Wednesdays goals: 1. Go to the gym for cardio, at least 30 min, see if I can get up to 45 min. No, didn't have time, so I did 15 minutes at home until I was interuppted. 2. Drink lots of water (not counting one smoothie for breakfast) Yes 3. Be positive and smile, even things get really tough. Yes 4. Read for Social Statistics. No... :( Well I did good on Wednesday counting my calories and staying under the bar, so that should help since I didn't do much cardio. Yesterday I got 22 minutes of cardio in before I did my weight training session and then 5 min. afterwards, so that kind of makes up for wednesday. Yesterday I only had 1245 calories ! :) Go Me! Todays Goals: 1. Continue counting calories (this will be a goal until I don't have to remember to do this!) 2. Drink water (this is a day when I tend to give into food, soda, etc.) 3. Smile :) |

Yesterday's Goals: 1. Drink waterNo, only at the gym. 2. Really push myself while weight training today, work up a real sweat.Yes 3. count calories, eat only 1-2 slices of pizza at anthro.club meeting. Yes, I only ate one slice of cheese pizza. 4. study for test tomorrow No, but I hope it goes well... I should know everything anyways... hopefully... Yesterday, I started out counting my calories on this website, then I got busy, however I did count my calories overall and I stayed under 1400. I stepped on the scale this morning and it says I'm up 1 lb. I don't feel too good about that, it makes me wonder what I'm doing wrong... I mean, I haven't entered my cal in this website but I still counted them and didn't go over 1400. Maybe its because I lifted weights yesterday? it makes me feel the pressure to go do cardio today, I just don't know when I'll have time, maybe this evening. Today I will do much better! Yesterday's goals: 1. Drink water No... 2. Meet with nutrionist Yes, and it went well. 3. Study for tests that I have this week Big no... :( But I will... 4. Count calories No, but I kinda counted in my head... So yesterday didn't go that well on the goals front, however I'm pretty sure I still stayed under 1400 calories. Today I will drink more water, and probably pay in the gym for not drinking it yesterday, the more hydrated I am the better my body reacts to working out. Todays goals: 1. Drink water 2. Really push myself while weight training today, work up a real sweat. 3. count calories, eat only 1-2 slices of pizza at anthro.club meeting. 4. study for test tomorrow

1. Drink water when I go to my dads house (I am so tempted to drink like 4 cans of soda when I'm there) Yes, only drank water :) 2. Limit what I eat at my dads, make sure I can count the calories. I can't count the calories, not sure what most of it was. 3. Not angry/frusterated over small things (easy for me to do since I'm so busy and constantly packing my childern up to go see or do something.Didn't get angry or frusterated today. 4. Do everything for myself, don't let anyone get me something, since I'm not working out today I should take every chance to take an extra step when I can. Yes, mostly, fiance got me something once. 5. Count my calories (yesterday got away from me, I was afraid to step on the scale today, but it was ok, its a good thing I worked out yesterday.)Didn't, we ate at two other peoples houses today. My goals for tomorrow are: 1. Drink water 2. Meet with nutrionist 3. Study for tests that I have this week 4. Count calories

1. Drink water. (I'm not putting a specific amount, because I won't have my Sigg bottle with me all day, I'll be out running around a bit) Yes, I even drank water at the dinner. 2. Meet with my personal trainer to do weight training, push myself (kind of easy, he pushes me! :) )Yes, though, I was late because I didn't realize that it had snowed 4inches already. 3. Don't drink soda until I go to the dinner at 4pm.(Special dinner with friends at a church, a couples only thing)Yes, I drank water at the dinner, when I came home I had about 6 oz. of 7up. 4. Don't eat sweets until the dinner, when at the dinner, limit to what I know I can find the caloric intake of. Yes, but at the dinner I ate like 7 chocolate hearts :( But I fought off the urge to have chocolate as my late night snack and chose wheat bread with peanut butter instead, it has calories, but more nutrition. I didn't go to the indian trade fair show yesterday, I was too busy. The romantic dinner went well. More fun than romantic, but thats good. Goals for today: 1. Yesterdays Goals: 1. Drink a whole bottle of water! (Again, my sigg size bottle)No, but I'm going to today! 2. Write Archaeology paper (this am before 10:10 am)Wrote about 2 pages, but I found out it wasn't due until Monday, so I stopped and ate lunch. 3. Drink 12 oz. or less of soda.Sort of, I only drank 12 oz. of pepsi, but then at dinner time I had some raspberry iced tea (21 oz.) which is almost the same as soda. 4. Don't eat junk food, like Oreos or cake.No, I at one Oreo, 1.5 tiny squares of a symphony bar, and one 60 calorie airhead. 5. Play the wii or ddr this evening (for some fun, relaxed, entertainment and exercise)No, I got back too late and was tired. 6. If I eat out, eat at Subway and pay attention to calorie intake.Yes, I only ate about 280 calories, I got my sub without mayo. To analyze yesterday, I only met one of my goals, the Subway goal. Even though I ate some sweets and soda, my calorie intake was around 1360 (give or take 10), which I consider to be pretty good. However, that doesn't mean I'm not going to continue to not try harder to meet my goals. Goals for today: 1. Drink water. Goals from yesterday: 1. Not to Wuss out during my 30 minute cardio session on the eliptical. Didn't wuss out, I rocked! 2. Drink at least one bottle of water (My sigg bottle, no idea how many ounces it is, but I don't drink that much a day at the moment so its a big step). No. I didn't drink one whole bottle... I didn't even get close, but I will try harder today! 3. Only drink 12 ounces or less of soda. Yes, I only drank one 12 oz can, which is pretty darn good for me! :) 4. Write Archaeology Paper No, I'll have to do this this morning. 5. Write Reading Response for Envir. Anthropology This would have been extra credit, had I done it. so in short, No. 6. Don't eat junk food (Lucky Charms for breakfast not included in the junk food category, yet) No. I ate 4 Oreo cookies, thats 280 calories, I should have ate the peaches. Okay, so I achieved 2 of my goals yesterday, out of 6, which isn't exciting when looking at the statistics, but I did do 2 pretty awesome ones, I have a hard time exercising, but my personal trainer made it fun, and I did it! I felt like I could go another 15 minutes! The soda intake was way better than it usually is, I believe I usually drink about 3, 20z bottles of soda a day. My goals for today! 1. FiguretheFat, Good job biking to work, eventually I intend to bike to school, I'm about 1 mile away, but I have to bike my oldest son to his grandmas before I go to school, which makes it a 2.5 mile trail, with bridges and hills, but I did it last year a couple of times. |

