I totally agree.... i would love to have an edit button to a food item. it would be so much easier or if i accidently put the food into the wrong catagory, i would like to just drag it to the right one |

I also was on prednisone for months at 125mgs a day and finally tapered off to none. I totally understand and HATE the weight gain that i incurred while on the pred. I did lose 15 of the 30 pounds i gained on it pretty quickly which i think was just water and the moon face. I am struggling to lose the rest. I did search google for ways to lose weight on prednisone and there are lots of folks out there with their opinions. The best is just keep exercising and realize that when you are off of it again, you at least did your best to stay in shape. Maybe it won't be that bad. |

Dear Court~ Life is so awesome and you are so young to hate it. There is so much out there that God has provided for us, but we need to meet Him halfway and seek it. God has provided us His Love, Mercy and Grace. All we need to do is open our mind and hearts to Him. Call Jesus' name and ask Him to come into your heart. If you do this, you will find the peace you are looking for. We travel thru life hoping that happiness and peace will just come to us like magic, what we don't realize is that we have to be open to it first. I know what you are going thru because i also suffered addictions and as you may know, having an addiction is like a slow suicide. Jesus has said "I am your Healer, your Joy. With noiseless footsteps I draw near to you. I need no agonized pleading. Your need is My Call." Just call His name and open your soul to Him, He loves you so very much, and as He has promised, He will take care of us when we don't even know He is there. Faith is believing in something you can't see. Have faith and know that if the CC community is hearing your cries....So is He.

Good morning vjoxoxo~ how did you do today? i did get home and work out on my wii. i just bought the new cardio golds gym and did the boxing for a half hour. oh my gosh, i can definately feel it today. not sure how i am going to log it, but it felt great!!!

yes. didn't get a chance to do my walk, but will be working out on the wii tonight. i just felt like i needed something different to get me over the hump. i am glad to hear you lost...Good luck tomorrow!! i'll be pulling for ya! |

I am stating this diet today. i have been stuck on a plateau and am hoping to kick start my weight loss. i also would be interested in any success stories out there. I only plan on using the diet for 2 weeks because i also do weight watchers, but sometimes i think our bodies bet too used to what we are eating maybe mixing it up would be a good thing? |

I just started this diet today. i found Protien bread made by Orowheat at Walmart. i read where you can snack on carrots and celery. I do weightwatchers and so far i am right on track with my points. i will have to check the calories in order to ensure i am getting the right amount i need. i have been stuck at 150 seems like for an eternity. I was hoping to use this diet to get over this plateau. |

I actually have done pretty good this week. Last week not so much. I am hoping to be down the pound i gained this weigh in and maybe 1 more. Actually have been exercising this week. Feeling very motivated! |

oops!!! my bad.... 3 times a week. and i got out yesterday and did 2.5 miles in 45 minutes!!! i wish i could do 45 minutes 3 times a day... i would be down where i want to be. i wonder if that could be done? that would be a challenge, huh. |

I find myself trying to do at least 30 - 45 3 times a day, but oh my gosh, this week has been tough. But, tonight, my son has baseball practice for 2 hours at a local school that has a track, so i will be getting in at least an hour of brisk walking. i recently heard where a woman actually pens in her workout time in her calendar... i thought that was a great idea. i realize sometimes my time has to be between 4:30am - 5:30 am or sometime after 6:00 pm at night, but there has to be time for me, right? |

the good thing about Vegas is that with all the walking you do, you pretty much get your exercise. i went back to the gym last night after too much time off and pretty much had to start over, but if you all don't mind, i am going to stick with you to the end. thanks all~ |

if you can get to the internet, then the issue may be with your firewall settings or sometimes things like symantic or other antivirus programs may be blocking you from getting there. also, if you can get to the internet, then go to tools and check your internet options then security tab. Your internet settings may be too high and may be blocking you. you can adjust them down to med or med low and be okay. One last thing, again if you can connect to the internet but just not that page, check to see if when you connect to it you don't get a pop up asking you to install active X. this will sometimes keep you from getting to certain sites especially if this is a new laptop and you have not gotten all of you settings customized yet. Hi Ladies... i did not fall off the planet. Vacation was great and managed to only slightly over indulge. I am up : ( but I will be at the gym this entire week. My husband is taking me to Vegas for our anniversay at the end of Sept and i sure would like to meet him there a few pounds lighter. So weigh in for today 153.8. I am sad, but i am not going to let it get to me. After i weighed this morning the only thing i could think of is that i just suck at all of this, but i had a light breakfast and after readjusting my attitude, i am back on the "I can do this train" I just wish i could find a diet that works for me and be able to stick to it. Talk to you all tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good week. |

Good morning all!!! we are back and i am scared to get on the scale. i will weight in tomorrow. i didn't do too bad, and managed to walk a couple of days, it looks like i am going to have a bit of a struggle at the gym tomorrow but hopefully i can get back into the swing of things. LULU~ don't be discouraged. I have spent weeks losing the same 3 pounds. i do great on the weekdays, but can't resist having a few beers on the weekend hence, 3 pounds of bloatiness to loose all over again. I have always had a hard time losing weight. It took me FOREVER to lose 30 pounds after i had my son who is now 10. Then i got sick and the meds made me gain it all back. to date, i have lost 15 of 30 i regained.... i hate HAVING to always lose weigjt and the older i get, the harder it gets. I know this time will be the trick and it is mostly because of my support here and the friends i have made to encourge and motivate me. I love the couch to 5k group. i know i am a week behind, but i know that i will be "crossing the finishline" shortly after you all! thanks
