I'm not sure. Like I said, the original pill I was given was a probiotic. I'm not feeling gassy though.

thank you, I'll try that.

But assuming they can't...is there another, cheaper pill I could use?

I think it was a probiotic, i just wish I could remember the name. The problem with eating yogurt is that it bloats me BIG TIME. So, reverse effect there. It wasn't lactose. Now that you say it, it was a probiotic. Which works the best though? When I asked my pharmacist at CVS he said none of them really worked, they just had a ton of caffeine.

ALIGN.

That was what I used.

I seem to have maintained my weight, of 130.6 so at least no gain! It may be off a few-the gym I go to during the week doesnt have a digital scale. (very frusterating) just the kind all the doctors offices have, so I can never tell exactly.

For some reason I've been going through phases of being extremely hungry all the time, to not hungry for long periods of time. Now, I'm one of those people that is constantly hungry...an hour after a meal, my stomach is growling. I think it may be related to how much I exercise that day, that determines my hunger. Its very confusing though.

I cant complain about my legs...they're one of the few places of my body I'm happy with. I skated for years, and that definition stuck, apparently.

I'll be weighing in either tomorrow or Thursday ( i dont go to the gym on Wednesdays.=0 ) If thats all right with you ladies. I have a feeling I'll be back up to 132. I've been measuring myself, and I dont seem to have gotten any smaller in the stomach, where i WANT to lose the weight, so, I dont know where I'm loosing it. Probably my boobs. That would just figure. =(

Thats a good question...

I just threw out numbers. I figured 1200 was good for me, since you arn't supposed to go under, and it seems to match my height and weight...and i honestly just threw out a date for my target weight too.

Now that you mention it, it would be good to know how to make sure that will work...

Weight Loss how often do YOU eat? Mar 29 2008
15:51 (UTC)

I have no idea how some of you eat that little, haha!

I am ALWAYS hungry. Although since I've gotten over being sick, it seems to be less. But usually, I eat at 8 (oatmeal or cereal or an egg and wheat toast) and I'm hungry by 9:30. I usually try to hold off until lunch time at 12, or just nibble on cereal bits or a banana. Depending on what I eat, I'm full until about 1:30 or 2. Then I'm hungry again. It doesnt get really annoyingly hungry until 4 though. But i dont eat supper until 5:30, so going those 5 and a half hours without eating, or just nibbling, is tough.

After I eat supper I'm usually good for the night, depending on what i eat. Im usually hungry again around 8 or 9, but I try not to eat, or not eat much, 3 hours before bed, so I try not to eat then.

My aunt though, who is tiny, is constantly picking at things. She'll have a bite of a big mac, then wont touch it for 6 hours, but in the meantime she'll be have a few grapes, then maybe a few bites of apple, then a few chips etc. So I think for some people, that works, and others It just never can. Different body chemistry, as someone said.

Foods how many calories do YOU have for breakfast? Mar 29 2008

Im not sure...one day a week I go out to breakfast and thats a high calorie day, but I've never recorded it, so i dont know. I usually have a really light, if any, lunch that day though.

On a normal day...I eat at around 8am and I'll eat about 130 calories (cereal or oatmeal, maybe an egg) plus the 60-70 calories of sugar and cream in my coffee...So we're up around 200 now...then around 9 or 10 I'm hungry again, and i usually munch on cheerios or sometimes a banana or something so...I guess about 250-300.

I think I'm begining to find that splurging sometimes is also ok. I think I've said it before, but, a diet has to be one you can live with, or you'll gain it all back. I just cant live without applebees and sweets on ocassion!

I think I'm also feeling up because I weighed myself at the gym today and I'm down to 130.6!!! I've been stuck at 132.6 for at least a month, if not more. So this was extremely exciting for me. 5 more pounds to my goal weight, but honestly, If i just stay at 130, I think I can be content. =)

I say that now but, wait till I'm having a really bad day, and i may feel differently. ;-)

I also know someone who has been on WW for a year or two, and she's lost a lot of weight, she loves it! She even allows herself some vices (diet soda-I guess its not that bad but its not really good for you either. Or candy in moderation, cheese burgers etc. )

She doesn't go to the meetings though...just does it by herself. As i said though, she loves it. She keeps having to buy new clothes, and it seems to work pretty consistantly. She's only hit one or two plateau's in that entire time.

I'll try that! I usually do a variation of that-except instead of lowering both legs at the same time, I do one at a time and leave the other in the air...havent done it in a while though, since I've been at the gym. I have to get back on that. =/

Im not even sure if they have weighted bars...I've never gone in the weight room. I've peaked in on my way by, and i think they do but again, not sure.

haha, true, I HAVE done that...I think I'm just scared of either dropping it on me, or like star dust said, hurting my back or something. =/

Do you know HOW they tone the stomach/other areas besides the obvious arms?

My goal weight is 125 but...I'm not overly optimistic of that happening. I'm not willing to cut out certain things i really like. (Candy or eating out once in a while). Mostly, I'm at the point I'd really just like to start toning. I've heard that before and I'm starting to believe it-that my body is comfortable at this weight and thats why it's not really going to budge much more.

I agree! A lot of girls say it just to get attention and be told they arnt. Its a self esteem thing. I guess we all dig for compliments from time to time, but Its extremely frusterating to have someone saying that, and know its all about the attention.

I too have a friend who has always been able to eat whatever she wants, and not gain a pound. Very frusterating. =(

I hear ya...Im always thinking about what's for the next meal. As soon as I'm finished the first, I'm planning the second. I chew ALOT of gum to try and distract me and keep my mind off it...and I also drink water with those crystal light packets, or coffee (not too much) or other low calorie things that have taste. Also to try and keep my mind of eating...but still it gives me something to look forward too.

Hi everyone! I just joined CC and I'd lve to be a part of this group! I havent read through all of the pages (too many!) so tell me if I'm doing something wrong...

Basic info:

Age: 19

Height: 5'7

Starting weight: 135

Last time i weighed myself (probably a week ago, but I'll be weighing again tomorrow prob.) 132.6

I was sick all last week, so i didnt go to the gym...at all. =(

Im still recovering this week, but better, so I've been twice this week, in addition to the 45 minutes of walking I do each day at school...TRYING to eat better...I usually stay with in a 1200 calorie limit but Its taken me since the end of September to lose those 2 and a half pounds! So, I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong...hence why I'm here! =)

Young Calorie Counters Why can't I lose weight anymore? Mar 26 2008
22:52 (UTC)

I just have to say, although I'm older than you (19) and an inch shorter, 125 is my GOAL weight. Im at 132 right now...Im extremely offended that you, at an inch taller than me think that 135 makes you a whale.

People would kill to be your height and weight. I know its part of the teenage angst drama bs...but you arn't overweight by any means...and you know, I think you're just looking for people to tell you that.

Sorry for getting my start on here off to a bad start, but it had to be said.
