Hay everyone, so sorry I haven't been able to write much I have been mega busy at work and then after work exercising. It has totally paid off I am 156 today and feeling good. Aiming for 154 next week. Although I may have over done it, went from running 3 miles to consistantly running 4 in record time and now my back is really playing up, its really painful. Not great. In better news I have totally stuck to my no eating biscuits!

Great well today I'm having - Breakfast - banana with low fat plain yogurt. Snacks - apple, nectarine, pear. Lunch - baked sweet potato with cottage cheese and salad. Snacks - raisins. Dinner - homemade soda bread (no added sugar) baked eggs and fruit. |

Hay guys, I'm back. I know I have been away for your last challenge (believe me sitting that one out has made me put the weight I lost back on!) but I am back now!! I think I have put on muscle though which isn't too bad. Beed running and cross training lots. I know you haven't finished your 4th July challenge yet - Go you guys!! Only a few days left!! but I'm up for the next challenge - what are we aiming for next time? 1st August? |

Hay guys back up to 157 today but totm tomorrow so I'll shrug that one off. Had a good day yesterday - no refined sugar at all (thats huge for me). Did eat a bit too much bread though. Doedoe - well done!! Your the first one I think to make your goal!!!!! Ama - Dont worry about the momentary relapse. It happens to us all, just keep up the great work your doing with your work outs, hows the hot guy? |

Hay - weigh in 158 (down 1lb since last week) but up loads from a couple of weeks ago. Managed another 3miler last night in 27mins 35 so definitely gettin fitter. Really bumbed about the weight as I have been eating ok the last few days but I seriously think it could be muscle (plus a bit of water weight - TOTM next week). I measured myself and I am the same measurements as before when I was 153. Very odd! Great job doedoe. |

Hay, so I didn't binge again yesterday! I went for a 4mile run!!! in 38mins 20 (thats good for me) although I was completely dead at the end of it. And today I am down from 159 to 157.8 thats more like it! Doing good today, have a better attitude than I did last week - thanks for the encouragement guys! Nice one on the work outs!! Are we still weighing in tomorrow? |

Wow I am so in. I lost 7lb down to 152.4 (goal weight of 147-150 from SW 159). I was doing so good and then I went on a two week chocolate, cookie, cake binge and am now back to 159 (that was yesterday - today 157.8!!) Really need to lose these last few pounds before my wedding!!! |

Hay guys thanks for the encouragement! I am totally back on track now (although I got on the scales and I am 159! What! 4 weeks ago I was 152.4 this is crazy!) I know muscle weighs heavier than fat but still its a bit depressing really. Nevermind. I had a good day yesterday total of 1520 cals and no binges!!! Feel good about things today going to try for 157 this week so I can get back to where I was. Something I noticed since losing weight is that I dont get up in the morning, look at a piece of clothing and thing... I can't wear that today, my tummy is sticking out. I just grap whatever is around. - Bit of a weird one really but true! Ama dont worry about the weakness moment. It happens and is probably a good idea to spike your cals every now and again. Doedoe - how did you get those abs????? |

Hay, so sorry I have been awol for a while. Business trips last week merged into a busy weekend. I am really struggling at the moment but I am going to turn over a new leaf today! Last weekend I had a few comments that I had lost weight from people but I haven't I am acutally back up to where I started. But I do feel more toned. I think I may have put on muscle?? Depressed by the weigh gain though and determined to rectify the situation!! Congrats ama thats so amazing!!! Doedoe - your abs are amazing - do you do any specific exercises for them? |

Hay everyone, Had quite a good weekend although did drink far too much on Sat night and therefore was hungover on Sunday. Okie - I am also sorry as yesterday I had 2 biscuits (only two though). I am continueing on with the no biscuit thing. I have decided everyone that I am going to be serious this week, only 12 weeks till the wedding and I really want to drop these pounds so I am going to be disciplined like you ama. I will be out a lot this week and away from home on business so I wont be in touch very much but fingers crossed for the weigh in on Fri - Would love to be 153....... |

