Hey! I love reading everyone's stories. It inspires me to keep going and I hope it will inspire you too. I have a six month old baby and since joining CC a little over two months ago I have lost 16 pounds. I did it by counting my calories every day and walking or jogging four mornings a week.

I am now under my pre pregnancy weight and am still dropping. My goal is size 8 pants and I am about two or three weeks away from that! I haven't worn that size since middle school!

You can definately lose those 14 pounds! Good luck to you!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I gave birth to my first about five months ago and it is so wonderful being a mother. You are going to love it!

I think the best recommendation for exercise is to talk to your doctor and read any information you can find (google "exercise while pregnant"). I walked and jogged during my pregnancy daily and had a quick delivery and didn't gain too much weight.

Two hours at the gym may be a bit much, especially this early in your pregnancy when the baby is the most vulnerable. I guess it just depends on how hard you are working out. I remember there being a maximum heart rate for pregnant women but am not sure what it is.

Again, talk to your doctor and don't panic!!
Hope you have a wonderful pregnancy!

Hey everyone! Just checking in! I wish I could tell you how much I have lost but alas, I don't actually have a scale. I just weigh myself when I take my girl in for her monthly doctor appointments. Not ideal, but I don't mind too much. I am so excited to be losing weight, but more exciting that that is that I actually feel in control of what I am eating. I have struggled with overeating for as long as I can remember. After starting CC and really working hard, I don't think about food as much anymore. And its no big deal for me to say no to all those delicious junk foods. This is huge for me. I am thankful.

kgrace81, That's great that you have lost three pounds! Stay encouraged, it is going to take time to get back to 115 but its absolutely possible. About your new diet...go the weight loss form and search for Special K Diet. There is an interesting thread there you should check out.

I know you mentioned you are struggling wanting to keep breastfeeding and I encourage you to not give up! It is so good for your baby and so good for you. Those extra calories you burn making milk will help you in your weight loss. How many calories a day are you eating and what do you usually eat?

All right ladies...keep it up! Eat good today and kiss your babies a lot!

Hey! I would love to join this group. I am breastfeeding my four month old daughter. I have been doing CC for a about six weeks now and have lost seven pounds!

Current weight 156

Goal weight 144 (or less!)

Looking forward to encouraging you ladies and getting some tips. Wsamemoon, I hear you on the belly bump problem. I had it bad and was trying to do lots of crunches and stuff but I learned here on CC that you can't really target areas for weight loss. As I have been eating better and walking, the pounds are coming off and my belly is getting flatter. Just keep doing your exercise and eat well and it will work!

Question for you all....how many calories do you eat in a typical day??
