I started the HCG/VLCD on Wednesday of this week and it is now Sunday, I am down 7 pounds already, the process is very scientific and interesting, if you look at www.hcgslimagain.com it is a website for a local clinic here that sets you up on the program, supervised by a doctor and a nutritionist. Also the books by Kevin Trudeau help to explain everything, there is a manuscript on the link i have listed for informational purposes as well. The injections are done into your fatty tissue aka your midsection with an insulin needle- but can also be administered into muscle tissue with a much larger needle, or the mixture can be mixed so as to be administered sublingualy - under your tongue - via mouth. The dose is nothing near that for purpose of steroid/bulking up sometimes used by body builders, nor that for prepubesent boys. It is also far lower than even that of a pregnant woman. But when you think of how women during their first trimester can be so deathly ill unable to eat even a cracker it is hard to understand where her nutrients are coming from, they are indeed coming from the fat reserves she has stored up - that we all have stored up. Taking the hormon leads to your body utilizing those same reserves. To date I have had no negative side effects, feel extreamly full, and have lost weight. My mother who has been on the program since Oct 7th (Today being Nov 23) has lost 32lb and dropped only 2 pounds of lean body mass, so 30lb of fat. It is not for everyone, such as atkins, zone, cabbage soup..... but it works for me. Thanks! |

| Your dinner although high in calories is not all bad... considering once it is busy you are running around serving which burns mega-calories.... so limit yourself to one dish before work choose something semi-healthy and only 1/4 loaf. I was my thinnest when I was a waitress because I was always going and you are lifting weights alllllll night ... plates/trays/drinks .... so it is not reallly all bad. It was switching to my desk job that killed me..... I ate the same as waitressing but didnt burn it off soooo I gained and gained.... just remember you get your butt kicked and if you are like i was ... that is usally my only meal of the day or some small meal a bit later.... just look at the big picture...it may not be as bad as you think | |||

| chicken tortilla soup - bowl - 140cal
Garlic lime shrimp - 260cal 2 servings broccoli - 160 cal Total - 560 for a filling meal and not too unreasonable for dinner out as long as you budget your calories for it. And fairly good choices.... delete the soup or switch to a cup to save calories but that type of soup keeps you full longer and you probably wont eat all your dinner BEWARE==== alll appetizers and the chips!!!! |

| I love them and for me they have not made me hungry ..... probably because the fiber fills me up and keeps me full. I also found that the carmel tastes more like butterscotch but good all the same.
For those of you who like fiber the All Bran Strawberry Medley is very good and has 40% of daily fiber in 1c. 170 caloreis....mmmmm I might just go have a bowl now... I love fiber loaded things! |

| I love my IUD.... It has been so nice to not have to worry about that aspect of my life
Being married, not wanting kids has made the IUD perfect for me... my cramping on insertion was not bad at all. Interesting enough 3 years ago I was on vacation in Australia and had apendicitius. The hospital I went to was cathloic all the nurses were called 'sister' like the nun... anyway .. when i was under and they were taking out my appendix... they also removed my IUD due to it being contraception!!!! can you beleive it. I was so angry and apparently that was not odd to anyone there. As soon as I got back I went back to my doctor who put another in. uggh ... Anyway..... If it was only 99.9 percent effective I would be pregnant... hahahaha but I thank goodness am not. Best of luck |

| Older younger.... dated them all....older by 15 and younger by 8 ... my husband is 4 years older. What I find is that when they are closer in age there are similar drives, social exposure and interests that motivate the relationship. I prefer closer in age but is not one of my top 10 criteria for a mate.... many things matter far more such as hygine and ambition just for starters. Good luck!! | |||

| Well first off what happens is that when you get tired your body thinks it is hungry because it needs to recooperate for energy.... so it says either feed me or go to bed cause I am done!
For me it helps to plan my calories so i have a snack about an hour before bed and drink plenty of water until i do go to bed. This seems to help. That is why if people dont get enough sleep they tend to be overweight because they mistake the body's natural signs it is tired and feeds instead so the body is able to stay awake on new calories..... |

| when you do rows ..... pretend like you are trying to get your shoulder blades to touch and that gives you proper form to feel it on those muscles. Also the piece of equipment that is angled with the platform on the base a tower that goes up and pads at hip height .... bend in half by leaning forward on it and coming back up those strengthen my back... also try kneeling on the ground with your upper abdomin and chest leaning on a stability ball at an angle.... take 3/5 lb weights and lift your arms from the ground straight up so they are extended straight .... those help me.... also you can look at the fitness magazines online and they give lots of pointers and tips for specific toning exercises | |||

Yeah my BMI is still 31.5, my frame is medium (can touch my fingers around my wrist) I have a large chest and curves. I would like to loose another 20 putting me at 155-158 and hopefully that will drop me from my tight 10's comfy 12's to a 6/7 ish... I weight train 3 times a week and cardio about 5 each for an hour. Hoping that I can get to where I want with out loosing too much lean muscle since it burns the calories... Getting there.... slowly day by day.. pound by pound.... thanks CC and the goup you all keep me going |

| weird coating in your mouth, costs quite a bit, they also sell the powder separate... doesnt mix completely... its gimicky in my opinion... and i didnt feel much more full till my next meal .... just my perspective | |||