Hey, So, It's been a while since I've been on here. However, I need to seriously change my patterns of living, so here I am. I am enrolled in a weight loss class through my college, and its cool, because they assign you a personal trainer, I met with him on Tuesday and I did some weight training. Today I'll be meeting with him for a cardio session. My personal trainer is great, because I can't miss appointments with him, which should keep me exercising. My goals for today are: 1. Not to Wuss out during my 30 minute cardio session on the eliptical. 2. Drink at least one bottle of water (My sigg bottle, no idea how many ounces it is, but I don't drink that much a day at the moment so its a big step). 3. Only drink 12 ounces or less of soda. 4. alevin-- Will my weight go up first when I am building muscle and then go down? Cause I've gained 3 lbs (in like 2 weeks about the same amount of time that I've started the biggest loser videos)... but feel pretty good. I did the front side workout yesterday, but I don't feel like I got as much out of it as I should have... I think I'm going to try the workout today again since I'm not feeling sore or tired from yesterday. Goals;

Leo-- I agree about getting out of bed being the hardest part! Water will repair your muscle, I try to hold a bottle of water whenever I watch t.v. it makes me drink more and I eat nothing, I just sip my water... Thats one major way that I have upped my intake of water, as well as doing crazy hard exercises that make my throat burn so I need water Went on the scale today... Depressing... A little while ago I was at 162... now I'm 164.8... Maybe its muscle? I have been doing more weight training? Or maybe its the soda and Easter food.... Oh, dear me... Must think positive... I ate only 1428 calories today and exercised for a half hour (I plan on doing a little more weight lifting after I finish my recap) leaving me with a deficit of 500 without counting whatever I do tonight. Ohio-- That is very eery... I have been doing better at drinking more water and can tell the difference in my mood and on my lips, they have been cracked and I was having a hard time getting them to heal, but since my water intake has upped my lips have healed faster. Goals for today:

Leo- Oh, Sorry that your break is over... But at least its like you have two since you get a 3 day weekend for Easter! Ohio-- I think I'm a little lost... Are the boxes that you are dealing with just from storage and you want to clear it out? Or are you moving? Thank you everyone for being so nice and thoughtful about my headache! It's finally gone! Woo-Hoo! It was freaking terrible, I never used to get such bad headaches... I didn't have goals for today, but I stayed below 1500 calories. I've been thinking about weighing myself once a week and see how that goes, cause lately the scale has been all over the place... I'm trying so hard, and it doesn't seem to matter how much I workout (as far as the scale goes, but I feel healthier??) I can't seem to lose at all. Maybe its my lack of water so my muscle can't restore itself after I work out? Any Ideas? Pace! |

Weekends really get me..It's like I plan to not be busy, but then I'm running around everywhere! I'm so excited!!! My spring break officially started 2 minutes ago when I finished my test! 1 Week off!!! I'm so excited! I may be at 162... but I have another 30 lbs. to lose, and I'll still be considered overweight by my doctor (I'm 5 feet tall exactly). Ok...Not exactly motivational...I've turned into my sisters! Not to fear, la motivatar is here! <I know its not real spanish, but its fun! Ok...So, didn't set goals, Sunday is usually my day off, but today I did great! I had 1 soda (very good for me!) and I drank at least 32 ounces of water. Ate healthy all day, only ate about 1400 calories (with going to my parents for lunch and dinner!) I also did the backside workout video, the biggest loser one, very hard!! My fiance, who weighs less than me and 9 inches taller, had to stop not even half way through! Can't wait to set goals for tomorrow I'm so proud of what I did today! Goals for tomorrow! Health and Fitness:

