad (~400) S: banana D: probably Chili again and salad...I'll eat more (~600) I'm going to do my shred video again. I did it on Sunday and last night...I'm alraedy feeling a lot stronger :)

Hi Everyone! Sorry I wasn't logging on the weekend - I was trying to enjoy my long weekend. I've planned to have a cheat day once a week, Saturday (can change if I have something going on). Well...let's just say my whole weekend was a cheat day :p Friday I was good - went to Subway and had a 6 inch turkey sub and went to see "Angels and Demons" (NO popcorn or pop!!) Saturday I had ice cream for breakfast, nachos for dinner. Sunday I had a homemade breakfast sandwich, ice cream and a couple bites of poutine and donair meat. Monday I had a breakfast burritos, tilapia and rice What a weird weekend........Oh and I had a bottle of wine and couple bottles of beer in the mix too. Today should be better: B: Banana S: Granola Bar L: Chicken wrap with rice/greens/cheese S: Yogurt D: Not sure yet .. Going to stick around 1500 as usual. Did the 30 min shred yesterday, can barely move today! Will attempt to do it again today and maybe a walk with Molly. |

Ha - Steph, 900 cals for chips :p I did pretty good yesterday, stuck to my plan and didn't have anything extra :-) I also did the 30 day shred (Jillian Michaels Vid) B: Cereal (~290) S: Pear (100) L: Deli sliced chicken wrap w/mustard, greens and a little bit of cheddar, Salad, chips (~500) S: Yogurt (~60) D: Chicken Risotto, salad (~400) That brings me to about 1350, so maybe I'll throw in something to make up another 150 cals. Doing the 30 day shred again tonight, and taking Molly for a walk Have a good day ladies :-) |

Hey Everyone! I don't usually post on the weekend so sorry about that! I have the winter blahs sooo bad! We just got hit with another snow/rain storm and the roads are like skating rinks...not good. Today was weigh in for me - Starting weight: 144 Last weeks weight: 143 This week: 143.5 (not surprising as I gorged myself with food this weekend :(

Everyone is doing so well with their meals - wish I could say the same for myself. I mean, I'm not over-eating but mine are pretty boring compared to everyone else's. B: Apple sauce, Banana S: Almonds L: Some type of broth based soup from Tim's or Chinese (my mom has a severe allergy to eggs and hasn't been able to eat them for 16 years, which includes chinese...she's getting retested today so we are hoping her allergy has disappeared!! And we'll celebrate :) D: Black forest ham (2) slices, horseradish, broccoli and carrots Not sure where I'll be calorie wise but I always try and stay around 1200 because I don't exercise much... |

Ok, so I'm really bad at posting on the weekend! Here is what I ate, in no particular order: Went out for breakfast with hubby sat morn - bacon, eggs, toast, hashbrowns, oj Had a girls night with my sister-in-law and some friends. I had: Spagetti, 1/4 piece of cheesecake, 2 martini's and 1 glass of wine Sunday - Kraft Dinner, Chips and taco dip OK - so here is the first weigh in for me :) Height - 5'6 Start Weight - 144 Goal Weight - 133 Today's Weight - 143 -----------------> DOWN 1 LB!!! Yayaya :) Hope everyone else did well :) |

Don't worry about over indulging yesterday...I know a lot of people who work in a cheat day - that can be yours :) B: Same cereal as everyday! 1 cup Maple Almond crunch, 1 cup skim milk (290) S: Banana (~70) L: Canned tuna in water, 2 ounce cheddar, 6 kashi crackers (~300) S: Apple sauce and tangerine (~65) D: No idea....maybe salad and couscous (i'm going to try and eat 500, so how)
I actually went for a run last night...surprised myself, almost died of course but felt great afterwards! |

I'm so happy that so many have joined! I swear this is the only thing that kept me sane and on target before my wedding, now I want to get back to that weight. B: 1 cup of Maple Almond crunch cereal, 1 cup skim milk (290) S: Banana (~70) L: 2 ounces of left over baked pork chops, 2 baby red roasted potatoes, carrots, 1 tsp of hummus (~350) S: V8 shot, 6 blackberries, 6 raspberries (~90) D: 2 cups of salad, 1 cup of pasta with veggies and tomatoes sauce (~500) S: ?? Total ~ 1300 I don't do any formal exercise really either. I'm not a gym person at all but what I DO love is Jillian Michael's 30 day shred video. I've never done the full 30 days but I did do it for 5 days straight and the results were unreal. I'm going to start it tonight and do the 30 days! It only takes 30 min and man is it worth it!!!! :) |

I personally don't enjoy the groups, I find them to hard to keep track of. What I did to lose before was created a forum like this and we just posted our meals/exercise everyday and gave advice and encouragement to others. Then we weighed in every Monday - I chose monday because it helped me stay focused on the weekend (my downfall) because I knew that I had to post my weight here for all to see! So next Monday will be the first one. Today's Menu B: 1 cup of almond crunch cereal, 1 cup skim milk, tangerine (310) S: Banana (~45) L: 1 slice of 12 grain toast, 1 tbsp of pb, big bag of carrots, 2 tbps of hummus (~250) S: Cran-apple sauce unsweetened (100) D: 1 baked pork chop, 2 baby red roasted potatoes, big salad (~400) S: 1 cup of less fat ice cream topped with blackberries and raspberries (~180) A little low today but I'm sure I'll sneak a chocolate or 2 here at work ~1285 |

I have a problem with exercising - I don't like it at all! However, I do enjoy walking and hiking. I walk to work every morning (20 min), at lunch (20 min) and home (20 min) and am going to start doing my Shred DVD again by Jillian Michaels from Biggest Loser (AWESOME vid if you do it!). I see people talking about how they are addicted to exercise and stuff but I just don't get it?! I really need to keep track of my eating too...I can be great for days and then all of a sudden i'm off track again :( Hoping this weigh in group will help me stay motivated - it worked before, so lets hope it does again!! I would also love to join!! I'm 5'6 - 138 lbs. I was down in weight before my wedding in August but have since gained it back. I'd like to be down to around 129-130. First weigh in on Monday the 27th sounds great....will we post about what we eat and how much we exercise too? Thanks for starting this group - I need the motivation :) |

Steph, you are doing awesome! Keep up the good work girl :) Yesterday wasn't that good, but I'm not going to beat myself up! I'm headed out for a conference at Keltic Lodge tonight until Wednesday so I should be fine, never eat that much at those. Yesterday: B - Granola Bar, Apple sauce 2 S - 2 halloween size kit kat bars L - Chili and Garlic Bread from Tim Hortons S - Halloween size coffee crisp bar D - 2 small slices of pizza S - Half a big bag of lays dill pickle chips! Yikes!! Oh well......
