Health & Support anyone who has taken med for anxiety/depression?? Jun 23 2008

My advice would be to consider it from every angle, read some patient experiences on the net and discuss it with a family member or a close friend. You dont always get the right meds/dose straight away and it takes time to feel better so dont be disheartened if you dont feel better straight away. I tried citalopram for a few weeks but it wasnt for me. I've now been on sertraline for 2 and a bit weeks.

I hope things work out for you

If its not stale, and you cant see mould on it, its problly fine. Companies underestemate the life of the product to make sure it is safe so you usually have a couple of days.

Smwhipples has a point. I have my routine and when it gets broken it can be a cause of a binge.

Incorporate foods you enjoy in with the health food so you dont feel left out, that causes binges for me too!

Brown rice and beans are good. What one lacks the other has so its a balanced meal. I have it every day and it never gets boring cos there are so many beans and i add different vegetables.

I also make bean burgers in batches and freeze them and keep a big bag of dehydrated soya mince in the cupboard, but i'm vegetarian so i eat quorn alot too :)