Hay there again, Sept I a really need to work on my mental attitude towards food aswell. I am really struggling and I know I have a bad attitude towards eating and foods and especially binges at the moment. I not exactly sure how to change that though? I need to be stronger and more determined otherwise I will never get anywhere. I would agree with sept about proccessed foods though, I always try and have fresh cooked foods from scratched, I like knowing what is in my foods. Although you can't beat them for conveniance. Bit worried about the weekend as I am going out with the girls on Sat night which will involve quite a bit of alcohol and then the day after I always have serious carb and salt cravings... be stong! |

Wow ama you are so healthy, how do you stop yourself from snacking more? That is my main problem I think. I feel the need to eat all of the time! Weigh in today156. 1lb down on last week but not the loss I was hoping for. Nevermind. It may be because I had a really salty meal last night - My mum made this japanese, noodle soup thing, very salty but really yummy. I will put it down to water retention I think. I have been around 155 this week so I will aim for 154 next week. I did my run last night and didn't binge, plus I haven't had any biscuits still!! Can't believe it! |

Hay Dove I get really bad IBS as well. The best thing for me is to stick to low fat protein with lots of vegetables and fruit for a while a long with drinking tonnes of water (I really mean a lot). You need to work out what is triggering you, definitely write a food and symptom diary like gi jane said and then avoid the foods that do this to you. |

Well done amayou you are doing brilliantly! What do you eat on a day to day basis that keeps you so low on the calories front - can you give an example of a typical day for you? I totally managed to refrain from binging yesterday, did go slightly over my calorie limit but I am really happy that I stopped when I did! Didn't go for a run but will do tonight. I had to get up at 5 this morning so was totally out of routine (which I hate) and had my breakfast way too early which means that I have had 2 bounty bars which I am not proud of. Although at least I can make up for it throughout the day by doing more exercise and sticking to my calorie limit. Weigh in day tomorrow - ahh! Not sure how I will do as I have had a bad week but heres hoping! |

Thanks, I am going to try all of the above. Great news - I made it through lunch without binging which is big as I haven't managed to do that all week. I just have to keep myself busy and drink tones of water to make sure I dont do it after work or after dinner. Amayou - The cereal bars I have been eating are 120cals each which, I know is fine if you just have one, its awful if I have 5-6! I have drunk so much water and herbal tea today I think I will be up all night at this rate, but it is working! How is everyone else doing this week so far? |

Having a bit of a rought time at the min guys, just can't seem to stop binging. I eat healthily through the day and then think, I'll just have that little cereal bar and BAMM! I've had 6 of the things? Once I get the taste its like I can't stop. I have to be stronger and not give in in the first place. Ran 4 miles last night! Well done on the mini goal setting veg, I like to have something to work towards! Well, I didn't go running last night as for some reason I was shattered so I will have to make up for it tonight I think. I also ate a few snacks which was bad but other than that I did well and this morning I'm 154.6 (come on 153 for Friday!). I am feeling really un motivated at the moment for some reason (not sure why but I really feel I need to pull muself out of the slump that I am in). I have got a little book that I am going to write down everything I eat from now on as I always start loggin cals on the website in the morning but never have time to go back to it in the evening so this might encourage me to be more strickt. Amayou, I dont mean to weigh myself everyday, I would really prefer to do it every week but I can't help myself. I like to know how much I am every morning. I know I shouldn't as when I put on a tiny bit I get annoyed but there we go. I dont really log it everyday, and I only really count Friday weigh ins. |

Well done everyone sounds like we are all ok on the weigh ins - no significant rises anyway. I dropped to 153.6 over the weekend but am back up to 155 today as it was my sisters 21st yesterday and we celebrate with a huge meal out! Mini goal for this week to get to 153 by Friday, run 3 times this week, clean the house and be good! Oh and I still haven't had any biscuits - its actually not very hard now that totm is coming to an end and I have got used to not having them. Anyone else with a mini goal for this week? |

