I'm a US University student. There's about a month left of spring semester.
I have an exam today, huge paper due friday, have to get together a presentation to present to class on monday, and another exam on monday.
So Stressful!!
I must say, I'm glad I don't have a dissertation to do.

I'm glad you had a good time! Was it like a water aerobics class or were you swimming laps? I swam laps in my pool during the summer, but it got so boring! lol

Weight Loss Calories, Calories, Calories... Mar 30 2008

1600 is a reasonable target. I don't think aerobics and weight training 3x a week would be considered 'hard exercise' as phord calculated.

I'm a university student to and spend a lot of time sitting in class, or behind a computer working, but hey we still opportunities to move! Walking to class, going out, there's always a chance to move a little. =)

Weight Loss ? about burn meter, new here Mar 22 2008
18:17 (UTC)

Since you've upped your burn meter you should probably no longer log all the extra stuff. Moderate activity is described as

  • At work - you are very active much of the day
  • At home - you rarely sit and do heavy housework or gardening
  • Exercise - you exercise several times a week and push yourself pretty hard
  • That should account for all the activities you were logging.

Right now, I have my burn meter set to sedentary and log only what I do at the gym.

I'm 21, around 130 pounds, and 5'5". So it's not a low body fat percentage. Typically, I try to eat around 1500 calories, and a couple days a week I go up to around 2000 calories.
The last time I went to the doctor was dec and everything was good then. This was after my period resumed after the ten month absence. I did blood work and everthing, but she thought everything was fine.

Foods Foods that make your hair grow faster? Mar 19 2008

Prenatal vitamins make hair and nails stronger and healthier, but it can take awhile for you to notice the results. Hair grows at a steady rate nothing'll make it grow faster but keeping what you have healthy as it grows is your best bet. =)

When I'm out running I'm pretty focused on my own routine, and I'm sure most of the other runners are too. You could always check out the area where you're going to run and go at a time when there are less runners. I used to run only at night around my neighborhood, because I knew everyone would be inside.

As for how you should go about jogging just do what's comfortable for you. If you jog for five minutes the first day that's fine. The next week you'll probably be jogging ten and more. =)

    Good luck!

I'm not sure about the not eating the crust part, but I saw in a magazine (I think it was Cosmo or something) that bloting the oil off a slice gets rid of 30 calories.

If you can stick to the shake for breakfast shake for lunch routine it should work since it doesn't have a lot of calories. Whenever I tried it I never felt satisfied with a liquid meal and would crave more food. That's just me though, and this was before they had the meal replacement bars so mixing it up with a shake for breakfast and a bar for lunch may have worked better for me.

    Good luck!
