I stepped on the scale today and finally saw 159!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy, didn't think I would get this far! I have lost a total of 20 lbs, since June 15th! Buy anyways, where did everybody go? |

I am stuck!!! For the past 3 or so weeks I have been stuck at 165- 164. I can't seem to break it! Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can break the cycle? |

Hey arctic- well I was riding the stationary bike for cardio and the balance ball for strenght training, and I like doing that it was working for me. However I was starting to get bored with it. I still do the bike but not as much, I now use the firm video with the weights, and I really like that, I feel like I actually get a workout. I really want to go to the gym but I dont have the money for it, nor do I have a babysitter to watch the kids while I go. So I have to find other ways to get my exercise in. But now that school is starting I am going to start walking the kids to and from school, so on top of what I am doing, I will be getting a 4 mile walk in everyday. |

Well I wanted to hit 158 by the time school started, And I didnt quite make it. I am 6 pounds shy =( But I started a brand new workout for my self, it is alot more work for me. Which is good, I think I was getting used to my old workout. And I like a varitey. I dont like to do the same old things everyday, I get bored with it easliy. So lets see how this one works out for me. On another note how is everyone? We all just kinda disapeared, well I am back so hopefully everyone else gets back one here! |

Hey where is everybody at? I know I haven't been on in a while. I went threw a depression stage, I couldn't drop any weight. But this morning I stepped on the scale and I dropped 2 lbs! its not much but at least I am out of my platue stage. I am now at 166! Anyway I hope everyone is doing fine, Lets get the talking going again! |

Hey arctic, I am the same way I have been eating more than my 1250 cal and I put on 2 lbs also. So I am going back down again to my 1250 and keeping it at that, I tried keeping my deficit at 500 but all its doing is either gaining or staying put. try doing whats right for you and your body, see how that works out for you. I am going back to my deficit of 750-900. |

Thats really good arctic. I still feel fat =( I havent seen a difference yet. My mom keeps saying I look different, but I still feel the same. Although it is discouraging I'm not giving up. I do feel different I feel more energetic and stuff but feeling skinny is gonna take a while for me. Even tho I lost a total of 12 lbs, I still have about 45 to go. |

Congrats on the weight loss arctic! I am proud to say I dropped another pound! I am down to 168!!!! Hopefully by the time my children go back to school I will be 158! |

I know that with having all of my children my belly went back to normal everytime. Expect child number 4, But I am working on it and I know mine will go down just like it did before! |

Hey Keegi- I am where you at, I am 25 I gave birth a year ago, I used to be 125, and now after 4 kids I am at 169. I started the calorie count about 6 weeks ago, I was 180, and went to 169, I know what you mean about still being in maternity colthes, I just went into normal colthes not to long ago. I like this calorie counting, I burn about 2100 calories and I eat 1350 a day. I also change it up as well. You have to make sure you matain a deficit of 500 cal per day. Ex- If you burn 1850 cal a day you should eat 1350, but if you are exercising then you need to eat more cause then your body will go into starvation mode. On days you don't exercise then you should eat less. I also have been following the 12 week exercise program that this website offers, and I find that to help alot. My stomack still looks as tho I am 6 months pregnant, but after 6 weeks of this program I can see a difference in the way my shirts are fitting me. You are still young and If this is your first child, then you will having no problem losing the belly. Just stick to you diet and don't forget to alternate cardio and strenght training. |

I am proud to say that I stepped on the scale this moring and I was at 169!! I haven't seen that in a couple of years! Lets hope that I keep going down! |

Yeah exercising does clear my head too. my problem is when problems occur in my life I try to fix it all in one day, running out of time to exercise. But I am getting better at that too. |

sevekuh- That's just it. It shows that the courts already proved him quitly. It all went to court. I have to prove that it was never him that went to court. half of the court dates that past he was out to sea last year. But I did catch a little break, I got ahold of the dealership of the car that was under his name. and they are goning to give me a certitifed letter stating that my husband never bought that car. So one task down, now I have to prove that he did not commit the charges with that vehicle. But anyway, I know what you mean with the motivation, I would go 2 weeks strong and someone would happen and I would quit. so now with all of this going on, I am trying really hard not to quit. So far I have slacked a little but I havent quit and I am not going to. |

