I've been looking to up my protein intake as well. Recently at the grocery store I found Smart Strips and Smart Deli in the produce aisle. These are handy packages of "meats" made out of soy. There was "baked ham", "pepperoni", and "turkey." My favorite is the "chicken strips" - only 80 cals per serving but 14 grams of protein. That fits both your vegetarian and protein needs! |

No. She does not deserve any congratualtions for starving herself. But at least she asked the question. Yes...she could have read the answer in 1000 other posts. But she asked. At least she thought about it. |

doesn't the excercise and matching calories just negate each other? If I add 250 cals and excercise 250 cals worth...then it still equals zero added...right? |

Justin...step away from the cupboard! Remember...Mrs. Fields is evil! Remember the story about someone buying one of her recipes for two-fifty thinking it was $2.50 then turned out to be $250? Well..that just goes to show you that Mrs. Fields is evil! and the Doritos? Well...Frito Lay never did any body any good! Seriously though, I feel you pain...I had a hankerin' for something not-so-good for me last night my self. So I had some oreo cookies and a glass of milk. I loved EVERY bite of it.
So...today...I am back on track. I've had just about 700 cals between breakfast and lunch. Will have a snack this afternoon at about 100 cals the reamining 450 for dinner. Don't beat yourself up for slipping today. We all slip. Just get yourself back on track for the rest of the day, drink plenty of eater and try to go out for a walk or something. That'll help burn up some of those empty cals you took in today. Tomorrow is another day and you'll do fine! Hey...at least the milk is good for you! |

Way to go sista! I'm in exactly the same boat. 8 down...8 to go! I love the fact that when I sit down, my stomach doesn't bulge out on me anymore! AND I don;t feel so blaoted all the time now. It's a great feeling, isn't it? |

I'm going out for Chinese food tonight (not my choice!). Does anyone know of ANY Chinese food that is not loaded in calories and sodium? I need some healthy choices! |