Oh dear, I seriously binged last night, serious period induced cravings and awful cramps caused me to eat loads of chocolate and pizza. I feel so awful about it now. I will put it down to TOTM being a really bad one and vow to be better - In good news through out my eating crap yesterday I totally didn't eat any biscuits! I have no idea how I managed to stay away from them but I did! I will definitely be better today and for the next few weeks. Weigh in 155lb! I got my mini goal despite being on evil TOTM and binging last night so I am happy. My goal for next week will be to get to 153 for Friday (I am kind of hopeing that coming off TOTM will give me a bit of a drop. Septi - Keep up with the exercise honey. I have suffered with depression and keep up with regular exercise as a mild antidepressant. Keep going honey, we all support you! Well, good news - I have internet at home now. Bad news- TOTM pains are so awful I want to curl up with a bar of chocolate and die, honestly it feels like someone is ripping my insides out... evil! I have eaten a bit badly today as a result but still have not had any biscuits although it was a close call at one point phew! Not sure what I will have for dinner yet but it will be healthy - I promise! Hears hoping for good weigh ins tomorrow - although with the way that I am feeling right now I am not too hopeful. |

Great well I went for my run last night again, had no biscuits and only fruit after dinner so I think I did quite well. Feeling ok at the moment - got serious totm pains but am drinking tonnes of water to try and make them go away plus keep the water weight at bay. 155 this morning so if I stay the same I will have dropped one this week and completed my personal mini challenge- It would be nice if I could go a little lower though. Hay everyone - Still no biscuits for me... wow I can't believe I am actually managing this, I even filled up the biscuit tin at work and at home and didn't want to have one at all (well thats actually a lie I did want to have one but I resisted). Did my 3miles last night in 27mins 50!! That again is my best time yet, I was drenched afterwards but was on such a high I danced round the house for about half an hour afterwards - so glad no one was home to see that! I made some bran muffins which are mega healthy so that if I get a carb craving during totm I can have one of those and its only 130cals which isn't too bad and lots of fibre to keep my ibs undercontrol. First day of totm today, not feeling too bloated and I know I said I wouldn't but I did measure myself today and I am only 156 which isn't too bad for the first day so hopefully when I come off I will be down a bit. Still aiming for my 155 goal this week though! Happy birthday Suzie - its the end of uni you have to celebrate! You should take time off to do that and then start again after you celebrations - and I agree with doedoe - keep up the water levels!! Well done amayou!! You conquered one hurdle - the next one will be easier! |

Wow 3 miles in 21mins is awesome. My best time so far is 28minutes dead and I am completely dripping in sweat by the end of it (it is not a pretty sight!) I am aiming to get better though. Right I am going to not eat biscuits until June 29th and also not eat desert during the week (if I can manage the weekend also thats great but I wont be too strict with myself at the moment otherwise I will just break it and then binge). I think that is a massive challenge for me (serious sugar addict) but I have lots of fruit and yogurt around which should substitue me plus I will allow myself a cup of low cal hot choc (only 40cals) if I need something. Fingers crossed, I will keep you posted! Veg well done on the 1500 that is bang on! Keep up the good work. Was avoiding all refined sugar difficult? What does that mean you can and can't eat? Okie - TOTM can vary tonnes so I wouldn't worry too much as long as you are still getting it. If I dont take birth control pills I am so unbelievably irregular. Has anything else changed? Hurray for the no biscuit/cookie times!! Keep it up, if we support each other we will have no problem. |

Okie you are totally forgiven. I can only access the internet at work at the moment but from tomorrow (hopefully) I will be able to get on at home as well so I will be on here all the time! 155.4 today which is good considering its TOTM today or tomorrow. I dont think I will weigh myself now untill Friday - lets see if I can show some self restraint! I know i may go up a little tomorrow but I will let myself off. Didn't have time for a run yesterday as was so busy with work etc. but did eat healthily in the evening and kept myself very busy. Will make time for a run today - would like to get 3 miles in 28minutes in (well see how it goes) |