Thank you ajde, and yes he is deployed, which is going to make it even harder. But if I have to I will hire a lawyer. But anyways, yes the wii fit is a good workout if you stick to it. My mom has that and we all get on it. It is pretty cool. My daughter is 8 and was weighing at 80 lbs. Which for her it is considered overweight. And although we do not tell her that, we get her on and she has a ball. With in the past serveral weeks she has dropped down to 74 lbs. |

Hey all, Just checking in, wanted to let everyone know that I have lost another lb!! It makes a total of 9 lbs in 5 weeks!! Now for a rant, this week has been hard, I having been working hard on clearing my husbands name and do not have time to work out. I do not know how I lost that pound, cause I only done my workout 3 times this week instead of 6. I hate dealing with dmv and trying to prove that the man they say comitted these crimes is not my husband. And he can't even help cause he is overseas. I am affraid that when he finally does come home, they will send him to jail. So next week I will be going to two different courts trying to get ammendments and then sitting at dmv trying to prove that he does not own certain cars. What a pain in the you know what! |

Yeah I know I don't need the surgery to get healthy, it just sucks that they are gonna lose it faster then me. And even if I could get the surgery, I don't think I could go threw with it. I like they way I eat now and I don't want to change it drastically like they have to. As far as the soda, I would try stopping that and see how that goes. I use to be a BIG pepsi drinker, in fact thats all I would drink. Then when I went on this, I started drinking just water. I think that had to do with me dropping my 8 lbs quickly. Granted I went threw a 3 day head acke, I think it was withdraw, but I feel alot better with water then I do with soda. Also I don't weight myself everyday. It gets me discouraged when I don't see any weight come off. I weight myself once a week. That might help, I don't know much about all of this, I am still learning, but it might help you. |

Hello all, just wanted to rant a bit. And I know this is gonna sound selfish, but I can't help it. So ok, my sister had been overweight all her life, and so has my mom. Well my sister just went threw weight loss surgery, and my mom is about to do it too. I am very happy for them, I believe they are doing the right thing, cause they have the high blood pressure and the diabeties. However I guess I'm jelous cause I am used to being the skinny one. (before I put this weight on) so now I fear that they are gonna be smaller than me and I'm gonna be the big one. I know it sounds horrible but I feel like this weight is not gonna come off like I want it to. And of course I'm clasified as obese but still too small to have the surgery (not that I want it) I just hate that I have no choice but to take the weight off myself, where as they have to option of getting help with the surgery. |

Yeah I know what you mean, my husband is out to sea right now, but he would show up with my favorite ben and jerrys icecream, and I would get so mad at him! But my down fall is I would actually eat it! So I guess it is good that he is out to sea right now, cause it is so much easier to lose weight with him gone =) |

I went out of town this weekend, and I didn't count my calories, in fact i didn't even watch what i ate! I hate that I don't understand why I cant follow my diet when i am out of town. but luckly I did not gain any weight! I didn't lose either. So lets hope this week is a good one for me! |

Thank you for that incite. I think I got it. I have been eating only 1200 calories, and maitainig my deficit between 500 - 600. But there have been a couple of times i noticed my deficit in in the 1000's. Now I know i have to eat a bit more on the days I do more excercise than usual. I am proud to say since last week I have lost a pound and a half! I am now at 172. I have 49 Pounds to go!
I do know about gaining wieght quickly. 3 weeks before my husband deployed, we spent most our time at home and eating out. I gained 15 lbs in those 3 weeks. It sucked, and thats why I am so detreminded to take all this weight off for good! But yes as soon as I started the calorie count and exercising everyday, I can already feel the difference in my clothes. I mean it is only week 4, and i have lost a total of 7.5 lbs. So to me that is a big difference and I know I am on my way. With the help from you guys helping me to understand everything I need to know. Thank you guys so much! |

Oh ok I get it thanks, now that I looked at it and am avergaging 500-600 daily. So then I'm not doing to bad. Good I thought I was doing things all wrong. One more question. What if the deficit goes higher than 500? is that a bad thing or a good thing? |

Well the exercise is pretty good for me I am doing cardio and strenght training at least 6 days a week, the calorie counts hard i dont really understand it, like what does deficit mean, I thought we shouldnt have less than 1200 a day. and salt is a problem, everything that i eat thats low calorie is high in salt. so i get confused on how much salt i should be having. if you help that would be great. |

Hello I am just starting out, and would like to be able to talk about it. I started out 180lbs, and I am trying to entually get to 125. I started the 2nd week of June I lost 6 lbs, but it seems like thats gonna be it. Does anyone have advice for me? |
