| I love the scale it helps me keep going in the right direction. I try not to get too flipped out if I see it go up a few pounds from one day to the next. There are lots of different variable for why that can be. I also try only to weigh in every day at the same time early in the morning, after a trip to the bathroom.
It's probably just water weight. In any case I thought you might enjoy my new picture :) Lulu |

| Hello there, I homeschool my three children, and it works well for us. It does take a lot of time and commitment. It's a job. I have actually created a school room in my house. This way the only things I have to focus on are my children and what lessons they are learning that day. We take many field trips and belong to a local homeschooling support group. I know of many teens who are in college now after being homeschooled and are doing quite well. Best wishes Lulu |

| Hi there,
I can relate to this I love ranch dressing :~( I have been using a really good balsamic vinager and a bit of crumbled feta cheese. It's pretty good ! Also I used to make fun of my sister for this but I bought it out of desparation; spray butter It has no calories and it really taste like butter ! It's not bad on toast either. Hope this helped a little Lulu |

| Hello,
I just had a hankering for Mexican food so I made turkey Chili (with lean turkey) you can drain any fat. The light sour cream to me is better then the fat free, but Kraft fat free shredded cheddar cheese is surprisingly tasty. I bought smaller Pyrex bowls and I fill a bowl about 3/4 of a cup cut up onions tomatoes maybe one olive a tablespoon of cheese and sour cream and then I only take about 5 chips to eat with it. It was really good. The trick was not going back for more ;) Sometimes I purposely try to take a small helping initially so I can feel like I am getting seconds. It's a mental thing I guess. :) Lulu |

| Thanks Slappy and to everyone else too :)
I really appreciate reading and hearing that I am not alone in this. It's been a great encouragement for me to find this site. I am going to keep working on it and if I don't make any progress I might try looking for one of those stabilizers Lulu |

I wasn't sure if there was some sort of trick to it. I guess the trick is to get a stronger core. I will keep working on it. Thank you for the info on that Lulu |

| This is to Tammi,
I think eating many small meals helps rev back up your metabolism. Liquid vitamin b helps, also I take chewable vitamin c with that. weight training helps because muscle burns more calories. Hope that helps |

| Hi jsun,
Did you or anyone else feel this way ? Is there some sort of trick for not falling off the ball, or does it just take practice ? When I try to do sit ups I feel like I'm gonna fall off and break my neck. Am I doing something wrong ? Thanks Lulu |

| I tend to agree with the moderation approach.
I would probably wait until the end of the day save up some calories and savor a glass of soda (if that's what I crave) Have one glass and dump the rest down the sink. That's just me though ;) We can do it ! LuLu |