Ohio! -- Congratulations on the weight loss!!!! I'm at 162 and I can't seem to get rid of it... On the note of not losing weight... I lost 1 pound in a week (I consecutively weighed 1 lb. less) then I got it back... I don't seem to be doing something right... maybe it is the soda, but I try to drink a bottle of water with every soda, I should just cut it, but its so hard... I'm also having a hard time staying motivated I start eating bad at about 9:30 at night, I wish I could just go to bed, but I have to pick my fiance up from work... I can't wait until he can ride his bike to work. Another note about my weight. I hate clothes, I feel so disproportionate. My legs are a nice size a little big, but they don't match my big waist. When I buy pants it is so hard! I am also only 5 ft. tall. So I have to buy pants that are big in the waist, small in the thighs, and short...Impossible!!! I decided a while ago that I wouldn't buy any more pants or clothes until my stomach is smaller...but now I'm wearing the same few things over and over and over... I just want to lose some weight and fit properly into clothes!!!! The only goal I had for today was to go water class at YMCA, but I didn't because I woke up a half hour late and remembered I had to take my son to a homeschool meeting that was during the class. Optimism: I'm confused as to the usefulness of being optimistic over realistic... but it seems that I have accomplished the most when I'm optimistic and don't believe that reality is the best it could be and that I can change it. However realistic seems realistic, I don't get let down much, I expect good and bad things to happen. But I'm happier being optimistic and I stay calm and have a so-what attitude if things go bad. Don't eat rice krispy treats! Didn't eat krispy treats, did eat out, had cheeseburger from sit down restaurant with salad. 5. Fig- The time thing caught me a bit! Re-cap: 1. Take Sy shopping to get video game for big brother Austin's birthday. Yup, went great! 2. Eat between 1200-1400 calories (might be hard, I'm going to a birthday party, I know they will have lots of unhealthy to choose from!!!) Nope, not so great, not so great at all!! The party did me in! I did really good started out with carrots, cantaloupe, and mashed potatos for the meal...But then dessert...Rice Krispy Treats! I ate a thousand calories in rice krispy treats! I don't know how to feel about it, they were sooo good... But so damn evil to my body! I didn't exercise todaty either! 3. Relax, no videos today. Very happily did this! 4. Go to sleep at decent time so I wake up to go to water class tomorrow. Haven't gone to bed yet, but it looks like I'll be up until midnight...I should still make it to my water class. 5. Figure out finances Nope, got carried away with time preparing and going to party. 6. Study for and take Chem. and Lit. quizzes tonight. Doing that right after I'm done, I'm so glad I get to use my book! 7. Smile Did this a lot! Smiles are very catchy! My family really needs them so I smiled a lot! Happy Sunday! Today is going well, got up at 6 but it was actually 7 because of the time change. Found my littlest, Sy, in his crib without his diaper on, more laundry to do...All well he's so cute it doesn't matter. Hello lauraleigh. I hope you like it here, I've only been here a little while but I like it very much.
Goals for Today: 1. Take Sy shopping to get video game for big brother Austin's birthday. 2. !Hola! Leopard-- I wouldn't blame it on "blackitude" but rather that she does have issues. Depending on what kind of person she is, it might be a little helpful to get up an hour after she goes to bed and make some noise. Is there any way to talk to anyone about the problem? Here at UW-Oshkosh students can complain, they investigate the complaint, and if it keeps happening they usually threaten to throw the room mate out... Which is generally enough for people around here, they dont' get their money back. Nice one on the fiber. Ohio-- WooHoo! Yay for refunds on med. bills! Figure-- Thats awsome that your petsitter is so on top of things... Should make you feel better! jennlett-- Congratulations on your Chem midterm! I hate disputing grades... But if you don't and its something stupid, the stupid will just keep flowing.
As for me, I'm doing alright, feel bad that I haven't kept up on cc... I was oddly busy, I didn't expect to be. I had a funeral to attend 2 days ago, that was weird, saw the first dead person I've ever seen. It was like she wasn't there, it was just her body, it didn't seem as sad... Does that make sense? I've been trying to figure out when to transfer schools, and everyone is giving me mixed dates on when I should. I have had 3 different advisors tell me different things. Goals for today: 1. Quick, recap...I'm tired.
1. Get Literature homework done... Yes... 2. Do Chemistry homework. Not yet. 3. See dentist (for a cleaning) Yup, hurt like hell...I hate when they clean my teeth. 4. Do one exercise video Nope...took kids to public school carnival instead. 5. Don't eat out Well, no...Today was a fast paced day, but I ate at subway and had lite may, had spinach on sandwich with the lettuce, then of course carrots and turkey. 6. Have to go to a funeral tomorrow... Must remember to drink water tomorrow... Try not to be crabby to my fiance, I should just realize that no matter where I go with him, we will never be on time (right when I'm ready to walk out the door, the two kids all ready, he stops and has to brush his teeth, and then fix his hair (which is impossible, its so short it can only lay one way) and do something else thats not necessary when in a hurry.
