I lost 16 lbs. Wow I did not realize it was that much!

Hey everyone, Well....I gained back the 5 lbs due to eating badly. I was really depressed and didn't log in last week. Thanks Lily for the reminder post *hug*

I'm back up to 190. Don't seem to have the motivation to exercise or eat right at the moment :(

Well unfortunately I twisted my knee and my physical therapist said I am not to exercise at all until it heals, so I won't be able to do this week's challenge. Once my knee is healed I'll get in and do it :)

Ok hmm...I decided to do a cleansing diet thing eating fruits and drinking water with all kinds of good stuff added (and I mean TONS of water). I thought I would end up gaining weight since my calories are limited. I didn't expect to step on the scale this morning and see a 5 lb drop from last week O.O I'm not doing this for long, just a few days or so, no one has to worry! hehe. I'm sure I'll gain the weight back again, but for now I'm going with it lol.

To complete the challenge for this week..

Since I've lost 19 lbs I can fit into some clothes that would not fit before. I feel more self confident. I've had a few guys flirt with me Tongue out I am able to actually look in the mirror now without feeling like crying. My resting heart rate has gone down. It was 82 at the very lowest back in February, now it's in the mid 70's. I don't feel so self conscious telling people how much I weigh anymore. When I go to the doctor and she puts me on the scale and I hear "Oh you've lost weight!" it makes me feel really great. I used to never get fixed up because I didn't feel pretty no matter what I did, now I like to get fixed up for all my classes and anytime I go out!

So my life has improved immensely :)

Well I was hoping to see more than a 1 lb loss this week but I guess it's not happening Tongue out I was just eating too few calories I think. I'm really going to start forcing the food down now LOL. Food is just not tasting good. I used to be an emotional/comfort food eater and I've gone the complete opposite direction!

I hurt myself yesterday walking, fell down and twisted my foot, skinned my hands and right knee. I'm just so graceful Embarassed haha! I'm leery now of working out, afraid I might hurt myself again. My foot is sore too, well I'll just have to go on with it and hope I don't do it again lol.

WHAT I LOVE:

For the things I love, I am going to take a long hot bath, then give myself a manicure and pedicure. I've been taking care of my feet so they are much softer. It's time to wear sandals so this will boost my self-esteem I think :)

I've been eating great, but have been half heartedly exercising. I'm having some problems in my life right now, plus I'm trying to finish up a week of finals and projects. I'm just not sure what to do for myself Undecided

I went out to eat yesterday and I actually made a healthy choice. We went to T.G.I. Fridays, and I ordered the Honey Pecan Salmon. It had rice and steamed veggies with it. I only ate half of it and boxed the rest up for today Smile It's high in sodium though so I'm going to have to drink a lot of water to counteract it Tongue out

Scale said 190 this morning (1 lb down). I don't count it till it says that three days in a row though hehe.

I did this challenge so I could lose some weight before I see my husband and his family on July 3rd. HOWEVER, I may be going up there for a week by myself (without kids) on June 11th-18th!! I'm so excited! I haven't seen my husband for almost a year. He has been so supportive of me about losing weight so I'm not TOO worried about having gained so much. By the end of the summer if I keep up eating right and exercising when I come home, I should look and feel great for when school starts up again in the fall Laughing I am really hoping to surprise all my teachers and classmates with a new me!

Thanks Tracy! Both my kids have sore throats and my daughter had a headache yesterday, bad enough to have to come home. Hopefully it is NOT swine flu. No one is running a fever so far. Although I heard they closed a few schools around where I live due to a case or two..eek.

Oh and I wanted to add to what Tracy said. WASH YOUR HANDS! Very important to keep stuff from spreading!

Hey everyone, I've been having a weird cramp down low kind of on the right side. It hasn't been affecting my exercising yet but it's getting steadily worse (I've had this before and tests showed absolutely nothing). Gonna go to the doctor and have it checked out I think. I also have a pretty bad sore throat, I think it's allergies but it's awful.

My weight loss has stalled again, hopefully I'm not at a major plateau. I'm having a HUGE problem getting in all my calories because I tell myself I'm going to take a nap around 7-8pm after I've eaten and wake up to eat the rest of my calories. Then I don't wake up or I'm not hungry when I do argh! I know what I should be doing (thanks to the comments in my journal from friends, you know who you are :D) but it's just SO hard to make myself eat more earlier in the day. I'm trying though! :P

Lily I hope you get it worked out *hugs*

Bubbles, not if I can't get some more calories in I think! hehe

Argh, I was down to 191.5 a few days ago, and am back up to 193.5. I have't been eating enough, exercising for the last two days or drinking enough water. I'm sure that all contributes hehe.

I weighed 191.5 yesterday morning. That's down by 16.5 lbs this month. I cannot believe how fast it's coming off through diet and exercise! Tongue out I just hope I don't hit a plateau soon hehe.

Great challenge Smile I've joined a few others but this is great for starting in May. Plus I want to lose weight by June 29th because I'm visiting my Husband the next day in Canada.

I started at 208 at the beginning of this month. I am down to 193 now. I know it's drastic but I've only had about a 5000-6500 deficit each week. I'm eating very frequent small meals, exercising 1-2 hours a day 5-6 times a week, and trying to do everything this challenge names Laughing

So with a healthy weight loss of a little less than 2 lbs a week, I would like to be at 175-178 by the time the challenge is over (hope I calculated that right!)
